  1. You see, you confuse me with your BS? Why you brought Havertz in? πŸ˜‚ Gundogan will not get any better, he leaves at his peak. That is the best deal from City. Anyone with common sense would sell him now, so they did not even wanna compete w Barca.
  2. Barca is the same cancer as I said, unlimited budget but they have no money... Also, Gundogan wanted to leave for a couple of years, right? He is getting old, who knows how many years he has in him, his last chance to move to a different country and league, and the perfect timing with a treble behind. Havertz has done nothing since the CL final two years ago, why arabs would want him to stay? So who said Arabs (or actually anyone with common sense) want them? πŸ˜…You can come up with better!
  3. Talking about one season only (because it fits the narrative) when they built the team for more than a decade πŸ˜‚ Teach the community more about ignorance 😝 I am mistaken, it's not a troll thread, it's a legendary thread now!
  4. Ok, at least it's clear that you are trolling πŸ˜… Let me educate you! Did you know that profits come from different sources, like sponsors (Arab money)? Eventually, they pump as much money as they want into City, so they do what they want. Also, did you know that clubs from the Premier League literally can't go bankrupt because they make a nice profit from broadcasting? And also, did you know that most of the best teams make a profit? πŸ˜‚ Other than that, City is in a massive minus in the last decade on transfers as shown in the picture I linked to you. But hey, you are right in everything you say, even if your argument is your opinion alone. High-five!
  5. Well, I struggle with the internet due to storms πŸ˜„ You clearly have an internet connection to re-read the facts I stated, but I help you out this last time. - Corruption. Fact. - Cheating. Fact. - Leagues are fairer with caps. Fact. - Arabs coming into European football with their dirty money and doing whatever they want. Fact. - The best national tourneys were about two decades ago (check the goal/match ratios for instance). Fact. - Results from the CL finals. Fact. - List from one of the best crew out there. Doesn't matter if the list is based on a survey, on a team's or a single author's opinion, but much more objective than you or me. Not fact, but nearer to it than any of us here. I can accept the stubborn "suspension of disbelief" from @GR1ZZL3R because he is a Citizen after all, but I can't accept that you can't read. Also, the last two sentences are a huge own goal, but what to expect from a Finn (from the 13th min.: "City actually made money on transfer market this season" - Ok... Congratulations, first time in ages? Feel free to check transfermarkt.de (Transfer income and expenditure | Transfermarkt) for the last 15 years, or read this one (for you with picture: The Top 25 Highest Spending Clubs In The Last Decade - SPORTbible), or this one from two years ago (30 European clubs with the the biggest net spend in last five years - ranked (90min.com). Talking about facts. If you wanna bully me and my opinion, at least don't deny it with your subjective brainstorming and get your facts straight first, otherwise I feel like I talk to a support agent...
  6. That site (which I don't even know and am not sure is valid) shows only wages, it's only a slice of the story. Also, City and PSG are known for cheating with these numbers, right? Anyway, I feel dissatisfied that I come up with results, facts, stats, and objective shits, and your answer is that you don't like it. πŸ˜…
  7. Which facts are wrong? Corruption, cheating, US major league caps to keep the leagues interesting and FAIR? Curious... The only opinion one can argue is that football dies. But even you, @Livertoollisted most of the problems, and I think they are pretty bad. It's a corrupt business now, led by oil monkeys. And I don't know how the quality could be called better than ever. Should be, thanks to today's technology, meds, training, etc, but it is not. The best ECs and WCs were the ones around 2000, and I don't even remember the last ones. Talking about club football, what about the last 5 CL finals? All of them were boring as hell, except for one all were 1-0 and the one was 2-0 but literally over after the 1st minute πŸ˜„ 442 is a top soccer site (magazine) and had a list of the best CL matches last October. Interestingly, I didn't find many recent ones in the top 25, and only one in the top 10, which was a comeback, probably that's the sole reason being listed as high. Have a look if have bad memory: The 25 best Champions League games of all time: 10-1 - RANKED! The 25 best Champions League games of all time | FourFourTwo Also, maybe except for De Bruyne, I don't know any player who plays decent in most of the important matches. None. Because there are not enough world-class players, and they are dead tired and injured, because money takes over the game.
