Didn’t use bonus but couldn’t withdraw

So I joined and got the free £50 bonus, I took my £10 deposit up to £250 but wasn’t allowed to withdraw as got the message ‘not enough funds to withdraw’. Even though my balance was £200 and my bonus balance was still £50. So do you have to use the £50 up before you can take anything? As that’s what I’ve done and lost it all to try and use up the bonus.
