  1. I'm seeing a lot of players disconnect and reconnect atm, including myself. (This is not happening on other poker sites or in my regular browser.)

I'm assuming there is issues with the servers?

Could be a good idea to pause tournaments until this is figured out.

  2. @Stubbe-UnibetThanks for taking the time to look into it.

They have now raised my deposit limit to 2000 euros per month which is inconvenient but not the end of the world.

This decision will force me to keep a larger bankroll on the site once I've ran it back up to prevent having to redeposit and potentially running into situations where I can not play again. (Again, not a good look for you as an operator altough this effect is most likely unintended.)

Ultimately I would like the deposit limit removed entirely. (Or at the very least raised to something reasonable like 10k euro per month.)

They've taken into account my proof of liquid funds when placing this limit, but I'm sure that my explanation of being a pro + winning on the site (unibet must have extensive records of this) is being entirely disregarded when placing this limit. Losing players and winning players are almost certainly being viewed under the same lense here.

Who is ultimately making these decisions? This still has not been communicated to me.

It seems to me that the swedish account managers are working closely with a newly found swedish regulatory gambling institution called "ansvarsfullt spelande". I believe this institution was created by the state in tandem with the decision to disallow operators to offer multiple bonuses or rakeback to swedish customers. The people making the decisions within this institution seem to me to have a very poor understanding of the gambling landscape. (The decision to forbid rakeback being a blatant example.)

The swedish account managers are either very restricted in their ability to communicate with the ultimate decisionmakers or they themselves lack understanding for customers like me aswell. (I'm assuming the former.)

I'm hoping this mysterious process will improve, altough in my experience generally when it comes to institutions like this it's naive to be an optimist.

  3. Got some help from live-chat and uploaded a few documents with proof of funds so hopefully this will get resolved sooner than later.

The questions still remain though; how can you justify setting such a minuscule deposit limit on a player that is up multiple hundreds of thousands of euros on the site, and a proven long term winner in the games. With justifications of "Dont gamble over your limit" type arguments. It's been over a week since this shitshow started and now will likely take several more days for these final documents to be reviewed. Just praying that they wont come back with something like: "Congratulations, we have now raised your limit to 1000 euro per month" or something similar. Please just remove the limit all together.

  4. I don't know what's caused this recent wave of verification requirements but nonetheless I've finally completed it and got it accepted.

I have been playing poker professionally for almost my whole adult life and did not have any income to show beyond that. Im up hundreds of thousands euros on this site alone. And now that I have to refill my bankroll the swedish support team (or whoever makes these decisions) decided it was a good idea to set my deposit limit to 200 euros per month. I've already explained my situation in detail to them but they do not seem to understand or care. I literally cant play the stakes I normally do with my current account balance, and without a reasonable deposit it's going to take some tedious spinning up in order to get back to the point where I can work and have it be worth the time investment.

Now they have told me that proof of liquid funds above 100k euro is required in order to consider moving the deposit limit higher.

What is the reasoning behind this policy?

Luckily Im in a position where I can provide that (but have not yet recieved instructions on how to do so), but what if I wasn't? Do you just not want pro's playing on the site anymore? Every pro does not have 100k liquid laying dormant in a bank account.

If anyone could help me out with this as soon as possible it would be greatly appreciated, as the swedish support team have stopped responding to my emails for the day.

I would like to work tonight if possible.

Thanks and all the best, Guldet

  5. I'm considering moving to Austria for a while. Is it possible to convert my swedish unibet-account to an austrian account while I'm there? What would that process look like? It's not possible to earn rakeback rewards with a swedish account and I'd like to be able to do that while living in Austria.

    Thanks a bunch, Guldet

  6. Yes that does indeed seem like collusion. Should be very easy to investigate considering they probably play a lot of sng's together. Most likely their funds will be seized and the players who have fallen victim to their foul play will be given some kind of compensation. (That's how other sites have handled it in my experience.) 7. Hey.

Just won a ticket to the unibet open Dublin 2020 last night and saw the ticket in my inventory. I could not find where to register and accidentaly bought in to the "UNIBET OPEN DUBLIN PACKAGE DIRECT BUY-IN" thinking that it will use my ticket. It took money from my account instead. Would appreciate it if someone could unregister me from this "tournament" asap, return the money to my account and instruct me on how I should use this 2k-ticket. (I've recieved no email instructions so far).

    All the best, Emil.
