I had aces 3 times in 4 hands!

Somehting cool happen tonight in a MTT i had aces 3 times in 4 hands! I won all 3 hands.:inlove: First two times I won the blinds and last time i won a big double.

has anyone else had anything similar? im no biggie on maths but 3 times in 4 hands must be super unlikely! never will that happen again 😀

The probablity of being dealt aces in any given hand is:

ncr(4,2)/ncr(52,2) = 1/221

In a random set of four hands the probablilty of getting aces exactly three times (no more or less) is:

ncr(4,3)*(1/221)^3 *220/221=880/2385443281 which is about 0.0000004 or about 4 in ten million

That is if I calculated correctly...there is always a pretty good chance that my bored tired brain has not :P. Of course a steady stream of hands can't be divided neatly into sets of fours so calculating the probablilty of getting aces three times within four hands in the span of lets say one million hands is going to require more work to calculate :P

I busted AK with Aces once just to bust AK with Aces (the exact same aces even) the very next hand. That was rather pleasant
