Client stops working regularly on Mac after Sonoma OS update

It happened 5 times in the past week since my Mac OS Sonoma update, but tables suddenly stop responding to the actions of the click of the mouse, while the rest of my computer is still commuting to mouse clicks.  The only solution I have found, is to shut down the Unibet software and reboot it again.

Thx!

The freeze just happened again ; fortunately, it had not happened since I posted this thread, so in roughly 15-20h of play 😎  Unfortunately, it was costly this time around, as I was involved in a few small pots as well as lost a few bbs on my Hexapro 😬  My Mac system also did not create a crash log for this manual shutdown of the client.

Our QA have tried to reproduce the issue, but unfortunately no luck so far 😞

Current plan is to start working on it after:

MitID and BankID login broken on Android app - Bug Reports - Unibet Community (90% complete)

Android app with grey/black screen after login - Bug Reports - Unibet Community

Fingerprint login not working on Android - Bug Reports - Unibet Community

Reason the above get priority is that impact is bigger overall, and for the 2nd one it's a bug that can be reproduced 100% of the time, so will likely be fixed much faster. For 3rd one, we've already done a fair bit of work and should be close to the finish line.

Any chance the table freeze looks like these 2 freezes? Triggered by something else obv, but does it act the same? where it froze, but buttons are still clickable for a few seconds animations still play out for a bit, and nothing really happens. Or is it completely different, every table instantly stops and turns white type of crash? The reason I'm asking is that it might not be a Mac only crash/freeze, but a more general issue that a lot of people are experiencing while playing (unrelated to the hand history issue in the videos, just looks the same at the tables).

Hey Feelsbadman, the tables and animations are indeed still working, but the tables/buttons become unresponsive.  So I do believe we are talking about the same issue, albeit I am pretty sure it is Mac/Sonoma OS related, as it is not the first time where I instantly have issues with the Unibet software after downloading the latest Mac OS.  The issue happens about every 10-12h of play or so, I would roughly guestimate...  GL friend 😎

Oh wow, never seen that one before, everything is working just fine, new hands are dealt, it's like the click listener just died, or maybe all mouse listeners. Kind of the opposite of our freeze crash bugs where clicking everything was fine but new hands wouldn't be dealt and button commands wouldn't be sent. Might not be a terribly hard one to fix when Relax sees the video

Yeah, indeed a very strange bug!!! 🙃  And I hope it is an easy/not lengthy fix, as I play a significant amount of Hexapros and lose a ton of EV having to relaunch the client 🙄

Alright, as I explained to Stubbe this morning, after I got another one of these freezes this morning - it happens about once per every 12-15 hours of play since the last Mac update, albeit it is obviously hard to establish a legit average, given the small sample size... -, I found myself obliged to shut down the client and reload again, but, the client unexpectedly crashed at this point and thus creating a "crash report" on my Mac 😎.  I really have no idea if this report will be useful at this point, given that it is not related to the freeze, but here it is!!!