  8. Unfortunately, seems like it became a troll thread now. Football in general dies because of the huge money involved. It was crazy already and is even worse since the Arabs because they think they can buy everything and everybody, UEFA and FIFA involved. Smelly as fk. Look, PSG and City can buy anyone, prizes in the sky, don't matter. The cheating they are allowed to do is disgusting. Barcelona? Absolutely not the same, but also cancer in the sport of buying a full team. From what money? That's what none knows! The quality is usually better than in the 90s, sure, but some of the last few seasons were not top football, because Qatar liked the winter WC and Covid (or rather the federations pushing for finishing the season, starting the next, going to EC and starting again...) messed up the schedule. I don't like the way where football is heading, and I can't get it how anyone would like... Comparing NFL to European football is mad πŸ˜„ As Wudu explained there is a cap, doesn't matter if the owner is a billionaire or not, you can't spend more than the cap allowed. Also, there is a system to pick up young guys and build up a good team. IMO better than buying a good team. And I don't even wanna get into the topic of how those usually 60+ Americans got their money and how the Arabs, and how many people were threatened, sentenced, or killed on the way. From my perspective, I don't care if any of these cheaters win something big once in a while, but there is no way they should be celebrated.
  9. Obviously, but it's way easier to manage it when your best (and maybe third best -thinking about Mahrez) player doesn't even attend the bloody winter world cup in Qatar, and except for one of your subs, no one goes deep in that tournament. I don't mind, Man City will win it next year too, most of the giant teams need big and refreshing changes, and some of them don't even have the money to make it. And unfortunately, the rich countries from the Arab world wanna expand their power to Europe, so whatever they want, will happen. Football dies a bit every day.
  10. Yep, Haaland was dead tired after the WC, De Bruyne who said he didn't wanna go to Qatar was clearly fatigued too. And all the others who have been in the semifinals. Alvarez and... anyway, all of them πŸ™‚
  11. City was the same two weeks ago in the CL. Being there at the opened door and failing like a loser. That's why it's weird from you to bash Dortmund for the very same. I'm confused: To be fair, I said since the world cup that City will win the CL because the best teams seemingly fell apart after the WC. Feel free to scroll back through the various topics. And yeah, if City can not win with all the cheating and millions, that's a shame, if they can, that's fine.
  12. Sounds weird from a City supporter. City has all the advantages (legal and illegal) on Earth and couldn't win the Champions League until now, even when faced with the likes of Lyon or Tottenham, or even when leading until the last minutes (Real). They looked just the same clueless, no? And now, compare the budget of the two clubs. Ahh, and the backbone of the club owners... Dortmund has the same problem as Arsenal. Most of their players are young and inexperienced to fight for a real title. That is the reason they both failed the same way and not that City and Bayern were unplayable.
  13. Shouldn't beat these poor guys so badly, absolutely not Finnish style to score (at all actually) 6 goals. Good chance to make it to the Euro, and to lose all the group matches there πŸ€ͺOf course unless something happens like back in 1997... On a serious note, I knew Denmark is overhyped but this is an unexpected collapse even for their standard. This is the easiest group ever probably and still failing. At least Damgaard (and not Damsgaard) made Denmark proud with Magdeburg! Hero! 😍
  14. Yeah, Greece, well done. πŸ₯Ά Who is that shit scored thrice for Finland @Livertool? I had under 4,5 goals and it looked fantastic until the last twenty minutes...
  15. The last dance for Lahoz, he will be the ref on France - Greece tonight. Didn't give a single card on his last two La Liga matches (I caught the last one, and had 6 bets, under 5,5 until under 0,5 cards, the latter paid 17x). Let's see what he does tonight. He cried after the last La Liga match like baby. I will honestly miss him even if he was an attention seeker bastard, but at least had more charisma than most of the players.
  16. Yeah, that ManU treble was fantastic, (of course, had to congratulate them because) that was something else. Most of the key players came from the reverse team growing up together, an incomparable and unique achievement. Some of them were legendary players. A likeable team really. Good old days.
