Got to year 2012, which features a page or two of me at almost all magazines (was playing $10k live package won from one site freeroll series, used it to play low-midstakes tournament serieses and also wrote blog for them). Nostalgic stuff. Few games, and last night some super nasty 88 < Q2o bubble for super chip lead at 31,5 Banzai Bounty. Deadline for Master's Thesis is 10th of May. Bubbled 530$ ticket with AQ < AJ, had double KK < ATo flips @ 50 R/A and ended up with 0 cashes (some bounties) and one 109$ ticket. Demoralizing runs at higher games. Playing with stocks more nowadays. Been buying stocks for about 70k€ during last two weeks. Of course with loaned money. GÄMBÖÖL! Still far less debt leverage than my friend has, just feel like it is great time to invest to (mostly Finnish) picked value stocks when fears are high and people are selling while stock returns are goods and Finland is likely losing some of its edge market discount when we join to NATO. Been quite hard to adjust living after Master's Thesis. Very hard to relax, haven't been able to give myself time to play computer games. Drinking more than usually and sleep patterns go all around, gotta find something better to do. Should also really lose some weight (or at least not to gain any more). Maybe some walking challenge? Farseer Posted June 1, 2022 Author Share Posted June 1, 2022 Master's Thesis: approved. Pretty much as expected, second lowest approved (0-5, got 2) grade. Returned it somewhat unfinished, so would've got 1-2 grades better result if would have finished it, but better to have approved Thesis and finished studies as it's been hell to concentrate on such work. Last 2 years have been very difficult to concentrate on anything, so getting approved Master's Thesis was more than expected. Poker: running bad. Got 109$ ticket and 1050$ ticket from satellites, but no luck @ PKOs. Casinos / sports betting run bad as well, probably around break-even this month. Maybe bit more during summer - maybe not. Just going to play if I feel I want to. Been drinking and partying quite much and plan to do so during summer though trying to move a bit as well. Maybe changing my computer setup now, got a "new" computer (bought 1,5 years ago) so might install that one now. Played handful on big buy-ins, 50€ R/A bubbled after crashed into pocket aces twice in a row. Not a huge win, but feels great after quite a long streak with no good-sized trophies. Today going to hit the city and have fun. Maybe going to play some higher-stakes again tomorrow, maybe starting with good value satellites to Supernova and Supermoon. No runs, and last running 50€ R/A AGAIN bubbled, this time hitting QQ v AK flip just before the money at top3-pot. Nasty, would've paid almost 3k€ for winner. Variance is quite nasty when playing with like 50€ ABI. Bit problematic to find motivation for small and slow MTTs like Gorsky and Sputnik (5€ R/A which last ages) so been playing bigger rebuys, alongside some Banzai Bounties and fast-paced NLO8 / PLO8's, usually with PKOs. Quite nasty variance at these, but playing for 4 hours for 100€ top price just doesn't motivate me. 5€ Multiverse is much nicer, with 250€ 1st place and 2 hours (max) running time I always play it. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Last night had like 5 MTTs just a flip from cash (usually with nice stack), didn't win any of those. 55$ Banzai Bounty with AA vs. JJ vs. AT was last one, river J. Really hard to concentrate, so probably not grinding in June. Just playing few quick MTTs if up for it, not playing slow MTTs. Lots of overlay all over the place (one wonders why when weather is so good and warm, what the heck I am playing some 25€ PKOs and stuff?). Just going for a walk, instead of drinking (have been drinking my good boozes and new drinks are still on their way, hopefully they arrive before Midsummer Festival). On a bright side, one casino bonus did hit nicely. Still 2,5k€ to grind, but with +2,2k€ at the moment it looks like a solid +4-figs day. Nice to get some rungood at the casino. Gin is quite treacherous drink to me: it's easy to drink in drink mixes and actually gets me easily a horrible hangover. Not bad this time, just exhausted. Just playing these 3 (already busted first 2, no luck in flips) to get some points. Should've skipped this leaderboard, was worrying that with bad run I would have play all days while outside is a nice weather. First time getting problems sleeping inside (though it was bit cooler) last night due to warm weather. Gotta get my table fan from storage to cool my bedroom or sleep in the balcony next night (almost impossible due to sun lightning though. Yesterday got some chances, but two 8th places were no good as another was Neptune which was only top6 paid. Got enough bounties to climb up at the leaderboard though and make it about break-even day.
