It would be constructive to point all these like-minded people to this thread so we can get their feedback. It would really add some credibility to some of these sweeping statements you make.

FWIW on a personal level a lot of what you advocate is good for me. I am super comfortable playing all stack depths and some of the regs that play banzai are comparatively weak deep. I almost never choose to reset stacks but believe the functionality should be there for recreationals who are playing the format because they want to play shallow and gamble. I also think it is good for the ecology of the game for recs to be able to book some profit and be able to carry on playing. It'll make it much more likely they'll play again in the future. If a rec plays, and gets absolutely destroyed right off the bat it makes it much less likely they'll play again. The likelihood of this happening is going to be higher if they are forced to play deeper with much better players. The recs who want to play deep can still do that.

You might be defending it because more regs are out due to rake and more fish are in, you are thinking of yourself but I am thinking about the experience of the game and everyone I know that plays it says it is now a much poorer experience, which it is.

So the game has gone from being almost unbeatable with barely existing edges due to the rake increase (as stated in your earlier posts) to me defending increased rake because the games are now more beatable given the more favorable rec- reg ratio? I'm sure @Stubbe-Unibetwill be thrilled about your change of heart.

But regardless of what is capable to win why would you want to make a game that everyone enjoys more shorter stacked and shorter handed.
You could say people are enjoying the game more because the traffic is up, but the traffic is just up a lot because having banzai in the unibet poker header makes a massive difference.

The game is definitely a poorer experience for both reg and Rec now that games break quick and games are shorter stacked.

If the game was kept the same and the rake went up I would have accepted it, and the traffic would be up a lot anyway due to banzai being out on header, so games still would have been better

Why would a business invest into and promote a game variant that is going to make them less money than other formats? It is only logical it came with a rake increase.

You have made it very clear you prefer deep stacked poker. There's a wonderful format called 'cash game' that you might enjoy. Banzai has literally been created to appeal to a different demographic who prefer the shallow fast paced game.

  4. I tend to put volume in on sites when an offer that interests me is running. The 1000x multiplier hexapro games guaranteed in X number of games is one of my favorite promos on any site anywhere. I personally prefer the jackpot in X number of games as opposed to timer. Especially as it feels like timer always drops late but X number of games can drop earlier. I only realised this promo was on towards the end of the world cup but enjoyed it. Would definitely be keen to see it happen more often.

  5. I see no problem with ratholing. There are players electing to play banzai because they want to be all in more often and have that rush. If they wanted to play deep stacked poker they'd join a cash table. If a recreational player doesn't feel comfortable playing at 50bb-100bb they should be able to reset to a more comfortable stack. I actually don't see a problem with letting people reset as much as they want.

  6. Plenty of names I've seen aren't fighting themed, Morgan Bankroll, Ben Stealer, Allin Ripley to name a few and I've only played four tables.

I think there's going to be a limit of good ones that are only centred around fighting depending on how many people play so it may have to be a little more general or have duplicates.

I think a lot of names in the above posts are good but shouldn't they be Banzai or karate or judo or fighting themed? 🤔😂

Ideally yeah, may have forgot to tell her that though 😅 And I wasn't inventive enough to come up with fighting ones myself!

She googled poker terms for inspiration 😂 But some of these are pretty damn good.

  10. Maybe you could have it where the avatars at the table have different states. When some guy is running hot his avatar is really zen. When he's on a cold streak his avatar is angry and some in-between. Any little additional features that casino players will enjoy to keep them coming back.

  11. The demotion idea is really good. I think with sensei being fairly easy to get to, it devalues it a bit and makes it less interesting for the casino players. Once they've made it to sensei they've basically completed it and might not come back. Getting sensei should be an accomplishment and very hard to do. The kind of thing you might only be able to get once or twice a month if you played every day. I didn't play long enough to see if going up the ranks takes longer but I think this should be the case. Move up the first few quickly then each subsequent one is slower. Losing your ranking would make it harder and give games more replay value. It would make it more personal when you do lose that all in which I think would be good for the games and fits the fighting theme.

I don't know if this is something that could be implemented but i think it would make it more fun for recreationals. If you show someone a bluff for a pot over a certain size you can derank your opponent or make them lose some points, or maybe you get double the points on your quest to move up the ranks.

The most important thing for everyone is that this appeals to the casino players so everything should be designed to maximise enjoyment for those players and to provide replay value so they keep coming back.

  12. I look forward to seeing what promotion ideas you have for them. Is there plans to run one there soon with the games being new? I think the rake is perfectly reasonable and the games are certainly still beatable. Sky poker offers similar games with higher rake and regs still win. Games are generally self regulating anyway. If rake is too good the games are tougher and if it's bad the games are softer. I see this is a big improvement. Auto rebuy is a must though.

  13. Glad that I've seen that, didn't realise how common the 125x games were, 1 in every 500 games on average vs 1 in every 20,000 games for regular 100x. That actually makes the Saturday promotion much worse value for money then I thought as the jackpots aren't dropping significantly more often than usual and you bleed so quick if you aren't hitting the jackpot games. I would definitely have preferred it if it kept the same payout distribution as regular hexa's but a more turbo variant. Still if it works out at 3% rake on Saturday's I'm sure a profit margin can be eked out, especally with rakeback and it'll be more exciting for recs getting in the big games more often.

Could I please have a link that shows the % rakeback at each tier.

The rake will be around 3% when the boost is active. However, due to an issue the rake this and last week is less than 0% - don't worry, will be fixed next week 😉

I hope not, got  destroyed today with negative rake!

Is there any way to see multiplier distribution, like in regular hexapros?

  15. These daily specials have definitely renewed my interest in the site. Only played the Banzai and Hexapro extreme one so far (only just found out about it yesterday) and really enjoyed them. So rake in hexapro extreme works out at 3%? Will likely end up dabbling in all of them, omaha aside.

Just a general question, will the hexapro 1000x promotion ever make a return?  One of my favorite promotions on any site, ever.
