Really can't be bothered to play or update the blog.

I'm 1 out of 14 in £100+ pots and brick every MTT I play. Volume suffering, mood suffering, everything is just shit when you can't win at poker isn't it. Gave up on the winter series. The only good thing that has come from this downswing is that I haven't punted at highstakes after losing every day for 3.5 weeks. What a shit game this is.

I hope you realise that what I am saying is direct but not intended to be mean or spiteful. Your preflop hand selection is atrocious. Why are you in a hand with 3568 or J249? These hands are probably folds HU with the rake at micros let alone playing them from MP. You are drawing dead on omaha tables unless they are all whales. In which case you're just playing roulette with cards.

I think the upswing bonus prize is an excellent idea, way better than getting a TV or some other appliance that will go obsolete in 3 years. The knowledge you gain from that membership will make you way more than 1k if you are serious about poker.

Played 8 hours of cash and 4 hours of MTTs yesterday, -£35 in MTTs and won on the cash games.

Biggest pot : I 3b and CRAI'd on the flop.

So far this month I am 0/8 in 500+bb pots and 1/10 in £100+ pots. It's hard to win when you lose all your profits in the big flips. Hopefully it isn't as cold at the tables for everyone else.

Bad day. Biggest hand I played was a real interesting one. I've played about 1.5mil - 2mil plo hands and I don't usually cold call 3bs OOP when I'm super deep - and definitely not 4bets. Unless, there are very specific conditions.

I still don't know if my preflop call is OK but vs the extremely AAx heavy range i gave both opponents I think it is +EV. History: I've been playing at the table for about 4 hours, opener is tight, 3better range is AAx and the 4better is a winning TAG reg who is aware of the 3betters range as very AAx heavy so will be expecting to face lots of 5bets if he 4bets and they are not deep enough for him to start 4betting non AAx vs such a strong 3betting range.

I definitely could be results oriented and I don't know if my math is accurate in PPT since it does not account for the openers range accurately as he will definitely fold some paired hands that perform poorly all in. Unfortunately I don't know the correct PPT syntax. If anyone does, feel free to share

Didn't play much yesterday, I tried to get some hands in but I was playing so bad since I was babysitting my niece I had to stop playing. Made some profit mainly thanks to playthrough bonuses and a max late reg 25 freezout that had some overlay and i managed to ladder.

Last hand I played yesterday before i turned the PC off: 3b pot 3way to flop. Flop checked through I check called turn and river. SHAME.

In my defense my niece was shouting SAM SAM SAM SAM SAM SAM SAM for the duration of this hand, it had a little bit to do with my actions. Still my fault though.

Having an 8 is nice for the bluff and I don't think Q9 is good at showdown vs the action, The other components of the hand actually unblock the pairs so I don't know if this was a good candidate for a bluff or not, I went with it since having an 8 is the most important part as far as improving success % of the bluff since it reduces the FH combos.

I appreciate the concern but that is just my most recent deposit of £100 that I am trying to spin up at the moment, I guess I should update my overall win/loss stats in my posts like I used to so it isn't confusing. The next blog will have the updated stats. Since starting the blog I think I am up ~£3k and I was rolled for 25PLO before I started it. The days of me playing with 5-10 buyins is long gone thankfully!

Very nice progress so far keep it up! 1600 per week at 10 hexapros is amazing well done.

Absolutely rekt this weekend. Down a ton in EV and made 2-3 bad calls over the sessions to add to the losses. -30 in MTTS and -130 in cash. If I had played without tilt and not started calling too wide it would be at -75. Definitely too many blunders for my liking!

Biggest loss (vs super VIP) I open AJdd, super VIP 3b, I 4b, He 5b, I jam he snaps. (He was stacking off pre with KTo+)

After an initial deposit of £100 we've spun it up to £310 playing mainly PLO with a little bit of NL and MTT mixed in. I had spun the deposit up to 500 but after a few bad sessions of lolmaha we're back down.  Adding some NLH games since I couldn't get enough PLO tables and it didn't take long for a punt to happen. I've played very precise and have only made 2 punts since I started playing again, both of them in NLH. One of them for a stack and another for about £10 - not the end of the world. The rust is off though and these punts will not be seen anymore (I hope).

PUNT ALERT 5b ripping pre KJs SB vs CO is not the play to get your winrate going, I hate this so much. No words.

Looks like a bit of a cold run at the moment but glad to see things have turned around since last time I read the blog

5 Weeks since i last updated the blog and stopped playing on Unibet after the software update that f*cked the top-up button and made it so that I would click "change to big blinds" around 2-3 times per second and drive myself insane. Definitely not a reasonable response for most people but I know what I am like and that button triggered me into tilt mode everytime I tried to play.

I popped on unibet a few times over the xmas period to check on it and it looks like I can finally play again. Yippee!

What have I been doing with myself in the last 5 weeks since I self-banned from Unibet? Well I have been doing what most 35 year olds would be doing...

As much as I study & play chess I just can't seem to improve my rating in blitz (5 minute) games above 1200. League of legends is a diff story, I am smurfing on these kids with my 35 year old reflexes.

The old 12 hours per day poker grind schedule is being recommenced as of tomorrow 06/01/2022. Chess and LoL are fun but nothing is quite like poker.

I'll still be playing the 25PLO tables and dabbling in MTTs when I don't feel like I am in a punty mood. Since redepositing on 03/01 I am +£142 as of writing this post.

I tried to continue playing a session and it is legit unplayable with the current layout. @P0kerM0nkThat doesn't affect anything on the tables anymore.
This is purely an aesthetic patch taking priority over function, one of the cardinal sins of UX. I am going to have to move my volume off of Unibet because constantly misclicking is tilting and I can't have that shit affecting my thought process and stress levels when I am multi tabling

2 biggest issues for me:

Rathole mitigation doesn't work - you can just come back with a different alias to bypass it
Everytime I try to rebuy or topup I change from BBs to currency because the buttons overlap

My target for this month is 75k cash game hands and the last MTT I played was the Supermoon and I only played that because of a freeroll qualifier.

In the last 5 years I have played ~700 MTTs online  w/ ABI of £15 and £6k profit. Almost all of my volume is devoted to cash games.

Running deep in good tournaments and bricking is just soul destroying, cash is frustrating but nowhere near as bad.

That being said, I will definitely be playing all low UOS events and the mid & high PLO ones too since I really want to try and get top 10 on the leaderboard. 

I am ashamed to say I didn't stick to my word and play only 25PLO and instead I played 50PLO with a few 25 tables when there weren't enough running.

I ran well though, and even managed to win the high hand promotion for a 50 PLO ticket with an 8 high straight flush.

I spent all of my bonus points on some MTT tickets and used 5 of them to play the titan (which I have never even min cashed) and a €600 Sputnik rebuy which I shipped after misclick jamming 35bbs from UTG right after the rebuy period closed with T2o.. In my defense it was a dachshund puppy that decided to put me all in by running on my laptop's touchpad. GOOD DOG!!

Apart from that *small* mistake I played well and closed it out going into HU vs an opponent who had a 4:1 lead. GG

Played like shit today because I was running bad. Lost an extra 40 from bad river calls in 3b pots in 2 specific hands. One was a pure check/call instead of a bet/call and the other was a GTO call but the guy was a bad nit who is not balanced so I could have definitely folded and if I wasn't tilted I would have.

I don't understand... As far as I can see in the first examples you made 2 losing bets on games with different names that were the same teams but formatted differently? And you want your money back?

If we could change the time frame for "hands played" in the achievements section that would be awesome instead of total hands played, hands per quarter or per month etc.
