  1. Nice hand, would be interesting to see what the gto solution is, to at least act as some guide to the decision here. I’d play pre, flop and turn the same. Not sure about river sizing. Villain has big nut hand (strong flushes, boats) advantage, impossible to know how big but could be two or three times as many combos as you, and player pool tendencies are not to turn made hands into bluffs. We have to have a folding range, I’m struggling to think of any bluffs in your betting range, and the weaker value hands (KQ, trips?) are much better bluff catchers ; JTs might be your worst hand to call with, I fold. In villains spot i think best bluffs might be A3s, 77cx, TTcx, JJcx, AxTc, AxJc, AcQx, think I’d pull the trigger on a decent number of those. His hand is very out of line, as you said prob an exploit based on your river sizing, and quite a good one, until you called 😀
  2. Games have gone pretty well, and liquidity has been good enough to 12 table mainly 10s and 25s, occasionally a few 4s at start of session. Bankroll is at €1665 fun hand Villain in hand was tough overall, seemed to perceive me as maybe overfolding flops, so I think his small preflop sizing makes some sense. Think I would have gone larger to try and win preflop, 94o seems ok to sometimes do this with, but not a great hand to be playing postflop. I’m limping a lot of my range from sb. My flop lead is a misclick. Villains float is ambitious, feel like there’s better spots at the table than me (I hope) to be doing this kind of stuff. villain gets what I think is a terrible turn card to bluff, but fires anyway, think this is an easy call for me on the turn. River is fun, prob bad play from both of us. Villain has to have trips or better to shove for value, that’s not many combos, and he’s aggro, so I call? Villains hand has to be a poor candidate to bluff, no flush blocker, and he blocks 64.
  3. Yeah was neoElvis, shit you have a read on me 😀
  4. Regs doing stupid things Will try and post some of these when they happen, and I include myself as a stupid reg since I don’t think I played this hand perfectly. Villain is a reg at 10s/25s, overly lag but not the worst reg in these games. Options to 3bet, flat or shove here. Halldir is lag reg, no reads yet on other players but player pool contains some special players that could have atc here. Pretty happy with this sizing, I can sigh call to a shove from halldir. This sizing is to induce mistakes from btn or sb, would expect TT to be far in front of their rejam range and allows them to peel with their worst hands, where small flop bets can induce weak players to blast off. But, the least expected outcome happens, this looks like a trap.. So halldir has AA right? That’s the only hand that makes sense to me. Was confused by this spot in session, I shoved, think this is a mistake, what worse hands call? Knowing this players tendencies check shove is better, maybe even checkfold but I’m not good enough to do that. oh-kay then. Games not dead yet.
  5. €4 5man sng results: past vs present Thought it might be interesting to compare a sample of results from 2016/17 (?) to a current sample. I quit playing the 4s around 2017 as the traffic at that time was good enough to support 12-16 tabling at 10s+ 2016/17 4euro, €0.49/game, n=6840, roi 12.2% Inc rb €0.55/game, roi 13.8 2022 4euro, €0.50/game, n=660, roi 12.5% Inc rb €0.53, roi 13.3 So, pretty much identical (can’t be that confident due to sample size). I think my skill level now is about the same as it was, suggest that game quality at 4s is about same as five years ago, surprising I think given that current liquidity at 10s+ is terrible compared to 2017, would expect that to force better players to play the lower stakes. Unibet player pool might be overall softer than 5 years ago due to changes in countries that can/can’t play on the site. The Grind Bankroll now at €782 from 12 tabling a mix of 4s and 10s, will now add 25s to the mix. Playing a couple hours when I can in the evenings, even in these peak hours liquidity is a struggle and I will still have to play some 4s to get to 12 tables.
  6. Nice results, about €1/spin profit, is that right, do you track your hourly at all? Dont play these games at all but I’d guess the jump in skill level from 10s to 25s isn’t too bad, would imagine the quirks of the hexapro format, and the lowish liquidity at 25s means a lot of the better players are playing on other sites at this buyin level.
  7. Have run pretty good, br at €412. This has come from 10 tabling the 4s. This evening, started to mix in the 10s and 12 tabling. Not sure what hourly this equates to, maybe €12/hr from playing 4s, which is better than I was expecting from this buyin level, obv sample size issues. Plan to start adding 25s once I’m at €750 br. is it possible to request results from unibet still, couldn’t see anything thread about this? Think I can L5 on the rewards scheme, any idea what this translates to as a rakeback % ?
