  1. Pro tip: When you bluff, you need to be so convincing, even with seemingly little to no fold equity that even you believe you have the nuts!
  2. Wow, I wasn't expecting to wake up to the messages I have today. Even though I've spent years of playing to get to the position I'm in today I feel really grateful to be where I'm at after reading the last few posts. First of all I'm glad you enjoy the stream, it's my first time doing such a thing so I have no idea what people want to see, what they want to hear etc. I'm completely aware I'm a pretty frustrated poker player in general, I don't know what other people are like when they play online but I think it's super important to vent your frustration so you don't tilt at the table. I also think confidence/arrogance are needed in poker, especially in heads up games where you're battling a king-of-the-hill style lobby. Effectively on Unibet, you cannot share the lobby with anyone like you can on other sites, if a really good player sits, you have to play them until they don't want to play you anymore. There's definitely a confidence needed in your own game to take on these players. Furthermore, confidence/arrogance is always overstated when on an upswing. Sometimes I'm downswinging and I sit here questioning whether I can even beat the 25s anymore! In terms of the plays that you see, it is mostly just experience. One of the great things about learning HU is that there are generally a limited number of different spots that appear in game. I made a ridiculous bluff on stream the other day where I put a guy all in for 200 more chips when the pot was like 1200 with king high, almost no fold equity and I got him to fold. It just didn't feel like he has a value hand there very often. It's impossible to sit here and explain but after playing game after game over the past 10 years you will learn what boards hit villain out of position and as a result I can pick off bluffs a lot easier than an inexperienced player would. @cris1285 @Nestabear @UAC I appreciate the comments from you guys as well. Undecided on what to do today, slept pretty poorly as I went to bed so late. May well take some more shots at the 100s if the games are good <3
  3. Couldn't sleep so played a few more 100s with some ok results, small profit but nothing amazing. Can I just say though how hilarious some players on this site are. Not for the first time, I have a reg who is switching between usernames every game we play. It's actually quite insulting that he thinks a reg-like player (which he must perceive me as) is not going to realise that at 4:20am on a Monday morning, where the games are dead and we are the only game above the 25s running that it is obviously the same ❤️♥️❤️ player. Like seriously? He plays exactly the same style with every alias and he sits there thinking he's clever? I'm not even sure why it makes me so angry but I do hope he reads this because he's fooling the square root of nobody. He's terrible as regs go as well, if I had a slightly bigger roll I would sit there 3-4 tabling him until the cows come home, but I don't really fancy a potential 5k downswing, even though I have decent sized bankroll, just not worth it with bills to pay and profit targets to meet. /rant
  4. Day 6 Really lazy day from me, only managed 67 games, not sure why as I was feeling motivated this morning and didn't run bad today. Going to have to put in a big grind tomorrow to finish the week strong. 100s shot went well to begin with but tailed off towards the end, still made a couple of buy ins though. Results 50 games at 50s, 29 wins, €313 profit, 12.5% ROI 17 games at 100s, 10 wins, €240 profit, 14.1% ROI Total = €553 profit Year to date: Current total/Needed to hit goal 705/600 games +€3,531.50/€1,200 profit 14.3%/8% ROI Another good day when you take initial profit target into consideration.
  5. Gonna take a 3-5bi shot at the 100s on stream in a min. Leggo!
  6. @UAC Thanks for tuning in mate, I will definitely take shots whenever I can, think of those challenge points <3 @Silver1 Love it! #2019printing. @TDW I do play a lot of the same names day in day out, no idea where their income is coming from if I'm honest. @DoktorAvalanche Thanks mate, hopefully you'll be able to join in the chat in the next stream! Time waits for no man, up and back at the grind again. Will be streaming shortly as well but the games are dead at the moment so no point just yet. Another big day coming up, may splash around in the Supernova tourney or a few others tonight as well. Run good all <3
  7. Day 5 Probably one of the most stress free sessions I've ever had on stream at the end there. I had a tough start to the day, had to battle one or two aggressive regs and I couldn't get any decent cards to play back with, then whenever I had something half decent I was getting coolered. Once I got that out of the way I seemed to play recreationals all night, I was winning flip after flip, getting mostly coolers in my favour and everything was pretty smooth sailing. @GR1ZZL3R even commented that I was laughing and joking on stream, probably a first! 🤣 Results 9 games at €25s, 5 wins, €17.50 profit, 7.8% ROI 91 games at €50s, 59 wins, €1173 profit, 25.8% ROI Total - €1190.50 profit Year to date: Current total/Needed to hit goal 638/500 games +€2,978.50/€1000 profit 14.6%/8% ROI (Even with reg battling <3) First £1k day of the year! Long may it continue <3
  8. Games seem quite tough today so going to have a break and come back shortly. Much <3
  9. After 538 games in 3 and a half days I decided to just chill in the end last night and come back today feeling fresh. I did a quick update above of yesterday but I'll update 2019 here: Current total/Needed to hit goal 538/400 games +€1,788/€800 profit 11.5%/8% ROI (This will likely decrease the more I play higher battling regs) Obviously very happy with how things are going so far. Year to date: Will be streaming from 2:30/3pm GMT onwards, hopefully all day!
