  1. Be ready for 100+ buy-in downswings that happen quite often. Sometimes it goes on for days or weeks but also when rungood hits it's magic. If you want to go up in stake, I think you need at least 200-300 buy-ins to be safe.
  2. Not sure about the year thing, but overall i agree that it doesn't mean much. Just stated the current situation.
  3. Had a look at the results since the beginning of Banzai 2.0: in aprox 50k hands the win rate is about the same as before so in my case the increase in rake is offset by more recs or rungood. Not complaining either way. We'll see this month if it's confirmed.
  4. Damn, @SShcherbynabeat me to it but anyhow, here it is mine: 1/3 Also, big up to CS, I got my results literally one hour after requesting it and also they have split the files in the way I wanted.
  5. So I was right 🙂 I thought it would have been too big of a coincidence if it weren't the case, given your community name. Yeah, I watched you dominate the leader board and was quite amazed you lost first place but it's understandable since high stakes pay three times more points. I can't really play my A game for 8 hours but still managed fourth playing like 3-4 hours, I'll take it 😅 Word of advice: promos that require a lot of play might be problematic, since a lot of the time you will be playing your B and C game and in the end lose more due to bad play than the bonuses you get. Been there 🙂 GL at he tables, man!
  6. Was it you on the third place of the banzai leader board yesterday? If so, it's amazing you achieved that on 1 euro stake .
  7. Your daughter is lovely, you must be very proud indeed. All the best from your friendly southern neighbour. May 2023 bring you victory and peace!
  8. What dis? Looks like my calorie intake for this year.
  9. I thought I said all I had to say but this generalization kinda pushes my buttons. It's perfectly legitimate to have a personal opinion but don't say "the average player" and "everyone" if you don't have data to back it up. Also, I would respect it if you would be totally transparent and not hide behind this "everyone thinks it's a poorer experience" bs. It's simple: if you like to play deep, there's cash games. But it's not hard to imagine that what you really want is to play deep with spaz fish that get it in with top pair 300 bb deep and think they hit jackpot, the banzai fish type. I get it, we all want that but I guess you can't have it both ways. The shallower you play, the smaller the edge - game is supposed to be shallow - it is what it is. Regarding the experience of the game, based on comments, the majority here likes it and apparently the data says the recs like it too and are flocking in. And it's also logical, recs like to play bingo don't really care about stack sizes.
  10. If I were to make an assumption, Banzai isn't the first option for recs who enjoy deep stack poker. I understand your view but I don't really share your frustration. Personally, I like it more and, as I said, can't really say for sure atm, but it looks more profitable. There are only things I care about: the game format to be sustainable and recs at the table. Looks about right to me.
  11. Some thoughts after playing a fair amount: - small sample of course but seems games are good, still beatable, despite me being on the wrong side of the flips . Didn't do the math, I'll do it at the end of the month, but I feel it's at least as good as before. - yeah, you don't see the 400-600bb stacks anymore but personally, I don't really care as long as there are more recs and as long as recs like the new dynamic - Carrying your stack between tables will only help regs, I'm not complaining if you do it but that's a fact - anonymous tables - seems a good idea for recs, you might want to consider it for other games too. All notes I had are useless now so good move. - bottom line, it's all coming together beautifully, with some tweaks mentioned here an there it'll be perfect.
  12. Interesting, this could only mean that games are WAY softer now.
  13. I think it's better to avoid this situation with two players with the same name at the table. Ideally, there should be unique names for all the players in the pool at one moment.
  14. Wow what??!!! Never seen so many players. Not even close. 5 stake doesn't look too shabby either.
  15. Percentage of all ins won is a fair indicator of luck when you have 1000+ all ins in a month, like in Banzai. For example, last month I had a 53.32% all ins won, and this month I'm running at 53.79% so I guess I'm in the threshold.
  16. Ok, from my experience people sitting out on purpose happens quite rarely and doesn't impact the game too much. What was really annoying was people sitting out with 0 balance after being stacked. Sometimes you had even 2-3 of them at the table and it sucked. I propose something in between: if you have a stack bigger than 10 buy ins then a bigger sit out period but if you have 0 then 90 seconds - enough time to rebuy. LE: nevermind, I've read the the answer below, makes sense if the game is mobile focused.
  17. Just please don't take it down. Planning to have a Banzai full weekend 🙂
  18. Sometimes it feels like no matter how good you put it in you always lose, right? Especially in Banzai. But I'm pretty sure there's a bug with the life bar here in this situation 😅
  19. Have an idea: how about when you win a big pot against a higher level the loser gets demoted or something like that. Or when you suck out on someone higher rated he gets demoted or something in this direction. Statistically, weaker players will get it in worse a lot more and will suck out more so I guess they'll like it. Bottom line: it might be more fun if the outcome of an all in will have an impact on the other player's status, to feel more like a fight. The rules and the way of how it will impact should be, of course, in the advantage of recreationals.
  20. Ok, played for like half an hour: - really like the graphics, animations all running smooth. really like the thunder. Good job on this! - overall pace is faster, I like it personally - I really like the level up idea but I think it should be improved. Right now graphics are pretty similar for all levels and you just see different similar avatar with small differences and you can't really tell which one is better just by looking at them. Also, recs should be incentivized to play more and level up. Not by rake but by different graphics and abilities for each level. I suggest more bombastic avatars for each level with some perks like special emoji maybe some throw objects animations like on other sites. Also, as an idea, there should be the ability to customize your avatar if you reach some thresholds, etc. Bottom line: the main idea is very good but it needs a little tweaking. - I understand the anonymous tables thing, fair enough but there at least should be unique nicknames for all users. Main idea is for protecting the players, I get that and I respect it but with multiple instances of the same nick on different table is straight out confusing. Pretty sure I saw two Slobber Knockers on different tables. - Also, I lost 2 buy ins, confirmed unbeatable 😅.
