If the players support the qualifiers then the GTDs will grow. Nothing is fixed here but I'd rather go up than down.

There has to be a reason for us to intentionally offer tournaments that overlay. There has to be a means to an end. Generic qualifiers for tickets that can be used on any tournament do not do that. Taking up schedule space with 3 different Nano buy-in levels doesn't do it either. The Nanos in general don't really do that. When I looked at the data, players were not moving up and were happy to live rent (rake) free while Unibet took the cost.

As Jerry said previously, the 20c tournaments for 4 and 6 1 euro generic tickets very rarely overlaid, if at all. So even though they were rake-free, I can't see that they really cost Unibet anything. Your data may be including some of the other less popular nano tournaments that didn't often break guarantee.

I don't think anyone here is saying "give us generic ticket qualifiers that overlay". I think they're saying "give us generic ticket qualifiers".

Just the kind of feedback we're looking for 🤝.

I'll be completely honest here and say I had no idea we even had 20c qualifiers and completely ignored them while making the new schedule. We're not trying to cost cut or anything like that, it was just an oversight in the schedule creation.

This is also the reason why we have this thread, because we knew I'd miss things players would see instantly and we were prepared to make quick changes when they made sense.

    image.png.c4d75ceaceb73460f5172e2c14e0c360.png

Times are in BST (or GMT when the clocks change) and it's very likely some of them will go away if they frequently don't start but we'll try and keep them all in if players support them.- The first level in both of these types of qualifier are 10 minutes long to give players a chance to get into them with a decent stack. It's something we're testing so I'd love to hear any feedback anyone has on them.

The new schedule isn't about removing things or making things harder for certain players of specific buy-ins but it was about stripping things back so that every tournament in the schedule was worth having, it's as appealing as possible to the most players and it's simplified and easier to understand. We'd rather have less tournaments overall but have them offer more in terms of prizepools and/or ticket GTDs so they're more appealing to more players.

With regards to generic tickets, it doesn't really help anyone if we generate 20x €1 tickets a day and they end up as 1 buy-in for 20 different tournaments when we could have 10 buyins go into 2 tournaments to help with GTDs or know those tickets are going to help start qualifiers at the next level. We know that means it's a little more restrictive for players, which is why tickets bought from the bonus shop will remain completely generic, but the goal is to try and maintain and grow the majors, and in turn, the rest of the schedule.

It might not be the intention to make things harder for micro-stakes grinders, but it still does. Thank you for taking feedback on board, but the previous 20c satellites to 1 euro tickets had four and six ticket guarantees; and you could just play the 1 euro ticket in something, which you won't be able to do anymore, you'll have to play another satellite to qualify to a major.

Ticket Buy Tickets GIF by The Comedy Bar

    Time for another ticket competition!

Predict the total number of buyins (including rebuys) in the very first €10,000 Title Fight tournament and get tickets for the rest of the week! - 6 tickets of €50. If no one predicts the exact number of buyins, there'll be two €50 tickets to the member getting closest.

You have until Sunday 23:59 to submit your prediction in this thread.

NB we've currently got 99 Title Fight tickets in the system.

  4. My apologies for this delayed reply about the rebuy dialogue obscuring the number of chips, Stubbe.

I don't need to be mass-multi-tabling for this to be an issue (although lots of people *do* mass multi-table). This only needs me to be interrupted by *something* so I don't see the outcome of the last hand I played for it to be an issue. I'm not sure what you mean by having a "window" open for each tournament; of course I have a table open for each tournament, but I don't necessarily have the tournament lobby open for every tournament I'm playing, I just open it when I need to see it. However, if I *do* have a lobby open for every tournament I'm playing it could take a while for me to find the particular lobby I want and see how many chips I have, and by that time the rebuy could be timed out.

For an example of why this is a problem, consider what happens if I am in a rebuy/addon tournament, with a smallish stack, and I go all-in shortly before the add-on break. Then something happens that means I don't see the outcome of the hand; another table demands action, or something happens in real life to distract me. Then the table where I went all in presents me with a rebuy dialogue, and I don't know whether I won or lost the hand and I can't see how many chips I have. If I can't really quickly find the tournament lobby then I have to rebuy to ensure I'm not kicked out of the tournament, because I might have no chips.

But I might not have lost the hand, and it could be just the rebuy dialogue that appears before the add-on dialogue, and in that case I have just rebought unnecessarily.

    Many thanks,

  5. Hi Andy,

I understand that you must be incredibly busy what with everything!!! But might I suggest you get the communications out and the tickets issued to those people before the end of this working week? And when you do so that you post an announcement on Community saying that communications have been sent out and tickets issued?

I say this because, with the best will in the world, mistakes may happen, and a few people might not receive their tickets; and anyone who doesn't receive a ticket needs enough time to a) realise they have accidentally been left out, and b) contact Unibet to get the issue resolved before the target tournament takes place. I would expect Unibet to be even busier when UOS has started, hence my suggestion to get the comms and tickets out this week.

    Many thanks and regards,

    Pianocat

  6. This really was great fun!!!! Thanks so much to @ReCorpH for setting up this impromptu homegame, and to Unibet ambassadors Ian Simpson and Dara O'Kearney for being good sports and joining the game with bounties on their heads, and hanging out in chat.

This made for a great Twitch stream for @AntManB with a high point of 52 viewers thanks to an awesome big raid from estonianjesus, and has brought Anty up to more than 50 followers, giving him the stats he needs to apply for Twitch affiliate status.

Congratulations to @AntManB also for his deep Supernova run, making seventh place!

  7. Ahem. That's Lord High Lady Empress PianoCat. 😉

Why are there no cat emoticons here?

I had intended to be incognito for the UK final on Sat but accidentally played with my community alias because of being in the Davitsche league at the same time, which was a lot of fun, and with people in chat railing the UK final and sending messages of support. ❤️♥️

Somehow I got a package anyway despite my catfishy identity being displayed!

I'll be taking my package to the Newcastle stop, and trying to bink more packages to take there. Have another four €50 UK tickets in my stash...
