Down to our final six players after a shock river card

Action folded to local player Babis Lappas who moved all-in from the BTN. Ben Tahvonen had a smaller stack in the SB and had a decision to make with Dymek the table short stack in the BB.

Ben decided to under call Babis' shove and the shorty Dymek folded.

It was AA for Ben and KQo for Babis. Ben announced he was hoping to trap Dymek but his plan didn't work.

The flop came A J 3 rainbow giving Ben top set and Babis a gut shot straight draw.

Babis called for a '10 ball' on the turn but the 4 ♥️ was revealed. He once again asked for a ten before the river was dealt and the whole table was shocked to see his request come in as the 10 of spades hit.

A horrible way to exit for Ben who achieved his 10th live cash of 2017 and 5th final table finish!

He takes home £2,080 for 7th place and we look forward to seeing the Unibet ambassador at the EO Open in Bucharest next month.

Double!

Colin Bidwell raised to 150k from UTG and Shaun Woodford obliged to call in the BB.

The 2 ♦️♠️♥️ flop prompted a cbet from Colin for 350k.

With Colin sitting with just another 400k behind, Shaun moved all-in and was snap called.

Colin had the over pair of Aces and Shaun had flopped second pair with 4 ♣️♣️

The turn 6 ♦️ and river 2 ♠️ meant Colin, who has $66,255 in live tournament earnings to his name, got a much needed double with a better two pair combination.

Last longer winner Dymek exits

The winner of the Unibet online qualifier last longer competition Robert Dymek has departed in 6th place after Tom Simm woke up with pocket Queens on the BTN.

Dymek moved all-in from the CO and Simm re-shoved.

Woodford and Bidwell got out of the blinds and Dymek tabled Ac Js.

Simm flopped top set and Dymek was drawing dead by the turn.

6th place is good for £2,720 as well as his 2000 euro EO package.

We look forward to seeing Robert in Bucharest.

Short stack Woodford doubles

Shaun Woodford has found a double from the SB. With blinds at 40/80k he shoved into Colin Bidwell who called in the BB with AJo.

Shaun's Q2o was shown and the board ran out 9 ♥️♣️♣️ Q♣️♣️

Neither played held a club for a flush leaving Woodford to double with two pair.

Bidwell is now sitting on 1.3m and Woodford close to 1m.

Sachin Joshi is the chip leader with nearly 3.5m

Woodford finds another double up!

Shaun Woodford moved all-in and was called by Babis Lappas with A9o.

Shaun was massively behind with K9o and the flop came QQ9. The turn was a 10 and the river a King to give Shaun a better two pair at the last.

Babis Lappas eliminated in fifth place for £3,350.

Local Brighton player Lappas is the next player to depart after a run of unfortunate all-ins.

After losing on the river to Woodford in the previous hand on the blog, he then saw his A8 beaten by Tom Simm's KQ.

This left Babis with just half a big blind and one hand to avoid an exit.

His 63 suited went ahead of Colin Bidwell's AQ on the KJ6 flop but an Ace on the river was enough for Colin to knock out Babis in fifth.

Shaun Woodford claims fourth place for £4,430

Tom Simm has sent Shaun Woodford to the rail and is up to 2.5m.

His A10 hit on the 10 3 5 6 5 board vs Woodford's AJ meaning despite his earlier run good he was unable to hold this time round and departs the UK Tour Brighton in 4th place.

We are down to our final three players in Simm, Colin Bidwell and Sachin Joshi.

Colin Bidwell has gone from the short stack to chip leader in the last 30 minutes of play after a brave river call against Sachin Joshi.

On the 6 ♣️ 2 ♦️: 10 ♠️ flop he called a 175k cbet and the turn went check, check on the 6 ♠️ turn.

Colin lead for 100k on the 10 ♥️ river before Sachin raised to 600k. Colin instantly called and tabled KQo to win the pot after Sachin showed J7o.

Tom Simm was just at risk after calling Sachin's shove.

Sachin moved all-in from the SB and Tom looked down and made the call.

Sachin held K2o and Tom was ahead with KJo.

Tom sealed his doubled by turning the nut straight and is now sat with 2.3m.

Colin Bidwell has eliminated Sachin Joshi in third place after flopping top pair.

The flop came A 3 5 diamonds and they got it all-in with Colin holding A4o and Sachin K ♦️♠️ for the flush draw.

Colin Bidwell is the winner of the Unibet UK Tour Brighton after a tight and entertaining heads-up battle against Tom Simm.

Both players, alongside third-place finisher Sachin Joshi, take home £11,540 after they agreed to a deal an hour into three-handed play.

The final table came to a head after Tom's 3bet all-in with pocket fives was called by Colin who held Qh 10c.

The flop was safe for Tim but the Q of clubs on the turn meant Colin took the lead and held on the K of clubs river to claim victory.

Colin also takes home the 2000euro EO package!

It's been another fantastic weekend of poker here at the Unibet UK Tour and great to see the records being broken once again.

Also, it has been a pleasure to see so many familiar faces and community members playing and participating in the Unibet events.
