FeelsBadMan
SNG's have challenges nowadays just like cash games, you get challenge points when you complete those challenges in their entirety.
-Greg-
About these Major and Minor points for SnGs.Do they rise in value directly according to buy in? For instance, if you only played £10 sngs, you would get 10 times the points than if you only played £1 sngs?Or is it a different rising scale. FeelsBadMan
The difference is the rake paid on the sng you get points in. so in a 1€ SNG you will pay 5 cents, in a 10€ 50cents (so 10x the 1€) and in a 100€ 3€ rake (so 60x the 1€).
jonny2192
It is a rising scale but not to do with the buy in but to do with the rake paid, I can not remember if the rake the same % at all buy ins. -Greg-
I see. I was thinking about the husngs which all have 3% rake so with those always having the same percentage of rake then someone playing £10 games would get 10x more points than someone playing £1 games. Is that right? And if you changed stakes midway, without completing the challenge, then it would just take the average of the buy ins and adjust the points to that? jonny2192
Yes if the rake percentage is the same you will get 10x more by playing 10s compared to 1s.For mixing stakes, If we said there were 10 steps at 1e to get 100 points and at 10e to get 1000 points. Then if you divide the points by the steps,100 / 10 = 10 and 1000/10 = 100 and you completed 5 steps at each level you would get 550 points(5x10 and 5x100). -Greg-
Thank you Jonny & NMPfan. I though it might, just wasn't sure if it was on some diminishing sliding scale. They don't mention anything about rake paid on the website challenge page, or I totally missed it.
