Oh how I was hoping to see a question like this, when I saw this subject line:

Ace is counted as 1 in the low draw, so A4567 / 14567 is lower than 23456.

 

First you look if the hands are qualified as low. Then you start comparing the lowest numbers in each hand. If one is lower then that hand wins. If both are equal then you compare the next lowest numbers etc. No need to think of the higher numbers, just start from the bottom and find the first difference.

Not sure if you are trolling or not, but it goes exactly the other way.

We start comparing from the highest card and see who has the lowest, and work our way down from there...
