Finally, took a grinding to get those pocket aces twice.

3 last MTTs - 3 great chances: First 44$ PLO8 PKO 12k prizepool - lead with huge stack before break and around 1/100. About 10 minutes later bust after 3 times in a row opponents scoop every single pot with me hunting great bounties with decent odds. Second this one, not so nice FT-bubble flip: At least got mincash from that while being minstack during near-bubble play. Last but not least (I guess), two setup flips in a row (getting few pushes through would make all the difference) in a very tight final table which was lasting ages 7-handed where opponents were money-scared: At this hand opponent would've folded lots of hands so best chance to push here but setup'd. Somewhat close but no cigars, and not even good cashes or points 😕

No air today at huge spots. VPIP 100% megastack opponent cold calls small stack (like always before) and has a setup against my 66. At that spot gotta go every time against him. No matter though today, if hands would have been other way around I would lost any case. 120bb stack at that spot would have been ultra sweet spot at that table. Well, got some bounties... And got my starting stack tripled at the Fofty with nice donations. Gotta go hunting aces at NL4: South Korea only left when I got my 10 bounties full today.

Thursday Nightmare. When you have 1 table running before second break and not even that is deep (and used 2 buy-ins to slobbwhatever) you know you've run bad. With 500+€ of buy-ins and 0€ cashes it's gonna be rough day (100€ worth of bounties though). Fofty and Bullet to go (and Title with a small stack), really would need trophy from one of them. Return to last week, unfortunately: great starts, horrible moment around 10 minutes ago busting them all and in the end 2 very small mincashes (7th PLO and 19th Battleground, 30€ each) with bubbling at Title Fight when I first lost bounty flip with JJ < KJ and right after that I shove pocket 7s at the button and blinds wake up with KT (trips) and QQ. Just 25€ bullet going on now, which is still in late registration. Getting more drinks 😞

Terrible start -> again bottle of rum -> highest buy-in event goes down KK < A7 followed by JJ < Q8 -> but last event brings a nice trophy. My liver might well break down before Sunday at this rate.

Simply horrible week with little games when it comes to results. Games are soft though... just problematic to concentrate on them occasionally Last one pretty much nailed it at the bubble for 100€ ticket when opponents had 3 flips including 33 > 77 (quads) and my first was my last as I had little chance to grasp chips without flipping at active 4-handed table. Hopefully next week is better. Probably trying to play more O8 events than before and all high events from Unibet. Good value satellites when got less than 4 tables. Yesterday just few games, but also took on grinding of that challenge (600 flops at total in cash games for missions France, Spain and first part of Belgium) while watching twitch stream. Still ultra boring stuff, I don't understand people who prefer cash games (for fun). Rest of the missions are easier, with less time consuming cash games. 100 PLO flops and Hexa tomorrow and I'll just have G and H left. Not really worth the hassle, but hope that long grind get rewarded at the lottery :D About break-even with disappointing 7th place from Stack and 9th place from NLO8 PKO with smallish buy-ins (mainly just used 50€ tickets at top of those). Not sure if playing much today: it can be either long grind (should rake 50€ on other site too), or just using 50€ tickets or skipping altogether to get some rest before Monday.

No poker on Friday either. Put electrical heat battery on and slept over 12 hours so might well play today. Bit expensive though with current prices of electricity :D I would actually have potential grind challenges on Unibet and another site if poker mosquito bites.

