Help! Rules regarding red card?

Ive played over 3,5 cards i tonights game between Midtjylland-Nordsjaelland. Nordsjaelland has a red card without yellow before! Sent off after penalty!

Does ONE red card count as 1 card or is it "worth" more like 1 + 1?
