  1. Polish/German Maik Nawrocki for 5mln + boni to Celtic. Legia also with 20% of next transfer. Not wanted by Werder reserves 2,5y ago and send on loan to Poland, first one ruckrunde in Warta then two seasons at Legia. This year Legia paid Werder 1,5mln which is a ridiculous price for a guy who not only not debuted in first team in Germany but also played only 8 games in reserves team. I guess Legia doin Legia things or maybe Werder with good instincts slapping that pricetag.

From pure defending perspective he is a great player, he is always there to defend/block, real leader of defence. Also very threatening in offensive which is always good [5goals last season]. However he is terrible at ball playing, his touch/pass often is amateur level. He is like those goalkeepers who have world class saves only to make one or two blunders a match. Also his injury record is a bit worrying. You could say he is sold only after his first full season [25 out of 34 games last season].

And while were speaking about Greta...I dont know exactly why i find her hilarious. I think its those faces shes making. Would make great comedy team with G.W.Bush.

  3. Sabitzer is perfect example of a player who lost all the confidence. He seemed many times out of place in ManU where he slowed so many attacks playing sideways or to the back. At some point it was laughable how he was terrified going forward. Certainly didnt fit with Bayern even if he started pretty good. Played well in RB but even there you could see he wasnt top player and Bayern was taking a gamble. Now he is a solid/underwhelming squad player at the most. Maybe he wil reinvent himself, premier league is better/faster than buli but to me its more Bayern win than Dortmund gain. They just offload their deadwood onto biggest rival and for quite good money too[they even made profit of 5mln on this guy]. Now im thinking who would i want more, 25mln Xhaka or 20mln Sabitzer, tough one :classic_biggrin: I would pick Sabitzer, cheaper and younger at least, should be sellable for 50% after one/two years, but both of those transfers are terrible.

Im really curious what role Guerrerio will play in Bayern. Im thinking more like Raphinha in his mascot days, but who knows, maybe he will play ahead of Davies.

On first july 2023 Rakow signed for free https://www.transfermarkt.com/maxime-dominguez/profil/spieler/207561. After signing Kittel there is big crowd there and media inform that Dominguez is being sold to Gil Vicente after 20 days in the club :classic_biggrin: Judging by the club ablose will be rather small, like 300-400k, but still its funny. Football manager stuff there.

Sonny Kittel from the unemployment office HSV to Rakow. Polski bros, we're feasting tonight! UCL group phase, here we come!

3 year contract, didnt find for how much but probably no less than 350k-400k salary. Few years ago there was a talk about him in national team, as we could use goalscoring midfielder but somehow this thing fade away. Time will tell how this will end. I know i dont like its 3 years, 2+1 would be enough or even more 1+1. I think its low risk transfer, if he flops/is past it he will be back in 2.buli/3.buli for some 100-200k. For ekstraklasa he should be more than ok, i expect 10goals :classic_biggrin:

His goalscoring record is more than ok even if its only 2.buli, very strange he didnt have his chance at first tier.

Raków in midfield is stacked, both in numbers [think this year Red Bull numbers] and quality [for Ekstraklasa]. What they need though is striker i hope this doesnt mean that the transfers are over.

  7. What is goin on at Bayern? Overrated Goretzka who is still livin of that covid season oficially for sale as Tuchel cant look at him, with lowly West Ham sniffing around. Today they said they dont consider Kimmich unsellable. This really look like gathering funds for going all in for Kane or they simply have financial woes. Maybe very sympathehic looking Tuchel is antagonizing whole club. Both Kimmich and Goretzka on huge overpaid contracts so it would be probably good for budget.

Its like with Ajax when they claimed 5-10years ago that they can buy any player in the world [reports were they have more than 300mln in the bank] but they chose no to. It was more than not believable since every year Aax was selling players for great value and buying for peanuts. Now after bad transfers last season they dont have 15mln for new player and wait for Alvarez sale:classic_ninja: Bayern claimed the same thing, that they can have anyone they just not wiling to pay crazy money.

I'm sure there's matchfixing in lower leagues in Germany, however not as prevalent as in other countries, e.g. Polska. But no one in the DFB would think about giving known matchfixers like Robert Hoyzer or Ante Sapina all access VIP passes to the national team. However what I meant with Polskis being Polskis was the bonus scandal:

Star quarterbacks in the US like Tom Brady provide their offensive line with gifts like luxury watches or cars at the end of the season to keep the team spirit up. Polskis obviously have a different approach to teamwork...

