  1. @psrquack How do you make notes on aliases? On the in browser instant play version of Unibet the only button for each player is to show their actions that they have made so far in the current hand or on the previous hand.
  2. @FreedoM I'm a Finnish student and I play poker on the same laptop that I study with. It's a Lenovo ideapad 330s but something with much lower specs will work too for poker and linux (I checked that my computer is using about 600 MB of memory on idle and 1.6-2.0 GB and 8% of CPU with the unibet website and poker client open) Yeah Linux has less viruses because it has fewer users (it's less of a target) and on average users are more computer savvy. I like Linux because generally it is pretty fast on even low specs and more intuitive once you get used to it in my opinion (also better for privacy and viruses). But there are less programs for Linux, usually not a problem imo except for some games (e.g most poker sites) and really niche use cases (but someone might disagree with me). Yeah Linux distros are free and open source and the Linux mint distro is easy to install and pretty stable, but there are other good distros too. In the end someone else might have good reasons for preferring Windows so ultimately it's a matter of preference and everyone likes what they like. I'm not a computer expert so someone else might be able to give an even more informed anwser or recommend a computer model :D
  3. @FreedoM I just used the instant play option in my browser So if you go to unibet.com, click poker and click "instant play" (or something like that) you will get there. It works fine and is quite stable. It's very rare that it freezes and you need to reopen the website (most sessions of 3-4 hours it never freezes) but it has happened in the past a few times.
  4. @FreedoM Thank you! I was actually using the in browser version in Linux mint, and on Linux mint there is a built in screenshot program that I probably should have used. Or maybe I'll try Gyazo. Anyway better than using the phone camera :P
  5. Was running really hot today lol. 52€ of net profits in 4 tables of 4 NL in about 4 hours. My stack on one table reached about 28€ at one point and at one point I had 3 stacks over 20€ with the fourth at about 15€. That's 4 hours averaging at 90 BB/100 assuming 90 hands per hour per table (if I counted correctly). I guess I gotta enjoy it while it lasts...The picture is blurry but maybe you get the idea :p
  6. @FreedoM Thanks! Luckily 10 buyins is not the end of the world. And I got some back right after by playing some HUSNG's including one against an opponent that called me down with 6 high (and hands like that, multiple times) :P.
  7. Lol. I lost almost 10 buyins today 4 tabling NL 4. I ran AQ in AK once, and AJ into AK once in a 3bet pot (both all with a flopped A and about or slightly over 100 BB). I ran AK into A9 two pair (which was probably a bad call from me admittedly, about 150 BB pot). I lost A9 vs AK with a flopped A in a 3bet pot (about 100 BB, probably bad call from me). I ran KK into AA for 200 BB (we went all in on a flop with 3 spades and we both had a spade). I lost straight over straight AQ vs Q9 suited in a 3bet pot (flop came JT8 and turn K and I also had a flush redraw that bricked, lost about 130 BB). I lost 150 BB against an agressive opponent who 3bet from the small blind with A2s, I called with AA setting the trap, flop comes 242 and we are all in on turned 9. I ran AK into TT for almost 100 BB (all in pre and lost with flopped T). I lost with two pair against a really agressive calling station (I had 67, he had TT , flop was 678, turn K, we went all in on the turn, river was an 8. Lost about 100 BB). I had K4 vs K9 on a flop with K49 for perhaps about 100 BB. I did win a few big pots too (I won about 100 BB with quad 44 vs opponent who overplayed A3 on A44 flop), but the general trend was downwards. The table had some pretty aggressive players to my left and the action was pretty fun despite the losses, though I did start tilting a little bit at some point (and made a few bad bluffs, which cost me maybe an extra 150 BB for the whole session, as well as some bluffs that I think were ok but didn't work). My opening ranges are on the looser side and so I ended up playing many 3bet pots (as well as bluff 4betting) vs these aggressive players. Perhaps I'm a bit too loose preflop and need to adjust my opening ranges (as well as tighten call vs 3bet ranges especially with the worse Ax combos like AT and A9), especially against pretty agressive players :D.
  8. I haven't got the poker stuff from the deposit deal. Anyone know whats up snd when we will get it?
