  1. Thank you for the frank and honest reply.
  2. "Whatever the faults with on line freerolls or play money, I generally dislike criticism because posters seem to forget they are getting a wonderful opportunity to play, amuse and educate themselves for free, and that is something to appreciate". Perhaps you did not quite grasp this paragraph in my post (?), so I hardly need steering towards positivy. The point made, which sparked my reply was the interest (and in my opinion tone) of the freerolls has lessened. As for my point (and others) that the frerolls now take many minutes to fill, lets have a moderator confirm what I and others have stated. Or I can cite a tourney and time when registration remained open for an extended period. Nothing to do with positivity (or not) but simply fact.
  3. I honestly did not want to comment again, as I was the first to remark/question the 'temporary' removal. As the Unibet reply was prompt and positive, I chilled but as more days turned to weeks I admit to being frustrated. I think there is evidence of a self inflicted black eye on two fronts... UpizGaNY- you are correct in noting how the interest in freerolls has diminshed significantly. I live half was round the world in a very different time zone and registration is still available 20 minutes later after opening at certain times of the day. Prior to this period registration would be full in seconds. A secondary consequence which I made note of in my first post, is the entire vibe of these tourneys has declined dreadfully. We are all aware there is a sort of free-wheeling agressive bent to playing in freerolls. However it now appears people are so frustrated they play in an angry, even spiteful mood. Repeated all-ins or just sitting on the clock running the time down, over and over from the very outset of play. Its left such a bad taste in my mouth I can hardly be bothered to check in anymore. And, the negative feeling frustrates me. Whatever the faults with on line freerolls or play money, I generally dislike criticism because posters seem to forget they are getting a wonderful opportunity to play, amuse and educate themselves for free, and that is something to appreciate. But in this case, it feels like an odd, negative situation with little attention being paid.
  4. As a relative newcomer to the site, I am a little sheepish to take a strong position. I really enjoy the mix of bounties and prizes/tickets in the freerolls, but I think there it would be interesting to see a mix - some tourneys purely bountie oriented and others bounties and prizes. Since the bounties have been (temporarily removed) I feel play has markedly degenerated as the number of prizes/tickets is limited. It appears many players can't be bothered to patiently play through the tourney and the number of all-ins early days is absurd. With the bounties in play people are to a degree more measured and you have an incentive to keep playing astutely- one can keep picking up additional bounties along the way. That said, I genuinely feel excited to make a final table, receive tickets and use those for more serious puposes. I am not sure this helps the debate much other than saying I like the mix...the bounties along the way to a possible more 'serious' prize/ticket. I know the two combined (bounty and MTT ticket) encourage me play more strategically.
  5. Thanks for the reply and clarification- much appreciated!
  6. I am curious regarding... "Bounty Freerolls temporary replaced". Obviously they were not replaced but removed and as each day passes it feels this might have been a permanent decision. It is interesting to note in the announcement it states 'hopefully' they will return soon. Though it did not occur to me on the first day 'hopefully' is a hedge is it not? It is not saying the bounty element will return as soon as technical problems are resolved, for instance. As noted, I am curious, has the bounty element been permanently removed with the 'Replaced' annoucement made to soften and deflect the blow? Any further clarity on the matter?