Im inclined to think more fixing is in german lower leagues than in Poland's. Simply cause Unibet is offering only our third league and with your heimat its as far as 6 tier if not deeper. Same thing with England lower leagues or surely italian.

I saw rainbow german teamwork at Qatar :classic_ninja: No one is giving matchfixers vip passes in Poland too. Everybody is blaming everybody now, thats why we have scandal and some sponsors are [or threatening to get] out. With Lewy earning only bits under 20mln how much would he get from that 7mln? 500k maybe, hard to think he would have be so greedy, but all the reports of insaders showed that he indeed was. Very strange and sad, maybe that bavarian air changed him :classic_blush: Or maybe top footballers really dont earn that much how media is reporting...

On other hand Raków is playing today second match in Champions League against Flora Tallin at 19cet. First match 1:0 and it could be tricky. They just lost in pens Supercup against Legia after boring/uneventful game. There are clearly problems up front with best player Ivi Lopez out for 6months. Not many people realize but bottom of Europe became very even and Flora is decent[ish] team. They played in conference groups in 21/22 for example or beat 3rd scottish team Hibernian 2:0 and 3:0 two years ago or narrowingly lost twice 2:1 to Eintracht F. in 2020. I would place Flora in like middle/bottom of german third tier. I hope for easy advance but i would not bet much money on it.

Ekstraklasa is starting already this friday. Our FA probably pretty sure national team will make into Euros :classic_biggrin::classic_rolleyes:

It will be race between Legia/Lech/Rakow. If Lech hit good with the transfers [1,7 for iranian winger Gholizadeh] i would fancy them, but to be honest its a coin toss between the three. Rakow is after moldovian striker Ion Nicoaleascu who single-handidly beat Poland last month, so if they get this man i would fancy Raków more. Still the team that will have most chance is the one that will NOT qualify for europe group stage, so look for that.

Interesting read, but most of it can be summarized as Polskis doing Polski things!

This things happen everywhere. Ceramika is like 4th tier. You have beauties like Turkspor Augbsurg, Turkiye Wilhelmsburg, Turkgucu Munchen, Makkabi Berlin for example [no Polskis Ludwikschafen? maybe i didnt notice it] You cant convince me with how big structuraly is german fussball there no similar stories like Stasiak there, not to mention match fixing in lower leagues [which is prevalent in every country in the world, lower leagues is where the money is made after all] In Portugal 2nd tier team played K.Miura japanese player who is like 55y.o. just because he is part owner. Ukraine 2nd just before the war fielded box champion Oleksandr Usyk.

Polish fussball was highly corrupted in the 90s up until maybe half of the 00s. Now its similar like in the rest of the world. First league is more or less clean but the lower you go the dirtier it is. Bookies try to fight against it. For example on the biggest one you can bet up until 5 tier matches but only in three way accumulator and with a cap of 70e and sometimes even lower. Dont know how it is here but once Unibet didnt accept 10e single on a dritte polnische liga.

  10. Saudi are new China. One bloody coup and the fun is over. And i dont believe one bit about the money that is offered. Dont believe in Ronaldo is on 100 or Messi refused 250, certainly dont believe that Lewandowski was offered 100 for two seasons and he refused :classic_biggrin::classic_biggrin: cause he rather earn below 20 at Barcelona team that at this time have virtually 0 chance for winning CL. This is the guy that didnt play WC Qualifier with Hungary to play buddy/buddy with some billionaire.

My theory saudis are in this for many things mostly for making bailouts to failing europe football, same as was China. Without the China influx of money i think we would see some bankrupt clubs. This is in price of oil world is purchasing.

PL season doesnt look that bad. Arsenal/Liverpool looks stronger maybe they will keep it up with City. Arsenal need striker [wouldnt it be funny if Havertz played striker here just like in Chelsea?] and Liverpool central defender, if Pep was at Liverpool he would sold/fringe Van Dijk year ago. Im baffled by the moves by ManU. Ten Haag by all means seems like a top coach but the transfer choices or lack thereof are...for what are they waiting, leftovers?:classic_biggrin: Onana will be another Mendy in important/heavy games he many times looks out of place. Chelsea clearing some deadwood and doin Chelsea things but still no dependable striker as N.Jackson is not it.

