What a day. There's a roulette promo on another site. Or actually on 5 of their sites. Bet 2€ for number (8) and get 10€ money if you hit. Once a day. So it's about +40€ value each day. Gotta take it. Today over 200 rounds in a row without 8 - over 1000€ lost. And counting, since haven't hit yet. Despite taking it bit safer than most and lowering variance by playing these at 2 different spots (2 sites and 3 sites). Lottery satellites with overlay and this promo are well +EV, but they're grinding my bankroll down at ridiculous rate.

El Grande Sunday Catastrophe Super horrible day, start was sort of "use maximum re-entries and bust them quickly anyway" like PLO one had 4 entries used before first break. So very expensive day in terms of buy-ins, especially as flip satellites run again like -400€ today with 100€ flip sats running with 0 tickets. Got two major chances to redeem session in the end, but after horrible inferno busted Fofty at 8th place for effective mincash and 1/6 -> 5th place at 25€ Bullet. No help for leaderboards either, but gonna get some scraps from high and low. In the end: quite horrible week which was very close to be excellent (it is small difference how you run between 8th and 5th places and trophies). But 8th place pays 10% of that what trophy pays. One trophy isn't enough at the leaderboards, even with bunch of other FT finishes. Most of the profit at the games were sucked out by flip satellites which did go like -1000€ while EV is about +300€. Well, at least I can honestly say I did run bad there! Overall result for the week is very slightly positive, probably like +600€ and whatever scraps comes from leaderboards.

I guess fields are forced to get smaller as people qualifying for phase 2 have little incentive to play more phase 1's.

Well, today was utterly dead with zero chance (as a snowball) in a hell at texas events. Just mincashes at 25€ re-entry and 5€ PKO. One PLO8 turbo with 16,5 buy-in and trophy from there (just 244$ though) did save horrible session to break-even though. On Sunday we go at terrible spot at leaderboard-wise - would need like 3 trophies from high events to grasp overall but let's see how it goes.

Haven't seen Phil Hellmuth around. So I am.

Lots of chances, but bigger ones were sucked out. 6th place from Fofty was disappointing, but managed to fight two smaller trophies today. With few re-entries just 300€ buy-ins and 1400€ cashes, so first good day of this week.

Another bad day. Title Fight and some 10€ games had good chances, but got just small mincashes. At least got 150€ worth of bounties from Title so probably about break-even or slightly losing day. LB's are dead, pretty hopeless to even try to win overall with 1st place so far away (would need to win two large-field high events to even get near 1st). Low is 45th and running down (deepish places alone won't help) and high is 14th, similarly running down. Would need one trophy for each to win something and at least two for each to fight for top spots. For rest of the week probably gonna play some low events, all 25€ and 50€ events, skip 100€ events in hope of gathering some tickets for later weeks (though its seems hard as haven't won regular satellite in ages, always critical flips going like this): Unless I feel great in weekend and find some nice party to go outside 😄

Bubble from 250€ supermoon sat and 77 < AJ 27 left for almost 2x avg. stack pot @ 50€ Fofty. Horrible day, about 500€ buy-ins and one mincash worth less than 30€. Just Bullet going on out of which late reg just closed. Thought about opening a little bit of LB calculations to @mathew1982and other potentially interested people and why in my view 4th place isn't good for leaderboard, especially without trophies (cash was okay, though just 16x buy-in at the MTT which in average eats 2 buy-ins) : For sake of clarity: Let's take High event with 100 players. Low events pay so few points that I skipped them all last week as they don't usually make a difference at the overall LB. (1,5*SQRT(n)/SQRT(k)*b) + 1 Missä k = sija, n = pelaajien määrä, b = kiinteä sisäänosto (low = 1, high = 5).) 1st place gives 76 points 4th place gives 38,5 points 4th place sounds good? Well, it isn't really as only 8 top scores are counted for high leaderboard and while top 20 scores are counted for overall, it requires VICTORY (or rather victories) at other MTTs there for 4th place to have any real matter. Generally LB grinder should get 8 high MTTs (especially with re-entries) at least ITM. Cutting point might be around top12% (12th place) which gives ~ 23 points For overall, maybe cutting point it would be top30% (note, re-entries and 47 high events each week) - so 30th place - giving ~15 points So effectively this means that: 1st place gives 53 points for High LB and 61 points for Overall LB 4th place gives 15,5 points for High LB and 23,5 points for Overall LB ... this in addition to "guaranteed points" since you're gonna lose 9th / 21st best result of your weekly streak. So you just get fraction of effective points by 4th place finish in comparison to 1st place finish. I did win 3 high major MTTs with about 100 players each last week, and was still quite near to lose overall leaderboard. And even high one was quite close. One lost heads-up in any of those 3 would've costed me 1st place in both. So one 4th place won't help a bit without trophies - I am not even at the top10 of high leaderboard right now despite quite many deepish runs. And it requires top7 finish to even get 300€ from High Leaderboard (which is less than one day buy-ins). I've been saying all the time that this promo (overall especially) spiritually is winner takes it all - and it was quite the same earlier due to only ITM points mattering. It's not necessarily bad - I don't like it though, but that's the spirit of the leaderboard game this time. I was thinking before promotion that I have 20%-25% odds to win overall LB by playing whole week, but it's probably lower. Maybe 15% or bit less. And I still think I got the best shot to win it from any Unibet players playing this - but winning enough MTTs to grasp overall LB is very tricky and highly volatile as there are so many decent (or lucky) opponents who are trying the same. Busted last one while writing this. No chance in any 60-40 flips today.

