@Jami-Unibet is there any update on my document verification. Also I would like a straight answer as to when they actually started the second part of the verification for the most recent documents as when I upload them, it reads documents being reviewed but this doesn’t initially mean they’re being looked at straight away does it. So if you can find out from that team when they actually started to review the documents if they even have started then would be helpful. And don’t reply with they are reviewing it now or they have started. I want details thanks.

Well it’s not good business the way we’re being dealt with either is it? Are you telling me you’d be happy in our circumstances and only being told “be patient” for the past 2 months? Is there any update in my situation please?

I have sent a complaint also. It’s getting out of hand. Over a month for verification, almost as they want us to give up and let them have this money.

I too had a credit balance of almost £1,000 and was mid-play when I was kicked out of of account, because Unibet had decided to request verification documents. Despite the fact that they were asking for a larger number of documents than any other casino (and I have had an account on many of them), I uploaded everything within 2 hours of their request. That was over 4 weeks ago, and all of the documents are still at a status of "Under Review." Every other casino of which I have been a member have been able to get through this process in a couple of days, using the exact same set of docs that I sent to Unibet. There really is no excuse for why this is taking so long.
As soon as the account was locked, I requested a withdrawal of my full balance. Unibet replied that I would be able to withdraw once verification was completed. I raised a complaint, reminding Unibet that the UKGC has issued very clear guidance that online casinos must not delay the processing of customer withdrawals due to verification documents having been requested, if the casino could reasonably have requested those documents at an earlier time. Unibet returned my money to the bank accounts from which I had made deposits the following day, even though I was still unable to log in and request the withdrawal from within my Unibet account myself; the complaint was enough to get them to action the withdrawal. Even though my account is still pretty much locked out, pending their review of the documents, at least I have my money, and can choose to take it somewhere .
In other words, if you have a credit balance then Unibet cannot refuse to pay you out, just by using the verification process as an excuse. They could - and should - request all of these documents up front. They know this, of course, and yet there are hundreds of postings here and elsewhere online complaining that the same thing has happened to them. It does not seem that fairness towards their customers is one of their highest priorities, does it?
Thank you for your information. You’re completely correct. I have seen and experienced other companies take maximum being lenient a week with exactly the same checks. For unibet to take nearly 2 months is absurd.

But what’s the reason for this prolonging. Even if it is complex surely not enough for it to take almost 2 months.

@ReCorpH any update on my documents verifications. I’d like to know what date they actually started viewing the documents to verify them. I need answers please.

it’s causing me stress also and I was going to do the same thing but why should I waste more of my own time and possibly money over something that’s promised will only take 14 days max (for complex cases). It’s pathetic, I’ve provided all details now how does it take them over a month now heading into 2 months possibly longer if we start from way back actually to verify documents. These people either don’t want to pay out or aren’t even doing their job. Imagine other companies, they’d have it done immediately or within the time frame given. These people are thief’s!

That’s a good idea because it seems nothing gets through to these people. I’ve tried live chat (they’re useless) I tried emailing to make a complaint which they didn’t allow me to do as they said I would receive an answer 2 weeks ago which was obviously a lie. It’s actually crazy.

Yes 2 more weeks it will be 2 months then that I’ve been waiting. They actually don’t care at all.
they need to fix up and do their job immediately.

Is there no way you can contact them? Because this has been ongoing for more than one month. I’m actually confused as to how they can take so long. I need my money back. Now they’re either avoiding paying out or just can’t do their job.

it has been over a month. I have contacted the gambling commission and will also contact my bank and a solicitor if needs be to escalate this issue. You don’t take over a month to look into documents as this is pathetic. You didn’t even ask for any verification before I deposited so obviously didn’t have an issue and then you were happy enough to let the bet go through so again when you had a chance to stop it you didn’t. Now I want the winnings. I’ve kindly obliged with everything so unless they have just recently just started carrying out the checks then it’s time for a legal matter.
I want an answer right away!!

Still haven’t. I’ve been waiting for over a month it’s actually ridiculous, I’ve been on live chat all the time they’re useless then on email one of them told me it would be done before the other weekend which was a lie. How long have you been waiting for yours?

Hi, is there any news on the verification. Please I need an answer as soon as possible. This is completely out of the ordinary for something like this to take over a month. I don’t want to make this public and take it further. I have been very patient and have sent all documents when asked. So now I need your team to do their job. If they’re looking at it how can a review take a month and more.

It has been over a month now since I’ve sent all documents that were required for verification and yet no answer. I’ve contacted live chat who were no help. I emailed and was told it would be done before last weekend however that was a lie. It’s been far far too long now and doesn’t take a month or more to finish verification checks and now I want an answer immediately because this is ridiculous.
