Just did a Windows update which seems to have solved it, no idea why it suddenly stopped, but all sorted now

Never had this issue before and haven't changed laptop, but now when i log onto the client and try to open a table (any kind) the client instantly crashes, says it's no longer responding and closes. I've tried restarting laptop, uninstalling and re-installing software.. nothing seems to make a difference. Been playing on here for months and never experienced this, not sure what to do, had to play on my iPad last night, hoped it would sort itself out, but same problem today.
