UO Bucharest Q&A

if the buy-in is stated in euros I'm sure you can pay with euros :)

What are the age regulations btw? A friend of mine is willing to accompany me on my trip, but he is not yet 21. I tought I read something about having to be 21+ to enter the casino, but couldn't find anything about it when looking.

I see now that the circumstances of ones birth are irrelevant... It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.

You'll find good rates in Unirii Square which is the closest to the Casino. Also Universitatii Square has good rate exchange houses.(but you will need to exchange a few at the airport for the taxi fair/bus)

Taxies are cheap here, but the airport is far away form the Marriott Hotel & Casino. You can take the bus till Universtitatii Square or Unirii Sqare and then jump into a taxi for the rest of the way.(that will cost under 10 Euros togeder). The public transport uses a special card you can charge multiple times .

Also, know that the taxies are required to have the roof painted in yellow. and they should give you a receipt at the end of the fair.

In Romania the Emergency Number is 112 , not  911.

Most of the younsters (and hipsters) speak english and will gladly answer to your questions, so don't hesitate.

If you need more help write a PM and we'll exchange info.
