  1. I wasn't going to reply because you clearly have mental deficiencies but my games are finishing up so why not.

"Brock the same reason Unibet won't deposit me €100 I guess mate, when their position changes and they become generous then i will reciprocate.. I am thinking of consolidating more behind Unibet regarding deposits, but there is just no incentive to deposit anything is there.. If they said to me deposit say €50 and wel'll double it cash, I would deposit now, but instead they want me to wager five time more than that to get 10 times less.. It's just not viable mate is it on those terms.."

Well the reasons are actually completely different.  If you deposit £100 then Unibet will allow you to also withdraw that £100, you haven't given them anything at this point.  You then have an option to play on their site of which they will charge a small fee for their services or you can choose not to.  If Unibet give you £100, then they are £100 worse off and you are £100 better off, for no reason other than you wanting free money?  You haven't offered them any reason to give you any money so it would be an awful business decision.

That brings me onto another point, they are a business not a charity.  We live in a capitalist country whereby companies pitch a service or product and we as the consumer choose whether to pay the asking price or not.  Poor quality services/products and/or prices that are too high will cause a business to fail, however Unibet's poker revenue is growing year on year, which is the sign of a successful product that the consumers are happy with.

With regards to a bonus, a simple look at the promotions page on the website shows they're offering 25% additional rakeback on €600 to what they're already offering (which can be up to 60%).  A player can therefore recoup 85% of their fees paid taking advantage of both.  Once again, it makes no sense for them to just give you cash simply for depositing because everyone would deposit then instantly withdraw.

"Look at Unibet's profits, and then go and look at my organisation's profits at Companies House Brock, then decide who is in the best position to be depositing to who"

Once again, they're a business.  If they redistributed profits back to players, especially ones that have never even raked on the site, what would be the point of even existing?

"I just hope I don't have to ask brock for any advice, because the snake wants to keep all his knowledge to himself in a support forum haha"

Not that I would expect somone looking to play 10 cent games to understand but the mid-stakes HUSNG pool is very reg heavy and giving free info to fellow regs, especially ones that I play against, such as @Dennis_, is -EV.  I did regret the comment I made saying he butchered a hand, it was just a personal opinion and I should've followed up with a reason but I've explained that to him privately.  Just because a forum offers support doesn't mean anyone is obligated to share their whole thought process on every spot, that would be the most counterproductive thing a reg can do and would just mean no reg frequents any forums.  If you want to think I'm a snake then I'm perfectly happy with that.  Oh if you even had half a clue of how your posts are being received in other channels.

  2. @EugenicistGates You're spot on as usual mate.  I really think my idea has legs.  The general principle is no buy in costs, therefore it caters to all players/doesn't promote irresponsible gambling and no prizes which means we don't spend more time than we should playing as you may well do were you to win lots of money.  I'm probably going to go above @Stubbe-Unibet and straight to the real bosses with this idea as Stubbe wouldn't know a good idea if it smacked him in the face.  I'll keep you updated, feel free to PM me and potentially we can take on all of the irresponsible sites, one at a time.

  3. Thanks @CuteRaven

MTTs are probably the least impacted by streaming but I think Hexas could be ok depending on how often you're playing the same regs.

With regards to the 25s, I don't doubt that I could sit here grinding 8-10 hours a day and beat them fairly comfortably but with smaller edges these days and a real boredom of grinding against regs, it's just not worth it for me. I need something fresh and that's why I'm transitioning into 6m hypers.

  4. I don't like to be negative about the situation or Unibet because having worked with Stubbe in the testing group I can't emphasise how many different things he's working on at once and he's only ever been good to me with anything I've needed, such as refund for disconnections or issues with suspected unethical/cheating players. That being said, I spoke Patric, Kris and Leo when I met them in Dublin at the back end of 2018 just before Hexas were introduced and I had just quit my job to grind HUSNGs where my rec traffic was about to be decimated. I told them my fears then and it looks like they've become a reality. SNGs are all but dead imo and I think the lack of promotions around them shows that Unibet are happy for the focus to go solely on high rake Hexas.

18 months ago I used to grind the 25s to print money variance free, nowadays it's just full of regs. I've seen many regs drop down from 50s/100s to 10s/25s, myself included. Add to that I've ran horrific at the 100s+ over the past year it's just culminated in me losing a lot of passion for HUSNGs and ultimately looking elsewhere. I tried the 5 man SNGs as mentioned above and I know from speaking to @Dennis_ that they're very reliant on him and 2 other regs playing otherwise they rarely run at the 25s+, plus too slow for my liking.

I'm not going to talk specifics about other sites here as it would be unfair but I am starting to believe that other sites are taking better approaches in terms of SNGs, traffic, rakeback, liquidity etc. I've massively enjoyed my time playing on Unibet (apart from the downswings!) and of course the community but for now I need to look after myself and play where is going to be most beneficial to me. I hope that I can come back and grind on here again but it won't be under the current format (would need some seriously lower rake on Hexas or HUSNGs I think). I also miss streaming, it's something I really wanted to get into regularly but with the information I was giving away it became massively -EV for me.

GL to everyone! Feel free to PM me for info on where you can follow my progress.

  5. Hey, thanks for the message. I used to think Unibet was the softest site but as you say the games have become very reggy and at the 25s the RB is around 15% which is pointless. I’ve been playing some $10 6 max hypers on Party as the 5 mans on Unibet are generally too slow for my liking and although I’ve only been playing them 3 days I’m #1 ranked on Sharkscope for April 🤣

  6. Well it's been a while.  I'm too tired to write a really long blog post but I have all but hit a wall with heads up.  I tried splitting action between Party and Unibet but I've just been running so horrifically bad that volume has been awful and motivation is at an all time low.  Toyed with the idea of MTTs for a while but decided to give the 5 man SNGs on Unibet a whirl for now.  Started at the 10s tonight, 9 tabling.  The new time to act is making it really hard though, was timing out all over the shop.

    Good session to start with:

Obviously ran good to cash 51% of games but definitely ran bad heads up.  27bi profit not to be sniffed at.  Will be back at it tomorrow!