If someone long for top quality fussball can check the link up. Now its Gornik Zabrze-Hannover then at 15 Hannover-Koeln and at 16 Górnik-Koeln starring welt cup sieger Lukas Podolski. They play 2x30 if you wondering. Also german SkySport showing this tournament. So far Gornik have zero to say against H96. Its more or less reserves but still how they play pains me :classic_blush:

  12. Carvalho apparently was promised game time [weird move by RB by the way, loan with no option, so what are they satellite of Liverpool or making favours to player?] I agree that Sorloth/Silva are surplus but they said after Szobo they will not sell anyone, so maybe they will stay until january. Dont really know how they will want to play with Baumgartner being played a lot of times in attack in Hoffenheim [that was surpise to me was sure he is off midfielder] I think Openda/Baumgartner are locked cause of pricetag and also Werner is rather sure bet. So its one place for 7 people :classic_biggrin:Olmo/Carvalho maybe? They could also play with two center forwards in Sesko and Openda. Sesko maybe is not second Haaland but he could be very good and i dont think RB is planning to use him only as a cover for Openda.

Journos reporting that Walker would prefer staying with City but you cant have all :classic_biggrin: Weird transfer and they could have problem with him. I think one season he will be usefull but the next two even if he is physical beast could be diffrent. He is already 33 after all.

  13. RB in offensive looks stacked! If Openda starts firing from the start i think they could have a real shot.

Two def midfielders will be Haidara/Kampl/Schlager/Moriba. So what make Olmo/Carvalho/Baumgartner/Werner/Openda/Sesko/Silva/Sorloth/Poulsen/Forsberg all competing for only 4 positions? :classic_biggrin::classic_ninja::classic_love:

  14. In Ekstraklasa vs 3.liga money is mostly better and especially exposure is much much higher. You can be virtually anonymous player and in a year play in top polish team or go abroad to decent team. I can understand going from being in kader of 1.buli team to Ekstraklasa is risky but when you stuck in 3.liga hell you really need to evaluate your options.

About exposure, Ekstraklasa is 23rd first league in Europe. In terms of quality is at level of middle/lower 2.buli or 3.buli with the exception of two/three top teams that maybe could compete for staying in 1st Buli. Ekstraklasa regularly sells to Europe players for prices like 2-10mln. This season Skoras[Brugge] 7mln, Łakomy 2,5[Young Boys], Wlodarczyk U21 player with 30games [17starts NEVER survived full time] and 9 goals [4pens] and he went to Sturm for 3mln [ridiculous that one, he is as wooden as my desk]. You dont see that kind of transfers from 2.buli and for sure not in 3.liga. Its not fair cause mostly the better players are in 2buli and 3buli and definately in 2.la liga but it will not change anytime soon. European cups, tv [every single match of ekstraklasa is televised], all the national teams that polish players are in. It dont matter we lose to Moldova or we are struggling in eurocups :classic_ninja:

Ennali went to a average team but with good season 10g/a he could easily be back 2.buli or even in 1 next season. Didnt see him but guys on the net said he is very fast and taking bad decisions :classic_biggrin:

Marc Gual spanish striker http://www.90minut.pl/kariera.php?id=44893 at the age of 27 scored the best result in his career and landed at Legia with salary of 500k. Another season with 15goals and he will debut at LaLiga. Before him it was Carlitos http://www.90minut.pl/kariera.php?id=33388 and now Rakow is refusing offers of 4/5 mln for this best player in league http://www.90minut.pl/kariera.php?id=41922. Guys were struggling to make 50-100k a season in 2/3la liga and now they are at 500< with prospects to earn even more.

Ekstraklasa>3.Liga and if youre not in a 2.buli team that fight for promotion i would also think hard about going to Ekstraklasa. Ennali made good decision even if he flops massively he is back at dritte liga.

Bialek from Wolfsburg now rumoured to go to coach Kohfeldt in Belgium. Another Polski fraud?

Wolfsburg coughed up 5mln for him and his contract runs out next year. There were some talk that with Eupen loan he is extending with Wolfsburg but no confirmation. At this point i dont know what they want to do with him. It was a too soon transfer he wasnt nearly ready for that jump as he was after first senior season [this feel similar to Włodarczyk that i mentioned up higher]. In eredivisie he was hot/cold lets see how he will play under Bremen legend Kohfeldt.

Fat Adeyemi is hitting the nail on its head, however the rest is fake news! Never played for any German U-team and was a starter in the 3. Liga last year, so the question is, what is he doing in Ekstraklasa?

