Hello All,

I was just reading through your helpful suggestions on the blog. I might need your help on this one. I have just won a £220 buy-in Unibet Poker Tour in Newcastle. I have been told that I have won a €2,000 Unibet Open package for Malta. I have a couple of questions with regards to that:

a) What does the package contain (buy-ins, accommodation, travel etc)

b) What if I am not able to make it to the scheduled Malta trip

c) Can the package be transferred to someone else or used at a different event?

I would be really grateful if you could answer these for me.

congrats on winning the UK Tour in Newcastle.

a) What does the package contain (buy-ins, accommodation, travel etc)

Each package includes the buy-in to the main event of €1,100, 4 nights of hotel, breakfast, dinner, welcome drinks, player's party and €250 of travel expenses, you can find all information on the Unibet Open page here.

b) What if I am not able to make it to the scheduled Malta trip?

Usually the rule is that packages are not possible to postpone but in this case, we would give you the option to choose between Malta in September or Paris in November. Ideally you would let us know which of two steps you'd prefer, so we can secure your seat.

c) Can the package be transferred to someone else or used at a different event?

It can't be transferred and can only be used for Malta or Paris.

I talked to Kasia who mentioned that she talked to you already, you will receive an email with more information latest by next week for Malta and if you then confirm that you can't make it to Malta, we can swap it for Paris instead.

I was in Newcastle and I have won a Unibet Open Malta package but after 2 weeks I didn't received anything at all. Is everything all right?

Hi @suarez, welcome to the Community :)

I've e-mailed our poker expert and we're double checking on your package, it usually takes a couple of weeks until we process the packages, create the requests towards the UO team, get them approved etc, I wouldn't worry too much but good thing you contacted us though. We're on it and will be back with more details ASAP.
