heimmy Posted November 5, 2019 Share Posted November 5, 2019 I tried yesterday to bet on a goalscorer: Hal Robson-Kanu (and he did score) but my bet was cancelled because he did not start? Is it impossible to bet on players to score in a match when they don't start the match? I thought it would be cancelled only if the player did not play at all...? Solution Purps Posted November 5, 2019 Solution Share Posted November 5, 2019 Hi @heimmy and welcome to the community 😃 When betting on a goalscorer the bets get voided if the player you bet on wasn't on the opening line-up, as you see from the following quote from the sportsbook rules:"4) Unless otherwise specified, or indicated in conjunction with the bet offer, all other goal-related bets will require the listed player(s) to play from the start of the match to be valid. Own goals will never count as a goal scored for any selected player." I personally don't do any live-betting so I'm not sure if an option to bet on substituted players to score a goal is possible there 😃 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