  17. Viewing numbers are on a steady decline as you say, and yet Real-Pool had bigger numbers last year. Obviously, "nobody care" is not true word by word, but you should know what I mean. Especially, because you felt the need to post the victory three times because nobody (exactly nobody) cared here. Not many football fans can swallow the success (and game) of City, PSG, and all those clubs with a lost identity... Wudu already replied on the BuLi part, not much else to say. I was heavily sweating on my "Schalke to BuLi2" bet at the end, and there were great matches produced by Dortmund, Leipzig (Szoboszlai rulez), or let's be honest, even Schalke. Also, Bayern winning the title every year should be a lock, stealing players left and right and having the biggest budget should be enough. Same as at City, no? The cheating is as clear as it gets. Do people seriously believe, that the Abu Dhabi UG will be found guilty? The oil mafia against the corrupt UEFA, with so much cash on the line? Lol. The decision could take up to years, the investigation is behind closed doors - money will solve it, again. PSG and Barca are the same. However, you can't do much as a long-time fan, enjoy the results! On a side note, Grealish is showing what an idol is he for the kids. Well done!
  18. Those viewing numbers are just expectations, and if we have read the same article, it says the actual viewing numbers are one of the lowest for a CL final. Most probably because none of the teams are popular (for many reasons, we all know) like Real, Bayern, or Juventus, and maybe not because they are unwatchable. But as it turned out, it was really unwatchable. Btw I have to correct myself, I know one guy from my "company" who watched about one hour from the game live on tv. 😬 I don't even remember a good game or a big drama honestly, but maybe I was spoiled by the Bundesliga season, the Arsenal comebacks (and meltdowns πŸ˜‚), and Brighton. I don't really support any football team, but it doesn't mean anything, I'm a Hungarian and I watch every World Cup πŸ˜…(However, the last was a disaster). To pay for this? I don't think so. Also, a nice story that City came from the third league, I would stand up and clap (like I admire Brighton or Atletico for building something big from a low budget) if not for those cheatings and spent millions. But could have been worse, by Inter winning it 😬
  19. Yeah @GR1ZZL3R, you are correct, many may have missed it because literally, nobody cared about this match-up. Checking the stats and reading through the news, I think I made the best decision skipping it and spending those two hours in a better way. 😍 Well done to Chitty tho (actually the two biggest cheaters were in the final, so to be clear, talking about City), it was about time to avoid being the biggest losers ever. Nice 10+ years run to the title, money well spent! At the same time, the A and B category matches (so the more popular ones) won't be available for free from next year in Hungary. Well, not sure I will miss it, this year was really a boring tournament, and I definitely wouldn't pay for it. Let's see!
  20. I have the habit to make acca bets for goals in the last rounds of leagues, but this season it was a catastrophe (like the whole season, and not talking about betting). Finally, at least the Premier League thanked the fans and entertained people around the globe - too bad I was busy and didn't bet on PL 😁 Btw, regarding entertainment, the only match where nobody cared to have fun was the Brentford - Man City. They said City is entertaining, if I wanna watch goals and chances, I should watch it... On a serious note, if you are the manager of City, you are one goal down, you have young players on your bench who didn't make a debut in the Premier League yet, an attacking midfielder and a striker. What do you do? You don't sub at all, right? Must be a Catalan humor I don't understand...
  21. A nice tip for Nürnberg! Hamburg is one of the biggest losers, choking all the time when they are about to win the BuLi2, and now this... Celebrated on the pitch already, must be heartbreaking. Németh AndrÑs hopefully stays (first of all injury-free) and can make an impact next year - in BuLi2 😐
  22. That's very disrespectful to Kahn, even in these circumstances. I watched the PL PO game, and Dortmund (especially Haller) should watch the replay. The biggest match of their life in the fully packed Wembley, but the guys were focused and confident, none of them was shaking or afraid and the first 11 players didn't miss the penalty. I was impressed. Luton won the two-way ticket, their "stadium" is cute, and I became a fan, but I doubt we will see Luton in the Premier League for more than a year.
  23. That is a lovely first comment on this topic @Boby πŸ˜…
  24. I felt it when I had to read literally every day that Dortmund will win, can not duck it up, home game, etc... I saw it from miles away. What a missed chance. Facepalm...
