I think Kownacki is the replacement for Maxi Phillipp, who was the replacement for Oliver Burke. I don't think he's being used to assemble another Bundesliga Manager 93 team, however.

Well, some of our media reported that he will earn 3mln and up to fookin 6!! So probably he is meant to lead the attack for them. Hard to believe some measly Werder can afford such wages but that is the world now i guess. IMO its big risk transfer cause if he flop with those wages there will no way they will be able to move him. Overpaid massively cause he is free transfer. He almost bankrupt Fortuna last time they bought him for their record fee. He still can have breakthrough season, still only 26, like i said he was top Europe prospect once, but judging what ive seen in Fortuna nad last year in Ekstraklasa he didnt progress much, and is still the same very inconsistent forward.

Uli Borowka's biography: "Volle Pulle - My double life as pro football player and alcoholic".

Ive know a guy who was at the Widzew Łódź when Borowka was there and the stories was wild! :classic_biggrin: He was total professional for like one week. One game they played away and he was subbed after first half, or even first half very early nonetheless. So he went shower got dressed and went to the town sightseeing :classic_ninja: Widzew was about to get home and Uli is not here, Uli vanished. So they searched for him, waited like till the 2-3 in the night and then said fook it were going home. There was little press/media ongoing story where is Waldo [Uli]. Long story short Uli got found more than a week later 200-300km from the town he went missing and another 100 from Łódź :classic_ohmy: LEGEND

  2. David Kownacki from F.Dusseldorf signed with Werder. With Ducksch and World Cup legend Fullkrug hard to see him playing. I guess at least one of them is on the way out. As for the choice It could be quick road to 2.Buli, if both of mentioned guys are out for example. Also Werder looked at least as bad as Stuttgart/Schalke/Bochum this season. He had many offers and im pretty sure from a bit better teams [Union] and choose most likely money. Or maybe Ole Werner seduced him with another project in vein of Rufer/Bratseth/Herzog/Votava/Basler/Eilts and Ekstraklasa legend Borowka :classic_biggrin::classic_biggrin:

  3. Win is win no one will remember bottling against Bochum or Stuttgart. Wonder what will happen at Bayern. Pretty sure they will keep composure until next weekend having in mind Dortmunds bottling nature but after that it will full blown FC Hollywood. Im not even sure Tuchel is safe! How stupid was Kahn changing Julien? Kahn could fire Nagelsmann right now and no one would bat an eye. Or even only after City. Im betting that Kahn will leave with some of the board and they will beg Julien to return. How crazy that would be?

How sure are we Mainz will not spoil the fun? If i was Kahn i would go into their office with few mln in a suitcase :classic_biggrin: Or maybe to referee house or something...

    Kahn right now probably

  4. Made some bets today with Schalke win at 2,80 as a focal point. Its not a big sum so dont worry about me :classic_biggrin: but i feel this is game for their taking. I dont like odds though, cause its a bit too high IMO [should be like 2,10 if not even 1,8 after all for Schalke its biggest game of the season] and have feeling that bookies knows more and maybe Schalke will not win it. Frankfurt is very hot/cold team playing for nothing [training session before DFB pokal final trying to avoid injuries] now with already fired coach. Didnt have luck with Schalke this season, we'll see today :classic_ninja:

  5. Alvarez is very good, could be the missing link if you keep Bellingham [yeah, i know], exchange Ryerson/Meunier for some LB/RB who can provide 10+assists [hint hint Grimaldo,Juranovic] and bring good cover for Haller. Think peak Schmelzer/Piszczek+someone like Paco. But i think there is big competition for Alvarez, even from the very top clubs beside Bayern. But if Leverkusen can pull Grimaldo you can definately pull Alvarez.

BTW: Leverkusen just lost the final with Roma who had one shot not on target and 28% posession. Peak Mourinho and peak Loserkusen.

In other, im assuming, very interesting news Uronen is close to Lech Poznań :classic_cool: and mentioned here couple times John Yeboah is a Darmstadt target, you could probably say new Buli member. I remember when Śląsk Wrocław contracted him a year ago he had offers only from 3.liga and regionalliga. Tell me you cant make a name for yourself in a Ekstraklasa :classic_tongue:

  6. Most of all terrible tactic [no tactics just vibes] from don Carlo. If after 20mins [when City was completely dominating] he was able to change Kroos/Modric for Tchouameni or possibly both moving Camavinga to midfield or sub Ceballos things could be diffrent. It was clear that Modric/Kroos didnt work at all and goals was matter of time. Real would most likely lose but it would be much closer with the subs. Also terrible idea to put Militao instead of Rudiger who was best man in first game. Apart from Wolfsburg game and maybe 3:3 Legia probably the worst Real game in Champions League.

