Today i'm trying the €25 SNGs, and till now i find the games equal to the €1 SNGs aka just wild and unreal, i can't believe what i see. I'm so happy. Thank you. monkeyheaven Posted January 23, 2018 Share Posted January 23, 2018 Looks like it’s going well, see you at the 25s later today. Jump in standard of play from 10s to 25s is bigger than any other level. The regs seem to all play the same at 10s and make the same big mistakes over and over, this is much less true of 25s regs (the recs still play just as crazy). Also, I play every 25 that runs when I’m online, at peak time I’m not in many 10s so we probably haven’t played much. monkeyheaven Posted January 23, 2018 Share Posted January 23, 2018 Yeah that’s probably true at the 25+ games too, problem off peak is volume; 10s seem to get good volume most of the time, 25+ it’s a struggle outside of 1900-0000. My %ROI is probably higher in the afternoons because fewer regs, but my hourly is way higher in the evenings because my average buyin is maybe double what I can get in the afternoons. My rule to date has been not to coach people in my games, if you were playing the lower stakes still then I would, but I think we would run into each other too much at the tables. First session at the €25 SNGs and i'm pretty amazed i didn't make more than €14.59 because the players were just terrible, but what can you do, maybe i will do better tomorrow. In the MTTs i ran pretty bad, so in the €1000 Event Horizon was doing good till the last two hands KK < ATo and after i make a set on the turn with TT the AKs makes the flush on the river. #GG In the €2 - €100 Wormhole had under 10BBs and was on the BTN with K7s and i PUSHED, to bad the BB woke up with AA. #GG In the €1000 Black Hole i lost AKs vs 77 for a big chunk of my stack and a couple of hands later the same wild player took the rest of my chips with 74o vs my ATs. #GG And last the €1 - €100 Wormhole just annoyed 99 < AK. #GG Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

To by honest i forgot how it is when luck is not on your side. Today i got a brutal reminder at the €25 SNGs tables, everybody ran so hot vs me, when the chips got all-in, i lost all flips and when i had over 65% still lost everytime. They just hit 2-3 outers, made trips and sets, runner runner str8s and flushes like it was no big deal. May have tilted 2-3 buy-ins away. FU €25 SNGs, sooner or later im gonna conquer you. #RAWR After the luck spanking at the €25 SNGs with pain in my heart like i had a knife in it and water pouring from my eyes i dropped down to the €10 SNGs trying to rebuil and the bad luck continued, but somehow i managed to make a profit. #BlessRNG Now i'm thinking should i've quit after the first ten €25 SNGs when it was obvious the luck wasn't with me. @monkeyheaven Do you have a stop-loss? I mean when the games are so good and i get it in as a favorite i can't quit, right? Or i should take a break at 10 consecutive losses? I was asking if you see things are not going your way evan if you play good and the games are awesome what you to do? And im not affected in the sens omg it's a tragedy because its not i took a shot and played awesome but people pulled miracles on my. So i kinda had a confidence issue today at the €10 SNGs (was playing scared poker) i dont know why but it seems the savage run i had at the €25 SNGs the previous day screwed with my play and i dropped down to the €4 SNGs to get my mojo back, and i guess i'm gonna stay at the €4 SNGs for a while, till i feel confident enough to play my game again at the €10 SNGs.
