  1. Played 1,5h today, went well. One step closer to finishing the challenge. Here is my current BR: Spreadsheet with my progress: https://bit.ly/2Zv3td2 Good Luck to you all!!!
  2. Long time no see I played a bit more in december, had a pretty bad downswing, and I didn't put in the volume needed to finish the challenge. I had some insane sessions, losing with every strong hand, but then played a bit here and there and rebuild the br. A key takeway is that I didn't played a lot, but still produced close to 1k rake, meaning the rake at 25 is huge. Now I play 25 when I'm at my PC, and NL10 for fun sometimes from my chromebook (playing in browser, great update to the browser version now with the tiled tables). In January I didn't felt like grinding after that ugly downswing, but I still wanted to be engaged with poker, so I decided to start coaching. I have some students, and it is very satisfying to see that they are learning a lot and beating the games. For example, I started in January with a guys, his first contact with poker, he just learned the rules a few days before we started working, and now he is playing NL10 profitably in just 2 months. I will continue the challenge now (35 to 1k), coz of the virus, I will be working from home, so I can squeeze in a session here and there. My current BR is now at around 780 I didn't wrote in the spreadsheet every small session I've played, but they weren't a lot. Spreadsheet with my progress: https://bit.ly/2Zv3td2 Good Luck to you all!!!
  3. Hi guys, First of all, i wish you all a happy new year!!! I have a request to the mods, I have a Double Trouble ticket that will expire soon, but I can't play the tournament this evening being the new year's eve. Can you guys please extend it for me? Thanks a lot!!!
  4. @LeVsKaRa Thanks for the good wishes. I will definetely don't rush it. Yesterday I won 40E at Double Trouble, so my br is at ~635. What do you guys think about the coaching idea? Good Luck to you all!
  5. Hi guys! I've played a few sessions this weekend, nothing special happened, won some sessions, lost a bit then, I'm currently at ~595. To have some fun, I'm doing the Christmas Challenges, I'm grinding NL25 an hour here, an hour there when I feel like it, I really want to finish the challenge this month. After finishing the challenge, I tought about something to give back to the community. Would any of you guys playing micro and small stakes, be interested in a few sessions of free coaching? If you guys would like something like that, we can work out a competition or some kind of selection process. Let me know if you guys think you can use some coaching. I've seen guys grinding hard on small stakes, and it's a pitty they don't move up in stakes, there are so much more money to be made, just get a little bit outside of your comfort zone. Feel free to comment any suggestions. Spreadsheet with my progress: https://bit.ly/2Zv3td2 Good Luck to you all!!!
  6. @FreedoM on average I play 5 tables let's say, so after your calculations, I would need 50000/5*75=133.33 hours? Let's guess in hours played, because we can't really see the number of hands played. Or it would be better to guess the nr of flops?
  7. @psrquack don't know how many hands I play per hour. You are playing only NL4 cash games or higher stakes too?
  8. @psrquack yes, 5-6 I kept switching tables for table selection. Played 1h today, pretty standard session, nothing out of the ordinary. I will try daily to see 90 flops for Santa's challenge. Thanks Unibet for that promotion, it's easier to stay motivated to play daily if you have some promotion. What do you think guys, how many hours of grinding NL25 I will need to finish the 1k challenge? Leave your guess in a comment, maybe if there will be more guesses, I'll make a giveaway of some kind to the winner, don't know yet, I'm open to suggestions. Spreadsheet with my progress: https://bit.ly/2Zv3td2 Good Luck to you all!!!
  9. Played 1h, an ok session, good thing I finished in green this one, I'll try to keep playing as often as I can to finish the 1k challenge this Dec. Spreadsheet with my progress: https://bit.ly/2Zv3td2 Good Luck to you all!!! PS: Champions stand up one more time than the rest :Popeye:
  10. I had one of the worst sessions of my entire poker life. I didn't wanted to post anything now, I'm very dissapointed, I grinded 5:30, didn't tilt or spew, but ended up losing 280. I decided to make an effort and post imediately after the session, to let you guys know one more time that this things can happen, we need to look at this in the long run, there are no good days without the bad ones. I don't like to complain about bad beats but this session was insane. Managed to lose almost every hand with nuts, didn't win a all in preflop in the whole session. Ran 3 times KK in AA, 2x QQ in KK, lost AA<KK, KK<99, and a few standard flips. I should have closed the tables after minus 5 6 BI's, but they were so juicy, a lot of recreational players, and I decided to keep playing as long as I don't spew. I'm glad I've played well, probably not my A game the whole 5:30, but close to it. I will try to grind the 1kBR this december, stay tuned! Spreadsheet with my progress: https://bit.ly/2Zv3td2 Good Luck to you all!!!
