Well, it matters to me. It´s not the end of the world and my head is definitely up, but for me poker is also feelings and I play to win. When a guy risks his tournament-life and not getting paid, in "bubble-time", with A8s, it´s frustrating losing with AK suited.
If I had played it differently he would still have called after the flop since there was both straight and flushdraw for him as far as I can remember.
Personally, I would have folded A8s at that moment of the MTT. I would have folded a lot of strong hands if someone was all in before me.
During a game I always take one or two (maybe stupid) chances, luck is a part of it, but not on the bubble.
I see a lot of horrible play, and way too often it´s rewarded with runner runner for a straight or a flush and the beforementioned gutshot for straight rivered. (between two other players).
Just gotta take advantage of it I guess, but it´s hard when the algorithm works against good play. 😉
