Final of the High UOS

Wow, what an exciting day 2 high UOS on Unibet yesterday. I want to congratulate everyone who cashed firstly. Secondly I want to congratulate David K Lappin for his 2 day stream railing his best poker buddy Dara O'Kearney even though he was still in and playing, his railing of Dara never faulted. Even when at the beginning of the streams we only had a handful of viewers, David carried on.

David bust the high in brutal fashion, but as the true professional that he is, he took a couple of minutes to release how disappointed at busting the high he was and carried on railing. The passion and belief in his friend was evident in his spectacular commentary. The passion and belief was real, the heart ache was real and you saw all that last night on the stream.

Then the hosts came in thick and fast later on in the night. I think we got over 200 viewers at one point. As we all know Dara can rock a short stack, and he did that quite a few times last night too. He is a total beast. He needed to win the UOS High to take the title, but this was not to be as he shoved pocket 3's into something, (Sorry can't remember am sure Doke will tell you as memory lacking) So he lost a massive pot. From this he was never to recover unfortunately and came a very impressive 3rd. So ended up second on the overall Unibet leader board.

David instead of shutting the stream down because Doke had bust, stayed loyal to the end and we managed to see the conclusion of the High. Congratulations to the winner.

Thank you so much for the great commentary, for the laughs, the highs, the lows and everything in between. Unibet has the best poker community for being supportive of everyone.

So looking forward to the next UOS which will be sometime in August and am sure Dara will win it next time.

Having 5 Unibet ambassadors making day 2 and 4 cashing is a fantastic achievement. A massive shout out and huge congratulations goes out to 2 of the final table finishers. @Psycho79 who was absolutely crushing it, only to have it all crumble in 2 or 3 hands, so unlucky Mike but really well done, and the one the only @maestro1908 who after only playing his first live tournament last year after binking a UK Tour package and coming to Manchester then binking another package to the UO Malta, only went and binked 4th for 6k! Not bad for someone who only started playing 2 years ago. What a heater he's been on, and long may it continue.