  11. Didn't wanted to play today coz I'm sick, got the flu but I have a 10E cash tichet that was about to expire so I decided to play it. It was boring so I opened a few NL25 tables too. Lost a few stacks while going all in with nuts, was down like 100E at some moment, and I said I can't leave the tables defeated like this, all my last sessions were like the nike logo, losing in the beginning then recovering steadily :)) After 2 hours of grinding, managed to end in the green. Spreadsheet with my progress: https://bit.ly/2Zv3td2 Good Luck to you all!!!
  12. Good luck @fest_student , you have a very aggresive br management. How is your experience overall playing while drinking? I had only unfortunate events, so I separated completely drinking with grinding poker. Good luck with the challenge, I will follow.
  13. @FreedoM thanks, you too. I've player 2.5h, tables were kind of ok, could have been better. Very swingy session, was down like 100, but managed to turn around the session and finish in green :d Spreadsheet with my progress: https://bit.ly/2Zv3td2 Good Luck to you all!!!
  14. @FreedoM yeah, thanks for the observation. I know the nr of players is higher in the afternoon and in the evening, but unfortunately I can only play a few hours here and there when I have some spare time. And since I'm trying to play 4 tables, it doesn't really affect me much, I can get that nr of tables most of the time. And one more thing, in the afternoon and evening when the player pool is bigger, it's because a lot of regs are playing, I find the tables much softer in the morning for example, even if I can only get 3 tables of NL25 going, getting a better hourly than playing in the afternoon when a lot of regs are grinding. You playing cash game, and if yes, what stakes? Maybe we met at the tables.
  15. This morning I've played 1 hour, there were only 2 tables of NL25 so I had to mix in some NL10 tables too. It went ok, maybe I'll play an hour in the afternoon too, unfortunately this evening I can't play (the tables are crazy at night in the weekends) I need to go to a Bday party. One step closer to achieving the 1k challenge. Spreadsheet with my progress: https://bit.ly/2Zv3td2 Good Luck to you all!!!
  16. Since the last update I've played about 7.5hours, the tables were good but my run was terrible. In the last 2 sessions, I've lost every imaginable hand with nuts, for example in the last sessions lost 4 all ins preflop with AA < AKs, AA<QQ, KK<ATo, QQ<TT, but hey, that's part of the game, I can't complain when I 3bet KK, I got click 4bet and call to 100 bb shove with ATo :)) I'm very proud of my plays, even under this unlucky circumstances. I didn't tilted at all, played my A game and I managed to finish the session +37, keeping in mind that I was -120 after the first hour of playing :Rofl::Rofl: Let's hope for a better run the next sessions to finish the 1K challenge. How do you guys get over the bad running sessions? It might be interesting to start a topic on that, we might find out some valuable informations. Spreadsheet with my progress: https://bit.ly/2Zv3td2 PS: I might consider extending the challenge after the 1k, not sure yet, I'll think about it. Good Luck to you all!!!
  17. A quick update: I've played 2 hours this evening, tables were very juicy, I lost 2 flips out of 2, but after this session I can't complain. Spreadsheet with my progress: https://bit.ly/2Zv3td2 Good Luck to you all!!!
  18. @psrquack yes, I only play with 100bb. I know the rake is big at 25, but I prefer playing 100bb deep at 25, rather than 50bb at NL50. Plus, the field is better at 25.
  19. I've played a small session, some NL25 tables, and a few NL4 to clear the bonus. NL25 tables were not great today, a lot of regs. Spreadsheet with my progress: https://bit.ly/2Zv3td2
  20. Hi. Can I please get my results from 19-06-2019 until today?
  21. To get points i need to register here? https://streamlabs.com/davitsche And My username should be as my name in the community, or my username on uniber?
  22. @psrquack If you play small stakes like NL4, NL10 you can do them for sure, at upper stakes you might better just grind at your stake for a better hourly rate. But if you want to have fun, and try out new things, they are OK. You get to play a little bit of hexapro, some SNG, omaha flops, MTTS. It's a nice way to spend the time if you are bored, I enjoy doing the missions.