Seems like he bounced from youth team to youth team, so I guess he's poorly advised/a troublemaker? Funny thing is, I recently found out that Paulinho (Tottenham, Barca, Guangzhou) used to play in Ekstraklasa as well as a teen. :classic_ohmy:

My mistake about youth unders. Like i said it was all Podolski work. I think erste buli forgot about dritte liga for a while now and its very hard to make a career playing there. If you miss on promotion you can be stuck there and with latest example of Yeboah Ekstraklasa is a great option and more german players should look to the east border. If i was running Esktraklasa club i would invest in players from 2.Buli+ 3.Buli + 2laliga +3laliga [we had some success with spanish players] plus some young polish players. Best ROI there is.

Well, there was many brasilian players in that ŁKS side then. It was time when owner Antoni Ptak was importing them in numbers. In ŁKS he was more like experimenting with 5-6 brasilian players but in his next project Pogon Szczecin he flew off the handle hiring 15 and more brasilian players. Some of them were trained footballers but some look like they were taken by a force from a beach :classic_biggrin: When Paulinho landed at ŁKS it was a loan and to be honest he didnt look that great. But in comparison to some of his collagues he looked decent.

We got some funny stories like Legia pass on Geremi, Essien or also not opting to go for Salah when was looking for his move from Egypt. Legia passing on Lewandowski to bring this chap https://www.transfermarkt.us/mikel-arruabarrena/profil/spieler/51559 is stuff of legends.

Yeboah debuted today in Champions League in 2nd half and was the best player on the pitch. Raków pretty wastefull with only 1:0 against Flora Tallin and many players with a cramps:classic_blush: Even torhuter Kovacevic had one :classic_rolleyes:Feels like new young coach made some mistakes in preparations. Im guessing they still in hard training while Flora in full season so maybe next week game will look diffrently.

    https://www.reddit.com/search?q=john+yeboah

Look at his goals here while i think the chance is small maybe there is some that one day he will make debut in national team. Still young with Buli transfer next year who knows. Stranger things happend.

    @jerry, I'm demanding answers!

Apparently great day had 16year old keeper Mateusz Jeleń with at least three patzers :classic_blush:

Day before they drew 4:4 with mighty Greuther Furth. One of the goals scored neuzugang from Rot-Weiss Essen Lawrence Ennali. Transfer made thanks to Podolski feel similar to Yeboah as he played all under national teams for Germany then fizzled in dritte liga.

  17. Saudis asking for Mane and Dortmund interested in Schalke legend Mckennie. American is overrated, lazy without any leadership qualities. Will fit right in! :classic_biggrin: If you want some US boy from relegated Leeds take Tyler Adams. That one at least runs a lot.

Leverkusen still on the path of overpaying. After 25mln for Xhaka [ridiculous price!] they offered 7mln for torhuter Kovacevic from Rakow. He is after difficult, rather average season [for him, he still had 19 clean sheets in 32 games] so i see this as overpay and risk. If i was Rakow i would try to keep him one more season and then sell him for 15 but 7 would be record transfer from Ekstraklasa so its probably done. Journos say they are determined to buy.

    https://www.fussballtransfers.com/a3248530889621315771-millionen-offerte-bayer-buhlt-um-neuen-keeper

On other news german John Yeboah who year ago was probably thinking about visiting unemployment office in Duisburg secured 2mln with boni transfer to polish champion Raków. Big risk IMO as it was his first good season in life, he didnt even played good in Eredivisie in well renowned clubs like Willem II and Almere. Eredivisie 35 games 2 goals 1 assist, zweite Eredivisie 17games 4 goals 1 assist and mighty Ekstraklasa in a team that fought hard to avoid relegation 32 games 10goals 2 assists. 2mln for him quite a gamble, better to bet 500k on Dortmund to became champions :classic_happy: Got offers fom France, Darmstadt but im pretty sure nothing that high. Well see. Like i said he was playing terribly at left back and once put in the middle he looked quite diffrent. Maybe he will not be another Ekstraklasa one season wonder fraud and help Raków to advance to Champions League groups...

Great business with Coulibaly. Seriously, they would add 10 and Schlottersomething is theirs:classic_biggrin:  Bayer with 25 for Xhaka. Yikes. 12months left on the contract, old, not wanted, price should be 10-15max not 25. Dont be stupid and dont pay british tax! Having Xabi they could get someone much younger from Spain for half the price. With RedBull i forgot they are also after Openda. They supposedly said that after Szobo they will not sell anyone so with Olmo staying it will be very crowded there in midfield/attack.