Sleep again, this time 18-03. Not exactly what I was thinking, but still time to "fix it" before next week. Should play challenges through, just 700 flops at cash games (lowest level of course) isn't tempting. Maybe some braindead stream with some drinks during this weekend? Few thoughts about new schedule from last week, been thinking about writing my thoughts: Positives: - Tournaments are over usually by 02:00 (Finnish time, 01:00 CET) - Most events have a nice runtime, not overly long - Leaderboard is in place - Satellites had nice overlay - Lower rake for PKOs - At least last 2 R/A's left do help to fill the late session: old Titan and Multiverse Negatives: - Last week virtually no overlay - 20:30 25€ PLO PKO with its structure is pain in the ass, as it starts super deep (PLO 200bb deep with no antes) and takes lots of concentration from other MTTs (would be much better without PKO imo.) - PLO PKO is part of the problem that I have that @ 21:05 you have certainly at least 4 tables running even with just playing high events (Title Fight, PLO PKO, 100€ event, 25€ PKO and often 25€ stack) - no room for other events or satellites while all of those are at early stage - Leaderboard structure: it is very topheavy, with point system awarding (just 8 high events counted for high LB) high €€€ scores while ignoring good success but without lots of 1st places especially on larger MTTs. Since overall winner usually wins or top3's high LB prize structure is like 2500-800-700-600-500-400-300-200. - RIP R/A's - Higher rake for re-entries and remaining R/A's. Honestly I would probably make 25€ PLO re-entry and add 10€ or 25€ PLO PKO as major for late evening with 100bb starting stack and turbo structure (maybe 23:30, 35 min before session saver). Of course I would also like to see some successful R/A's back (mainly one slower 25€ R/A and bunch of nice 5€ and 10€ turbo / hyper R/A's all around the schedule), but it's not likely.

Last evening I was tired when Title Fight was about to start: I chose sleep over poker. Probably a good idea, since it was almost 9 hours of deep sleep. This week is overall LB wise dead, but I probably still play at least few days. Using tickets + keeping in touch. Not taking much stress over playing this week, as plan to play full week next week (or at try to do it).

Did get some sleep so decided to play, waking up just to register all high events. But horrible flip runs from the start, so played just high events (last 2 via late registration) for -325€ of those. Flip satellites been running horrible too, but that's variance. Nasty though. Played one jokey 5,5$ PLO8 hyper, won it. Well, one 100€ buy-in back from there 😄 Not sure if playing tomorrow, but still got some tickets and smashing my head against wall with flip satellites so will probably be playing at least some days this week. Though might concentrate on resting and trying to get full week of games next week.

16th at the high leaderboard. Didn't go as planned. Yesterday was a meeting of Finnish poker players association. Ended up being fun night at bar, so skipped poker yesterday (freeroll value missed 😞 ). Probably playing today as got tickets to use, unless I sleep in the evening: wake up 8 am after just about 5 hours of sleep when snowplough woke me up.

So over 500€ buy-ins, got back maybe bit over 10%. Simply put, horrible end of very bad week. 0 chance in hell, even if opponents come in with btm20% they always run even through aces. I did play well, opponents played very poorly but with Sunday Shitday going on it doesn't help. Deckread being best read: 25 PKO megachiplead pot, nice bet-call OOP into 2 pot left to that flop (never gonna get rid of it at PKO as most hands opponent come in are far behind): Shitnova special, first nice setup 3-bet call flop only action betting 19bb at the river and ofc there was Kh: Followed later with near-ITM suckout -> flip -> nocash. At least first time house player not outdrawing me (6€ worth of bounty):

Poker is so dead, can't just score wins at MTTs with equally interesting opponents though. Pushed button, SB cold called (10 left 2 seats).

No trophies though they were very close, but best day so far: 5 final tables, out of which 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 6th (10€ re-entry ten-spot) and 6th (NLO8 hyper PKO). Got bit over +1k€ day which makes this week marginally profitable before Sunday. Too bad leaderboards are dead with these runs, it would require trophies with current point system which is topheavy and calculates only X top results. Probably getting some points from High leaderboard though (not even top50 at low, though have skipped like half of the events).

Without complaining things never get better, so no 🤣

Too much gin last night / morning. It is most deceiving drink, tasting good in mixed drinks and causing nasty hangover. Been playing badly today, though runs haven't been good either. Earlying PKOs, busting them quick, no re-entry and lateregging regular MTTs (easier to play shortstacked) so looks like -200€ day today. No other MTTs today. Leaderboard gone to hell, but at least I tried :D

I really hope that that Buttigieg will be president. At least he won't be making such a mess with some dress like Bill Clinton (which I consider best president of USA in my lifetime) did. Though it didn't matter with Clinton. Neither should Buttigieg's personal preferences. We are past that.

While Biden is like "1%" to reach presidency Trump isn't far away either. He's too old, and too weak. DeSantis is better, but hopefully US can choose more centrist president this time. And I really hope that democrats can find a new president. #Buttigieg24