Bit problematic stuff that I have lots of 50€ tickets, while all other tickets are draining up. No 25€ tickets, no 100€ tickets. I understand they were pushing for Title Fight but now that it is quite stable it would be good to have a chance to change them into 25€ or 100€ tickets in case other satellites run uneven. So gotta play Fofty to use those (and of course it is important for LB too in case my inferno stops), but I might late reg it instead to take a short break. Just got push-fold stacks at last ones. Bit torn apart using very late re-entries at the Title Fight. Without overlay it is quite badly -EV in terms of direct EV, though boost chances in leaderboard (which are though unlikely to pay very well). Gets to use tickets too.

No saving from this either. Title Fight has been running horribly, closest to fix it but my push was called pretty lightly by tight player (though not necessarily horrible since I have big bounty). Crappy day, which could've been super awesome.

Got some points:

Back to bad runs. Got some medium-sized chances, but TT < KQ into 11th place at 25€ Stack and KQ push at SB met BB AK for another 11th place at 10€ freezeout. Third mincash from 25€ turbo. Was quite tired, as I had to wake up due to cleaning service + still sick (was drinking tea instead of Coke during this session, with some honey rum). Didn't play badly but not at my best form either. At least it is clean here now 😄 Trying to play this week. After all, if I am sick it is better to do something at home and brood instead of just brooding. Possible skipping some 100€ events as got 0 of those tickets right now.

Fourth bad day in a row. Which is worsened by lottery satellites running around 400€ under EV just during last two days (playing about all of them, but ticket count has withered). Had good runs, but they ended up being 2 mincashes (25€ re-entry and 50€ PKO), 1 nasty bubble (herks had limped, big stack coming any2): Some bounties though that not huge loss to regular games even though liberal use of re-entries. I don't know if it is being battleweary, but regs have started playing badly and other players are doing stuff like this regularly, so value is there. Busted last... nasty losing day. Gotta hope tomorrow is bit better - runs were horrible while game was good. Wasn't sure about that as slept right until games started. Saturday and Sunday would need good scores. Preferrably two larger field trophies, which should be enough to 1) win overall and 2) make week well profitable even before leaderboard prizes. After horrible first week of grinding would be good to have result-wise brilliant week now. My plan has been to play many weeks (also got 50€ tickets for next week too) but gotta see how this goes. If I play whole next week I would probably skip most of the games on week 50 and try to grind 51+52). Result-wise this week has been decent (two good days, two bad days and one horrible) but been very consuming. Gotta try to find some balance between poker grind and freetime, this week it has failed.

Finally, took a grinding to get those pocket aces twice.

3 last MTTs - 3 great chances: First 44$ PLO8 PKO 12k prizepool - lead with huge stack before break and around 1/100. About 10 minutes later bust after 3 times in a row opponents scoop every single pot with me hunting great bounties with decent odds. Second this one, not so nice FT-bubble flip: At least got mincash from that while being minstack during near-bubble play. Last but not least (I guess), two setup flips in a row (getting few pushes through would make all the difference) in a very tight final table which was lasting ages 7-handed where opponents were money-scared: At this hand opponent would've folded lots of hands so best chance to push here but setup'd. Somewhat close but no cigars, and not even good cashes or points 😕
