ello Metalwolf I read your blog sometime, and played with you couple of mtt tourney, under the nickname soupplease recently u maybe know me. Interesting hand and i alone dont know whats the proper play here so lets check it PF call with QJ, especially when we are at position isnt mistake especially when villain is calling very loose, we have a position Another alternative is to raise for isolating, but u must have further gameplan after, which would be folding to his shove, and be prepared to stack off if u hit the flop. Check on the flop is totally ok, there is a decent chance someone would continue after your c bet here. U decided to bet on the turn, from the reasons that on this paired board, there is a decent chance that all opponets misses, because of PF action. If u were on heads up, your QJ would have decent SHOWDOWN VALUE so betting would be a mistake. We have 4 opponents involved at pot, so chances that our Q hight will be good on river are much lower. Now villain who is calling loose called u on the turn. Most important question here is , what range do u think villain would call on the turn and fold on the river? Are there any hands that he holds and BEATS U ON THE TURN AS WELL ON THE RIVER, but he will fold after push? Will he fold, 7, 4, or so? Reminder, u are polarized here, and u are either very strong or very weak, doing this kind of play. Yeah you wanted to win the pot, but in this particular situation, its better to give up the pot. You Q high is still good enough vs some part of his range. He isnt folding a 7 many times here, as well as a 4. BECAUSE IN THIS SITUATION, IT DOESNT MATTER IF HE HOLDS 7 OR 4 OR 2 , THESE CARDS HAVE ALMOST SAME VALUE IF U KNOW WHAT I MEAN. So i kinda like your game up to the river. Cheers
