  1. Its a digital wonderland of six sided electrified snowflakes! 😍 And look at those tickets raining from the sky, i've only just noticed the detail in this photo from Unibet xmas land. And... are they outside, wishing upon a Unibet Christmas star 🌟⭐️💫 Very nice hand sir!
  2. Hey guys the live games are going ok I got to get better at tracking but I’m sure im up about £500 this month. I have a mental coach now and one thing we agreed is that I will use a stop loss limit. Because I spew chips on to roulette sometimes if I start losing! yesterday I won £700 at 1/2 today I lost £600 - but I never felt better , because this was the first test for my stop loss, and I effortlessly stopped after dropping 3 stacks. there’s only one thing better than the feeling of winning and that’s the feeling of great self control! cheers guys
  3. Omg I’m out of top 15 time to start setting my alarm again for these games!! Good luck boys !
  4. Hey guys. How's poker going? Hows your Christmas league going? Mine is going pretty decent I've cashed 2/3 so am very happy with that, as my goal is to win the shiny shark avatar. It's been fun playing so far, and I enjoyed popping into Discord the other day and chatting with some players there. For me that's one of the main attractions with poker the social aspect, so I am looking forward to popping into Discord a bit more. I also won a hexa ticket as part of the Christmas league promotions, and managed to convert that into a 250 euro prize! Which is just great on top of Christmas, and feels like a lucky present from poker 🙂 I'm deciding what to do with that now, and the choices are, either: 1) Use it to start a live qualification campaign off and running and start grinding the 10's with a view to winning some seats to live events, or 2) Find someone nice I like and buy it, so I have that present to remind me about the league when I use it or think about it in future. A nice decision to have to make! I'm edging towards using it as a bankroll for live qualification but will keep you posted. Live poker is going very well for me, I also played some live roullete lately and very luckily also managed to walk away in profit, despite losing at several times in the game. So all in all, things are going very well here. My dad is also home from hospital now, and we're hoping for a decent recovery! Here's to a strong weekend on the tables guys, have a great weekend!
  5. Thank you 🤩 Yes for sure I only deposited €20 to play the Xmas league and was up about 65 euro from the Xmas tournaments , all I’ve played is the Xmas tournaments and that hexapro this month 🙌🎉🎄
  6. Ah nice. Once upon a time a lucky poker player decided to join the Unibet Christmas league. lucked out and won a fifty euro hexapro ticket. Then lucked out again and won the hexapro tournament! Two important hands: 🙌 thanks Unibet Community! After I win the software ask me to make a review good timing 🥰
  7. Woohoo thank you sir! And congrats shobolanul
  8. Good game tonight guys and great chatting with @SShcherbyna @Purps and @Stubbe-Unibet in discord - have a good night amigos!
  9. I got to say I love this. I work hard to be good at poker and I’m sure many do, but one of the things that has always attracted me to Unibet Poker is its for players by players. And that’s not just a phrase but means something. That’s why so frequently when there are issues they are resolved fairly (with accounts etc) and it’s why when I see something like this, that is giving everyone a fair chance of winning a prize even if they can’t play every day of the month or are the next best poker player in the world , it reminds me why this is my favorite poker site. It also make me humbled and feel fortunate to be a part of such a good community.
  10. Hey guys, quick update my dad is still in the hospital, but stable which is good. He's had not one, not two.. but FIVE serious infections in the last six weeks requiring hospitalisation! Anyway, he's stable and we're doing our best to get him the best care and try to get him better as soon as we can. He's a fighter which is helping! Reason for this post is my friend managed to convert his 250 ticket for a Unibet Deepstack Open (is that what they're called?) and consequently I've learned that these exist. I thought when I read malta is likely the last Unibet Open, that would be the end of Unibet live tournaments... but now am realising maybe I was wrong? Can someone tell me a bit more about these deep stack tournaments, are they replacing the original UO? are they planned on-going? I'll be having a go at qualifying for one of these, as I see they are running until the middle of next year currently, so that's great, and means my hopes of getting to a live Unibet event and seeing some of you are still very much alive!
  11. Looks lovely! Looking forward to joining in a few of these and enjoying the banter and community!
  12. Hey guys I had a go at qualifying for Bucharest and also roped my friend in but unfortunately it wasn’t to be. My friend actually won 4 €250 tickets but didn’t manage to convert any. I didn’t win one but did win a few 50s , unfortunately my dad has been unwell lately and is currently in hospital. So I had to prioritize and get to the hospital instead of playing so I withdrew my remaining bankroll of €150. if there are any more Unibet opens I’ll try again for sure , if not I hope to meet you guys at another live event sometime. if you’re going to Bucharest, good luck ! Take it down!!
  13. Awesome hope you get it to my friend !and thanks for well wishes for my dad 🙏🙂
  14. The app I use is called TickTick, and it's brilliant. I spent quite a bit of time looking into apps before settling on this one. I was using Fantastical before, but it doesn't even come close to TickTick in terms of functionality and ease of use. What I really like about TickTick is that it combines to-do lists with a calendar. Once you get the hang of it, it's very useful. The app allows you to categorise your tasks into folders, making it easy to click into specific areas of your life. For example, I have a folder just for health appointments, and another for dentist appointments. But what's even better is the flexibility it offers in terms of viewing your schedule. You can either look at tasks in their individual folders or see everything at a glance in the day view or calendar view. It's just really versatile in that way. Beyond that, the app has a host of other features like setting up timers for focus sessions and the option to use a Kanban view, which I enjoy. The cross-platform integration is superb, as it works seamlessly on my desktop, phone, and tablet. There are even widgets available for quicker access to your tasks. I can't recommend TickTick enough. Hope it works well for you if you try it out 🙂
  15. Hey i really like your style of playing long sessions, I used to love playing all nighters, but alas, seems the stamina has left me 😕 just got some nootropics to try maybe theyll help Im wishing you the very best for poker and life in the week ahead friend
  16. nice start to your blog, good luck for the week ahead!
