  1. I like the direction that this UOS took in that it had fewer r/a's. I particularly think the major Sunday events benefit from not being r/a (as some haven't been this UOS) since they're headline events that people get most excited to try and qualify for and/or take a shot at.

I agree that r/a are bad for recs for the reasons OP explained. I'm not against having some in the schedule, but it's hard for a rec to be able to qualify for a major r/a when in order to play the event comfortably, you need to budget at least 3 and possibly 4 or more buy ins. The format particularly excludes people wanting to take a shot above their bankroll given it is unknown how many bullets will be needed.

I also disagree that the only way to build prizepools is through r/a's. Plenty of other sites reach sizable guarantees without this format and there isn't a reason Unibet couldn't also.

  2. Hey everyone!

Just a post to let you all know that I’ll be grinding the entirety of the upcoming UOS over on my twitch channel: twitch.tv/iansimpsonpoker

I will be giving away tickets to our €25 Weekly Simpson Special regularly on the stream too.

I’m excited to see how high up the leader board I can get this time around!

Gl if you’re also chasing the extra value!

  3. It's the start of the Unibet Online Series that has €21k in extra leader board prizes.  I'll be playing and streaming the entire series and trying to win the overall leader board.

Also, tonight I'm playing the $5,300 WCOOP (That's buy in not guarantee!) as well as the $530 WCOOP. $5k is the biggest buy in I've ever played online so It'll be an exciting stream.

I'll be live on twitch.tv/unibetpoker and twitch.tv/iansimpsonpoker every night for the next two weeks, starting tonight.

    See you at the tables!

No read, no specific behaviour before.

Well, the two callers obviously have a hand that's somehow attractive, but not good enough to raise with. Mostly it will be connectors (including 1-gaps), then suited cards with a minor chance for a small pocket pair. AXs, 76s, KQo, JT to name a few.

So the options are: Fold, call, some small raise or all-in.

3 bet jam all in. Flat calls aren't traps a high enough % of the time for me to worry about that, and the opening raiser can fold a lot of equity with A9o KJo  type hands to make this a very profitable play.

I wish an ambassador would joining here not for the giggles   but making hand analysis at least 1 in every two weeks.

I’m more than happy to analyse people’s hands. I do so on my stream regularly. Just come by and ask.

@Livertool - I don’t know where the Trump comment came from. I mean people who resort to name calling when losing a hand of cards.

  6. I didn't engage with you on an intellectual (🤣) debate on the hand because people like you are the reason Unibet doesn't have chat boxes.

"and comes here to brag about it." - no, someone on my stream invited me here for the giggles we've all had at your analysis/tilt.

@freedom totally agree about the luckbox/calling station analysis.

  7. From Friday night up until the end of the Unibet Online Series I'll be live on my channel, and occasionally the Unibet channel playing the entire series and trying for the added leader board prize money!

    Twitch.tv/iansimpsonpoker

    Twitch.tv/UnibetPoker

Let's see if I can get a podium finish in this series!
