homogeneous blind structure

Hi all,

We have been running all MTT's with two different blind structures since launch  last week.
But after some investigation as well as feedback from players we decide to use the same blind structure for all our MTT's.  This structure we chosen is quite flatter compare to the other one, this will give you much more playability in the tournaments.

This means that the length and playability of a tournament from now only can variance based on number of chips and the level-up time.
This will help all players to "get to know" the blind structure always used, our goal is that you in a few weeks will know it by heart

The changes will take place over the next few days, Sunday majors that are up in the client right now will not have the changes until following Sunday.

Below you find THE structure:

Can we have a homogeneous minimum starting stack too? There are 20 dailies and a Sunday major (based on the excel sheet I downloaded on the 2nd) that start with sub 70bb as a starking stack and of them 14 have 4 minute blinds, which IMO should be classed as hypers, not turbos.

I checked the 'big 3' and their turbos come in at 5/6/6mins with hypers being 3 minutes (not sure if Party has hypers). No matter what the speed, they all start with at least 100bb.

I can't see any reason in not have 100bb be the minimum starting stack for any MTT and possibly the 4 minute MTTs be reclassified as hypers with some being replaced with 6 minute turbos.

Have you read my blog HERE... It's long isn't it :)

In addition, the speed column in the client does not match the blind levels for various MTTs. Just now it has Turbo/Normal/Deep which doesn't make much sense as 'deep' doesn't really represent a speed, more of a starting stack. The client looks like the following for me just now (Times in BST):-

20:30 - €1 Meteor Shower - Speed: Normal - Blind level: 8 mins - Starting Stack: 1500 (50bb)

21:00 - €2 Singularity - Speed: Deep - Blind level: 6 mins - Starting Stack: 5000 (166bb)

21:15 - €1 PLO Fireball - Speed: Turbo - Blind level: 4 mins - Starting Stack: 3000 (150bb) * has 10/20 structure

21:30 - €2 Wormhole - Speed: Deep - Blind level: 4 mins - Starting Stack: 8000 (160bb) * has 25/50 structure

22:00 - €2 Wormhole - Spped: Turbo - Blind level: 4 mins - Starting Stack: 3000 (100bb)

It's very confusing.

I agree with @MoreTBC that classifying the 4 minute blind tournament as deep as it's speed is confusing. Was watching Onscreen and he was trying to find a turbo tournament to play but all he could find was deep ones, so he couldn't find anything to play, because he just didn't expect to have to click on every deep tournament to see if it's a turbo . He is probably pretty representative of how a recreational would interact with the software. They should probably be classified more by blind minutes rather than starting stack, or maybe by average duration of the tournament adjusted by field size.

As for the blind structure I'm glad that this is becoming the standard on unibet. The transition between levels is great.
