VikingsAF
Google some "satellite staregy" :) SDT and DT work like this aswell since you don't profit from being first, you should just make sure you end in the money. I see now that the circumstances of ones birth are irrelevant... It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.
GamesDean
Sure. Interestingly, you should play both of them differently. The Double Trouble rewards 100 players, the Super Double Trouble only rewards 10 players. Therefore, you have to take more risks in the Super variant, meaning you have to take more flips, take riskier shoves, make riskier calls, make thinner value bets etc. When the payouts are near, that changes again, of course. Google ICM, if you don’t understand why that is.In the Double Trouble, however, you can play as tight as you want. In fact, you even should do that. Early on, you should try to play as many pots as reasonably possible – e.g. trying to see cheap flops with suited connectors – because later on, the blinds catch on and most hands will be decided by push/fold ranges. When the blinds are big and the payouts are near and you have a bigger stack than the rest of the table, you can sometimes shove any two cards profitably. At some tables, players are not aware that they should fold a lot, so you have to tone your all-in ranges down a bit.
