  1. Hey Guys,

I have a 250 Supermoon ticket which is about to expire within 7 days. It's hard to plan how many rebuys I might need in a given tourney so I haven't been able to use it so far and I'm already registered for the next one. Could you please extend it for me, please?

    Thanks in advance.

We'll be doing extensive crash testing the coming week. If you want to help, I've got a special client version (Windows only) which generates a file with crash details (needed for fixing the issue in most cases). Send me a PM if interested

I downloaded the special version from the dropbox. When would you like me to upload the file?

    Removed 🙂

I get where you're coming from, but:

    • It's never been the case that every receives the same
    • The players occasionally not being included in this promotion, they'll get more from loyalty than the ones that are included (not just absolute figure but also relative to rake paid)
    • The players occasionally not being included in this promotion, they'll be getter more from the leaderboard promotions than the ones that are included (not just absolute figure but also relative to rake paid - some exceptions here, but in general the statement is true)

Have to consider the full picture here and I stand by the decision. It's not impossible we'll completely pause the bi-weekly offers, when a promo like XP race is running, but it's not planned for now 🙂

    * I am pretty sure it has always been the case that everyone gets the same i.e all promos were always available to all players unless there were restrictions, segregations, licensing issues etc. from governments  . But in those cases Unibet cannot do anything. They have to exclude players if law says. (Or players were affiliated and benefited from extra rake races etc.) There's never been a case when Unibet themselves picked players based on any kind of predictions or assumptions, player profiles.

    * A poker player's profitability is almost impossible to determine. One can win all races and promos, finish the whole challenge and still be losing all time. Maybe he/she is winning in the first couple of quarters and loses throughout the year - and that's still short term. The way I see it, there is so much variance in this game that you cannot tailor rewards as such. Kind of ruins the game and makes players uncertain and disappointed at some point.

*Furthermore, there's always been terms and conditions. In this peculiar case could you explain that:

-How long does a player need to be inactive to be re-eligible for the sendout?

-What is the threshold a certain player may need to reach in a certain promo/what rake amount is the max?/number of hands or flops played in a given period of time/in order to be still be eligible for the sendout? I'd rather have the sendout than a promo to be honest and just slow down and know the rules. Still sounds a bit strange. There are so many questions to be asked at this stage.

It's like when Pokerstars introduced that the more you play the harder it is to complete a chest reward. But that's not by players for players.

*Regarding affiliation it's very much like when 2 people do the same job at the same company but one of them were brought there by a special agency through which he/she earns more. How can you create a healthy environment by that at all? Very similarly, how can you tailor rewards when there are so many factors to consider? I guess it's a huge trainwreck long term. This is a zero sum game, if everyone did the same the poker room would win and everyone would lose the same. You're trying to create an artificial environment? 🙂

In the end what's going to win is what the game is all about. And that might very well mean that the online poker business entirely shuts down as poker rooms had false thoughts about the game.

  4. I think a promo should be either for everyone or no one. Affiliation messed it up, some players were receiving more than others just because they were lucky to create their accounts from the right link. These sendouts were given to increase the volume we play - I guess - as the more we played the bigger the bonuses we got. Obviously, if I rake 4-500 or even more a day I am likely going to finish in the top of a given promo. It is quite disappointing that now we're told: because we're expected to finish in the top we are not eligible anymore. It's like giving with one hand and taking with the other. Still amazing rakeback that's true. But the way this promo is presented is definitely not the way to go long term, in my opinion. It's great that we have these flopraces, bootcamps etc. so this one should be included for everyone as well - or cancel it if you think it's too much. I'm glad that affiliates are banned so know Unibet can treat everyone as equal - it's the game of skill I don't think it's an option to personalize any kind of  reward. I really appreciate what you're doing here for players and it's probably the best poker site out there so I don't mean any harm at all. 🙂

Another few changes made to this setup. Main one being: when we run promotions like flop race, Hexapro races or XP race, the players expected to get a decent RB boost from those leaderboards, they'll be excluded from the biweekly sendout while the promos are running.

You mean totally excluded? Would you consider giving a lowered bonus in these cases rather than totally excluding players? I think this is a very good promo and there could be a cap on how much players can receive, kind of an average sum. It’s only when we finish in the first few places that it matters but totally excluding players would be very significant compared to the chance of finishing in the top few places in a promo.

  6. Hey,

I am being very curious about this as I have also noticed some strange players using very strange lines almost all the time in the same spot. It's as if they were a stupid bot or something showing up with hands that make no sense in that situation. I'm wondering if the original poster is talking about the same guys. However, I did not notice or suspect collision, but they were constantly raising ip in 3betpots and check raising turns after bet/calling the flop with total air hands. It's very exploitable, though, but it's something I haven't seen throughout the year before. Maybe just new players being stupid aggro but them using the same raise and bet sizes in the same spot is somewhat unusual to me. It makes no sense what they are doing but they're doing it in an organized pattern almost all the time.

  7. Is it a possibility to remove the upcoming 500 bonus and add the sendout? I guess if I were about to reach level 6-1 now I'd have received the appropriate amount but given that it's in the upcoming list then I am not eligible.