  10. @UAC As others have said there is nothing standard at the micros or against recs at any level. On my last stream I had a hand where I open with Ax villain flats, flop A75, I Cbet he flats, turn Q, I barrel he check raises, I flat, river 5 and he bets pot. I remember talking out loud about how I'm expecting him to show up with mostly Q7 and Q5 on the turn and when he pots that river I take Q7 out of his range generally, putting him more on Q5 but end up levelling myself into calling because he could have some 86 in his range here. I end up calling and he has.... J9.... I just laugh and say "well he's made me look stupid" 🤣
  11. Keep up the grind mate and make sure you get that stream set up so I've got someone to watch when I'm too tilted to grind 🤣
  12. I reckon 25-30bi for shots is fine if you're willing to move down after losing 5-10, but 50 is very comfortable in these imo.
  13. Basically I just track results as a paste from the website poker history and do cumulative profit in the last column then do an excel graph based on that profit throughout the day.
  14. Beautiful day, thought it was going to be a -1k day at one point but focused so hard at the 50s, played unreal and ran fairly good. My favourite hand has to be me flatting a small 3 bet with 98s, flop T93, villain checks I bet 40% pot, he calls. Turn 4, check check, river 3, he checks I jam 1.2x pot and say to my girlfriend "I'm getting called by ace high here, I am the greatest", villain calls with A8, I strut around the lounge like an absolute don 🤣 Hit my 100 games for the day, going to get a takeaway and a few beers then will probably chill on the PS4 for a bit and may do a late night stream at the 10s or 25s for a laugh.
  15. @successlaw Whenever, I could do one now but games at the 50s aren't as regular so maybe a bit of waiting around for games to start. A nice little comeback after a horrid start to the day (was getting absolutely destroyed in coolers at the 25s then getting 3 outered for fun at the 50s).
  16. Moving up to the 50s today for a bit of fun and some extra challenge points. Here's a little teaser :popeye:
  17. Day 3 Really weird day today. Didn't really feel like playing much this morning after last night's antics, still had a lot of pent up anger/frustration which I could feel every time I lost a simple flip or 60/40. I did a small bit of shadowboxing in the mirror to calm down and all was good 🤣 but it got me looking at how much a punchbag costs as I feel it would pay for itself 10 times over within a month! Despite not being overly motivated the heads up grind went really well. Hands were holding, flush draws were coming in and I was hitting the 3 outers for a change. I ran pretty good for the most part. On the side towards the end I played some Banzai cash and a few Hexapros. Wow. I didn't win a single all in over 7 attempts on cash and I played 2 €25 Hexapros with points I had, 10x and 5x, busted both. When you add these losses to the previous couple of days dabbles into Hexapros and tournaments I reckon I've done €250-300 in stupid games. It adds up so quick on those things. The tilt level was off the scale after that tonight and I stupidly put £100 on an online casino but managed to withdraw £500 after a bit of blackjack run good. I'm going to use those winnings to mentally offset the losses from those games and now avoid at all costs. Anyone who posts 'in for freeroll' in this thread from here will be in a draw to win €25 should anyone see playing a Hexapro in 2019 (one person will be randomly selected). Wanted to get more volume in today but fairly tired so going to try and get a bit of an earlier night tonight then get back fresh tomorrow. Results 137 games at €25s, 83 wins, €600.50 profit, 17.5% ROI Total - Day 3 Current total/Needed to hit goal 438/300 games +€1,078/€600 profit 9.8%/8% ROI Volume, profit and ROI all super good after 3 days. Today: Year to date: Really enjoyed the stream, good to see so many people getting involved in the chat as well. <3
