  1. WE’VE INCREASED THE GUARANTEES!! Details in this new piece on Pokerfuse: https://pokerfuse.com/news/poker-room-news/218467-unibet-poker-boosts-tournament-guarantees/
  2. Love this idea. I think a 2-day tourney would suit most people best and allow for a slower structure. Finishing at ~midnight Sunday and playing out on the Monday is a nice way to do this.

  4. Hi Christian, I was alerted to your post by a colleague and obviously you have requested a Unibet response which I'm sure they will deliver but I want to assure you that I played my hands with only my equity in mind. In the first one, I was obviously intending to check-raise both turn or river. in the second hand, I put most of my chips in pre with queen high- the reason I do this rather than shove is a strategic one that I actually explained in real time on twitch at the time ( Ian Simpson's stream). Once that run out plays out I literally beat nothing and I know Dara has no hands that call the preflop bet that I beat. Therefore my best scenario is to fold and hope that there is a bust out and i ladder before commuting my last few chips. I believe that Ian has this stream recorded so me speaking my thought process is on show
  5. Come rail the Unibet Poker sponsored European Deepstack event! I'm in the box with The Tower! https://www.twitch.tv/dublinpokerfestival
  6. Hey everyone! Got back from Paris a few days ago! Thought I would miss my flight due to being in hospital but got released with a few hours to spare. On the upside I got to celebrate my live turbo bowlcomp victory with intravenous morphine. The festival was a huge success and for this, a huge shoutout to Kasia and her team who I know put in Trojan work. Next and final live stop of the year for me in EPT Prague where I will potentially play the National, Highroller and Cup. On the Online side, the cross-platform Hexapro launch has been smooth and is already making those games very soft and well worth a spin. Congrats to Kris Bergvall for making this happen. It’s great to see a site trying to convince punters to play poker rather than the other way around. Content wise, I’ll be taking a short break over Christmas but we still have one more episode of The Chip Race in the can which I am editing right now. It’s going to be a HUGE show with 4 big guests so watch that space! The plan is to drop that episode on the 16th of December. There will also be a YouTube Strategy video coming out on the 13th.
  7. It will be my aim going forward to post here at least once a week so feel free to AMA and I’ll hopefully reply quickly. A quick update on the latest happenings. The Chip Race has wrapped for another season. Season 10 is our biggest to date so that’s heartening. We will be dropping a new animated strategy video (TY Willie Elliot) tomorrow so I’ll post a link here when it’s out. Season 11 is likely to start sooner than originally planned because Dara and I are keen to follow up on #Dealergate and we have booked newly crowned WSOP POY Rob Campbell for what I’m guessing will be a fun interview. Other than that, I’m looking forward to Unibet Open Paris in two weeks time and hope to see many of you there.
  8. Hi PRSQUACK! While I accept that users here don’t speak to sponsored players here, many of them do speak to us on other platforms. The forum is only one aspect of Unibet’s community. Ian and David V are engaging with the Unibet community on Twitch most weeks, several days a week. Dara and I engage several time a day with the Unibet community and the wider community in general on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. I will admit to not being much of a forum user in general. I spent years posting on poker forums but came to find it a slow and less effective form of discourse. That being said, I am happy to try to engage more on this platform and would be delighted to take any questions that you have for me. I will also start a thread for me and another for the Chip Race where I will try to post the latest stuff that is going on.