Inter is the underdog but i wouldnt put past them to s h i thouse 1:0 :classic_biggrin:

  7. You could won this season treble, and im not even joking :classic_biggrin: There still two matches and now you have easier than Bayern but yeah by all means this will be another memorable season after than one when you had few points off Bayern. Still, it could be worse as Leipzig even with their record against Bayern is third/fourth team in the country and Koeln is in top form it seems. Need to see the odds for Dortmund title. Something like 7-10 could be worth to gamble. Have a feeling you will lend a helping hand and fook around against Mainz or Augsburg though...

If only your board made some risky moves in January or summer. Even with healthy Haller you were two/three [RB/LB, DM since Ozcan flopped,WINGER/ATTACKER] first team guys short. Bringing Modeste was terrible mistake, even Stevie Wonder had seen it. You have money, even if not you could make some loans on account of Bellingham. Its was missed opportunity of the decade.

Next season it seem it will be Bayer that will push Bayern. I know i made this prediction once and its fall on its knees but if they keep Xabi [feel like if Zidane will not come third time Real could go for him] their squad looks very strong. They already secured Grimaldo and Xhaka. I dont care much for Xhaka but Grimaldo is immense, why he is signing with 2nd tier Leverkusen is beyond me [havent heard of any decline or anything every summer he was linked with top teams, maybe it was Xabi doing]. What i know he is too old for Dortmund as he is 27. Even if they lose Diaby they look strong, Grimaldo will be best LB of the league with like 15 assists.

I think old man will be a flop. I know he had his moments this season awarded by contract and world cup but he is constantly showing that his not consistent or not healthy/available enough for top team. Probably time to cash on him, some Crystal Palace could splash some 20mln on him like they did on that boy wonder from Schalke.

  8. Update from Buli-Ekstraklasa connection:classic_biggrin:

Like i said earlier Buli is now mostly priced out of Ekstraklasa bums. Now its Serie A/B and MLS. They just now missed on A.Skóraś from Lech Poznań who is going to FC Brugge for 7mln. There were some Buli clubs interessiert and even someone reported that BVB was eyeing him. As a squad player he would be ok probably but i dont he is ready for Buli or team like BVB. He was two years blocked by Kaminski so his development stale for a while and he is already 23. This is his first breakout season as even in last one he was mostly sub. Fourth sort of african-european players in Belgium [first is ENG,second and third Buli and Ligue] league could be good for him. Im pretty sure if he flop there next club will be in Buli.

Torhuter Kovacevic [Rakow] still linked with host of Buli clubs, but so far no one want to pay 10-12mln for a newly crowned polish champion. Maybe will help he switched national teams, from Bosnia to Serbia :classic_biggrin: He wasnt that good this season if you ask me but had many minor injuries.

RB Fran Tudor [Rakow] also attracts a lot of attention from Buli. Price is 2-3mln and even if he just penned new contract there is big chance he will leave with Augsburg leading the race.

Media link Legia Warszawa coach Kosta Runjaic with Werder job. This would be nice reward for whoever is there and saved them from relegation.

From my own backyard, Śląsk Wrocław need miracle to avoid relegation. The only one bright point of that dreadfull team is african-german John Yeboah. At first he was laughably bad at left wing, but when he switched to mittelfeld he is our best player. He was also playing in left wing/left back in Germany so its probably thats why he flopped there. There were some offers in winter and our geniuses asked for 2mln. Now if team will be relegated he will be available for free. He is on the radar on every Ekstraklasa team, but i think every team in 2nd buli will want him. Other german connection are Marcel Zylla, Bayern alumn and neuzugang from Hertha Dennis Jastrzembski. Both are absolutely terrible, with Zylla who just making first game cameo after more than a year [it wasnt injury, he was even regurarly subbed off in reserves team in 4rd league], and Jastrzembski might be the dumbest player in Ekstraklasa. I would not be amazed if he wasnt bullied in that team or something. Zero confidence and run like a headless chicken. Maybe he need to change position just like Yeboah...