  17. Hey guys hope your weekend is going good. Things are tinkering along ok here. Had some health scares for my dad again this weekend but he seems to be in the clear again now. I'm looking forward to him getting his health back so we can move past this, fingers crossed he's on the mend now! Satellites really didn't go very well for me this week. I didn't manage to get a 250 ticket, and despite winning a few 50's wasn't able to convert any into the 250's. I am conscious of the time running out for the finals and perhaps I've left it a bit late, but still 3 finals left. Foolishly I decided to nip into the HUSNG's to make a quick 50 euros.. to top my 200 euros up so I could enter the main event final sat today as a friend is also playing in it (who I'm planning to travel with). Well of course, I lose my 200 euros. I've re-deposited and learned the mistake. I didn't tilt but I did get too careless with my mental discipline. I played a 50 euro since and didn't cash so that's the main even final out of the picture for me today. But hey tomorrow is a fresh new week. I'll be grinding the 10's exclusively with the cash bankroll now and will only play a 50 or higher if I win a ticket for it. Also new rule... no more anything, except UO satellites! Cheers guys - enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
  18. hey mate looks like you're balancing a fair bit there, so no wonder your poker volume took a bit of a hit, did you get a new bonus on Monday? How's your week started?
  19. Nice one, congratulations , good luck for Sunday!
  20. Hey guys how are you all doing? It's been a while but I finally have a bit of time to update here, which I'm happy about, and I'm also happy to be able to spend some time reading here, because I also want to get to know the community regulars again so I can see what you guys are upto so look forward to spending a bit of time each day catching up with your own blogs. It's been crazy busy here, and alot of that is due to my dad's poor health. About six weeks ago he went into hospital with a bad leg infection. Was discharged then had to go back a week later. Was discharged and had to go back 12 hours later! The whole thing has been pretty exhausting but I've really made sure all the consultants are on top of things this time around and think at last he might be ok when he comes home, he's coming home today! Which is how comes I finally have a bit of time to update my blog here, my brother is picking him up from the hospital. Before today I've spent 3 hours travelling and visiting him in the hospital every day for about a month! 😴 Poker wise I've stopped playing live for the time being as I want to focus on trying to qualify for Bucharest. I've played about 10-12 10 euro satellites and have won: 2 x 50 euro tickets, and 1 x 10 euro ticket. And I have 224 euros left in my cash bankroll at the moment. My plan is to keep playing the 10 euro satellites which is what I've been playing and then play the 50's and hopefully bink a package at some point in the next 4 weeks. The last qualifer for Bucharest is 4 weekends away, which means there are four opportunities to try to cash the final satellite. Now I have a bit of work to do between now and Sunday to win a 250 ticket, but I'll be doing my best. I really like the frequency of the Satellites as the ten euro's start at 16:10 UK time, and then there are six in total including the last one of the night which starts at 23:40. So I think there's plenty of time to get 50 euro tickets, but the key is going to be converting the 50's into 250s. The 50's run just twice a night as far as I can see, and they are at 17:40 and 20:05. Im not going to play any 50's today but will start playing them from tomorrow, as I need to try and get a 250 ticket for Sunday! Today I am going to convert one of my 50 tickets back into 10's and have another full session of the 10's, in the hope of securing a few extra 50 tickets. I made a new friend recently who I met when playing live cash games, and I've told him my plans to qualify for Bucharest and we're going to go together if I qualify which will be nice. He is going to download the Unibet client in a few days and try to qualify himself. 🙂 Lately with the hospital visits going on I found myself getting kind of stressed and I finally realised I had to sort my organisation out, because I wasn't managing my time very well at all! As a result I really got to grips with the todo-list and diary app that I bought a while ago (tick tick) and its been a huge help! Here's today's schedule. I've set the 10 euro satellites up as recurring daily appointments so I don't miss any. Just sitting in a coffee shop taking a quick timeout before heading home and getting ready for tonights grind: Speaking of tech stuff, I got myself a new monitor a few weeks ago so now have a lovely 32 inch monitor. Wow it makes such a nice difference and I'm enjoying playing poker on it, and also coding, as I'm getting back into coding and have big ambitions there. It's also great for consuming some netflix, and poker training content. Hope you're all doing good my friends, good luck at the tables!
  21. Final question! I should have thought these out before posting sorry! when the last qualifier runs on 19th will the usual generic qualifiers continue to run in the weekday at same frequency (for the future events) or do the frequency of the steps qualifiers change between one event to another?
  22. Also similar question if there are no more qualifiers running for an event (e.g last qualifier for Bucharest is on 19th November) are you allowed to swap remaining tickets you have for entry into the main event ? so say you have €1100 in tickets , would it be possible to have the tickets cancelled and secure the buyin to the main event if you haven’t already qualified? just asking both above questions as there are just four Sunday main qualifiers left if I’ve counted correctly and if I haven’t qualified by then I might be interested in either of above two options (providing I’ve actually got any tickets left by then😀)
  23. Hey Unibet, just wondering if it’s possible to exchange tickets up, so for instance if you have 5x50 tickets, can you exchange them for a 250 ticket?
  24. Hey just checking can you still exchange tickets downwards in 2023 ? I’m thinking of grinding some satellites for Bucharest Ah scratch this I just found the exchangers thanks cheers
