Brocky
I can only apologise for my lack of volume/streams/graphs in recent days; my sleeping pattern has been completely messed up for a start but I'm correcting that so should be back to normality within a couple of days. Volume is low during this time of day so I haven't been playing too much but I do promise to be better for the rest of the month!

Brocky
Hi @successlaw, I'm not sure yet. The games have become very reggy over the past couple of weeks and when you're downswinging it's hard to focus and I'm not sure I would want to give any info away that I probably don't need to. It's weird how the games have gone from so soft to completely reg filled. There's a reg at the 100s who just crushes me. I know how he plays but countering it when you're getting coolered or just missing flops is difficult. I'm definitely a bit lost at the moment. The 5k and 50k Hexapro jackpots went off while I was grinding them (4-6 tabling), I did about 1k at the 50s which is super tilting, basically everything that can go wrong at the moment is going wrong. I'm starting to question whether I've made a massive mistake doing all of this, my confidence is at rock bottom and I'm really feeling frustrated by it all. Unibet is supposed to be one of the last soft sites out there but it's becoming increasingly tougher and I think the 100s+ are filled with guys that are sharing the lobbies and potentially sharing bankrolls. For those of you not familiar, on Pokerstars there are cartels in the HUSNG world. This is basically where a group of guys team up and have 100% control of the lobby. They will all play anyone that sits until the guy who sits either quits or gets accepted into the cartel (generally based on a EV% from HEM/PT4). The power of having X number of guys sit and control a lobby is you are battling what is effectively an infinite bankroll and you're playing regs every single game for weeks or months. I suspect something similar is happening on Unibet but I may be wrong. The answer to this is to either move down so they have total control or you play them until they get fed up with playing you. Ultimately though a 300/500s reg or a few of them are going to have ridiculous bankrolls and will not be fazed by a guy sitting them at the 100s/200s on Unibet. HUSNGs have become so solved to the point where edges are tiny between the best players resulting in huge swings either way. Hypothetically speaking if I were breakeven against these guys pre-RB I would need a monster bankroll unless I just ran super hot for a month or two, something which simply doesn't happen to me.Before anyone rolls out the whole "Just play the 25-50s then" line, I'm more talking about the state of the games above than my personal path. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, the 25/50s route is the most likely but I may also need to transition into something else or give up the dream entirely. I'm probably being slightly dramatic given the downswing but it's amazing how confidence works in poker. It'd be interesting to know exactly how many 100s+ regs there are but obviously with the blind lobby and alias changes it's impossible to know. Play styles are a good indicator but regs will generally play very similar to each other.
Brocky
Didn't really want to create a thread just for this @Patric-Unibet but if I hit 1.25m points before UO Sinaia, do I have to play Sinaia? I'm expecting to hit it sometime in Feb and obviously making plans will be more difficult last minute. Would I be able to defer it to London? Thanks.
Patric-Unibet
Hey @Brocky,deadline for challenges for Sinaia is this Sunday the 27th. Anything after will be for London already, the deadlines are always at least 2 weeks before the event.Postponing is not allowed (in case you'd end up making it by Sunday), however UO packages won through challenges can be exchanged for 100k bonus points + 250 EUR travel expenses (you'd lose the hotel+activities value). Thanks
Brocky
Thanks Patric. I won't make it by the 27th which is good although 1.25k is a good alternative, I thought it was just the 100k bonus points for some reason.
Brocky
Jeez, time flies when you're not playing poker. Since my last post it says 3 weeks but it feels like only a few days. I must admit that the downswing I've had in the past month equates to somewhere around 10k when you total Unibet, other poker sites, sports betting and a few casino games. It's horrible, I've not streamed a single session as a result, I've done everything I can to not play poker, I have no motivation and even since I've started playing again properly on Unibet the last few days I am aiming for purely financial goals over volume, which isn't good.Unfortunately there are bills to pay and the downswing has eaten a fair chunk of my bankroll obviously so needs must. I'm looking to just make anything from 100-200e per day but in the past 3 days I've only managed a pathetic 104 games. I just really can't be bothered anymore. I imagine (and hope) that I will feel different in due course but the mental anguish of downswings affect you with a complete lack of motivation and confidence. A month or so ago I'm sitting there thinking I'm going to crush anyone and everyone, today I sit here wondering if I can even beat the 25s. You start to question everything when you're on a long downswing, it feels like all of your bluffs get picked off, it feels like they never call when you have it and I likely fold too much at times because you get it into your head that they always have the goods. The plan is to just get through this rough patch mentally by grinding as few games as possible while still being able to support the household and until I'm feeling ready to be that guy that wants to play 200 games in a day. Anyway, without further ado:

Brocky
Not played that much in the last few days but a few 3x Hexapro wins have helped today. Here's the graphs since the last update and for the last week:Since last update:For the past week:Confidence slowly rebuilding. Still not feeling motivated but what can you do!?
Silver1
you can do other stuff outside of the table that builds up general motivation. Exercise, take a walk, hang out with friends, meet up with family etc. Do stuff that gives you energy and the motivation for playing will come along. GL GL mate:)
Brocky
@Silver1 I looked at signing up to a gym yesterday so I consider that my exercise done for the week 🤣 I think today is the day I delve into some 5 man SNGs and MTTs. I must admit I am utterly bored with heads up, nothing ever changes, even the player pool is so small I end up playing the same regs over and over again. I think without being arrogant my results at the 25/50s speak for themselves and I would have no issue making money in these games but it is hard to motivate yourself to battle regs for small edges when you're not wanting to play in the first place. I feel like I need some excitement to the game, whether that be the adrenaline of a bubble or going for the MTT wins.
Vegan4life79
I wouldnt quit the game i was crushing. Try to také a couple of weeks off and do something fun. Travel somewhere you always wanted to visit. Have a great time, then come back, open the poker client and realize that this is what paid for the good times. :)