German coach of Gornik Zabrze Bartosch Gaul was fired few months ago, their goalkeeper Kevin Broll went back to Dresden in winter with Podolski likely to stay another season.

  9. Guerreiro is for me :classic_biggrin:

Passing 100%  Schuss 100% Dribbling 75% Physical 45% Defensive 35% dont know what temp is Temperament??

Bellingham is a gamble sportswise, but certainly not financially. Even if he flops massively, hazardesque, there still will be someone in England to give 75mln in a heartbeat. What i mean gamble sportswise is that this season Dortmund could win everything! I do agree that team looks exhausted with some players beat to the ground but if Bellingham was really this generational player/leader he would at least help get past Chelsea, perform against Bayern/Leipzig/France or at the least fooking Bochum. The same Bochum when they played Wolfsburg, beloved by@WuDu  Kaminski looked like a world class player! Even german commentators made cracks at the game about 100k player from Bochum who is taking the ball with ease from 100mln one :classic_cool:

He is very much overhyped but i think he can be a good addition to a very good team, so when everything is going good he will help to win 5:1 but when pressure will be on his back he will be almost always anonymous. He still young and can make progress in that regard but with his attitude i dont think he will posess those abilities.

One last thing i see Dortmund's 22/23 season a little similar to Napoli one. Both teams could win everything and they both s h a t the bed in most important games [Napoli with Milan and Cremonese both teams with terrible seasons]. By all means we could easily have final Napoli-Dortmund if Osimhen/Kvarakshelia/Bellingham all of them was not overhyped to the moon. Ok at least Napoli could easily do final :classic_tongue:

  10. Happy Thomas Tuchel GIF by DAZN

Made a promise to myself to watch all the Dortmund games to the title. Well, thats gone fast. You get one early goal but when you equalise almost immediately and the result stays 1:1 fook me. Thats bad. There were some situations, maybe pen on Adeyemi [for me doubtfull, cause Adeyemi was looking for contact there but still no var was rather weird] but overally too little pressure from Dortmund for a team thats goin for the first title in 10years. Old man had two good occasions but after second one he was totally silent.

Was this off target header from Bellingham going where also the title will go? We will see...

  11. Yeah to me also Dortmund have tougher road. That said with Bayern form/turmoil the title is Dortmund's to lose. I dont think there will be better chance than this i really hope they can took it.

    Julien right know :classic_laugh:

Happy German GIF by RB Leipzig

He is the real winner here. So the Bayern was not happy with how the team was playing. Which is fine cause it wasnt great with some real stinkers along the road [Gladbach/Leverkusen]. The thing is they were still going for everything with perfect record in CL. I have no doubt City games would be closer [Upamecano was the architect of this and he was very good under Nagelsmann even earning WC place - minus calamity game at Gladbach of course], the Freiburg lose would not happen and also Mainz/Hoffenheim would not happen. Would they won against Dortmund like with Tuchel, who knows, im rather sure they would not lose at minimum. Even firing him after thrashing against City would be wrong, after all this team is in transition after losing 40goals a season striker. I would understand firing him if he was some Hansi understudy, guy from Bayern reserves or whatever not someone you bring for 20mln for a long project. Its just doesnt make sense, it just feels personal. Kahn doest like Julien and thats it. And he we will pay for it with his job most likely.

The BVB is offering both Hummels and Reus a 1 year deal for 7-8 M Euro.

Both are terrible deals. For that money you have deciding players at least at buli level [pretty sure no one is earning that kind of money at RB/Leverkusen]. There is no place in Europe other than Dortmund where they could get 4-5, maybe MLS but lately they dont bring semi-retired barely alive guys. Your salary power is lower than Bayern's but the gap between you and the rest of the league is still big and you wasting this on two guys you will be using as a depth. Clear Hummels contract and bring two CDs for 3,5 each, same with Reus. Hell, Reus role [playing 10-15 games a season] could easily be filled by some u21 player. So you have freed 16mln of salary. Even one player for 10mln with 6mln salary would be better than those two. Its no brainer. But somehow im sure you will extend them both and one could get even two years! Its Bayerns masterclass that they offload damaged Sule and Hummels to you, and even earlier Gotze.

I know you like Brandt but i would offload him as well and after first good runde he just had [didnt see it against good teams though] you could even get some money for him from some desperate premier league/turkish side. That said i would extend him for 3/4.