  8. I’m certainly concerned that it’s possible to one table and input into solvers in real time, making them free removes any financial barrier to doing this, and it’s hard to detect. As for free solvers levelling the field, it will have an impact but maybe not huge, those committed to improving will have bought solvers years ago. There’s a long journey from downloading a free solver to learning a solid strategy that you are then capable of applying reliably. Most give up, or aren’t capable of getting there and just introduce new leaks in their game. Thoughts of a “feel” player, so maybe I’m wrong 😀
  9. Will continue grinding the 4s until I’m up to €300 bankroll then start mixing in 10s, currently at €150 br. Standard of reg play at this level might be worse than ever, which is encouraging for once I’m back at 10s and 25s. @FreedoM I’m sure there’s more money to be made for the best hexapro players than in 5man sng, but it’s a big strategy shift, I would need to start over basically, and a lot of the edge I have in sng is from understanding ICM pretty well. @CuteRavenmight be a week or two before I’m back at 25s, hopefully I can help with the liquidity, certainly will prioritise Friday evenings, historically I thought this was best time of the week.
  10. Back to the grind. Was the highest volume 5max sng player on the site, Its been two years since I last played, aside from a couple of sessions here and there. I work in the game integrity of an online poker operator so whilst I do study strategy as part of my job it’s not focussed on these games…I’m very rusty. Haven’t been all that interested in playing, but having some work done on my house, extra cash would be nice. Starting point is about €25 and T€50 left in my account since I last played. Goal is : Starting at 5max sng €4s rebuild my bankroll, strategy and multi tabling skills back to the point that I am comfortable 12 tabling the highest games that run; liquidity looks considerably worse than 2020 so this will be a mix of 10s and 25s I guess, and achieve €20/hour minimum. So far. Played a couple evenings at €4s, first 6 tabling, yesterday 8 tabling, and will go to 10 tabling today if the liquidity is there. Bankroll is at €95
  11. you started the year as a beginner at 1euro sngs and you finished with 8k profit, pretty great results, plenty to build on. There's no easy money in poker, the years highs and lows (real and perceived) will make you better prepared for next year, it never seems to get any easier unfortunately.
  12. Promo Results and Review I’ve pretty much finished with the promo, games aren’t great this week and I’m kinda burned out as I’ve played about 120 hours poker alongside full time job. Have got results from unibet, not quite the detail I wanted but still interesting I hope. So, headlines, most generous sng promo I’ve ever played went about how I expected. Results for the entire month, including all leaderboard money, non promo days at beginning of month. I 12-tabled and mostly played the 25s aside from a few days in week two where I played 50s and ran bad/was overmatched. games played 2712 total buyins €68587 avg buyin €25.3 profit €6862.37 avg ROI €2.53 avg ROI 10.1% hourly rate €58.1€ im happy with how things went, hard to judge but felt like overall I ran at about ev. Promo saved me about €3k in fees and added another €730 in leaderboard prizes. Some talk of sng’s are dead, so how would my results look taking away the promo benefits: profit €3510 (assuming 5% rake, and 25% rb) avg ROI 5.1% hourly rate €29.7 So, I think that’s still pretty decent, of course the liquidity has been key to profits this month, many mediocre regs have moved up from 4s/10s and been profitable only because of the value in the promo, these guys will drop back next month and liquidity will fall off. week 1 Played a grand total of one 50, determined that the player I wanted in the 50s wasn’t there, and played rest of week at 25s. Took three afternoons off work, played about 40 hours total, felt like I ran not great aside from a 4 hour period on Friday night where I had a €1600 upswing, which was fun. Came 4th in leaderboard for €350 after unibets double payment, and won another €2600 at tables. Games were soft, one reg is a big spot for me, he was at most tables, I’ve said this is worth more than a -30% whale and this was an understatement. I think regs in the games will know who I’m referring to, I went after him in almost every hand he vpip’d, he definitely caught on somewhat by week 3, sizing tells and being hugely unbalanced when checking can be exploited with ATC for a lot of $$ week 2 Realised an exploitable reg was 50s, so played a few hundred 50s and filled with 25s in first half of week. Didn’t go well, think I lost money at the 50s, was very swingy and exhausting as there was typically at least two players at each table as good or better than me. Prob ran bad, but would have been better sticking at 25s I suspect. Came third in leaderboard for €250 and made about €100 at tables. week 3 Didnt play much, liquidity wasn’t great but games were softest of the month and I ran super hot. 4th on leaderboard for €175 and another €2775 at tables, 500 games for an ROI of 23.5% week 4 Havent really played, game quality and liquidity has been poor. Lost €200 at tables and will prob just lock up a top 20 finish for €30 leaderboard.
  13. @Andy-Unibet i did also try going through CS just now and as I suspected from previous experiences, they always say it's impossible. I'm already on your to do list I think, if you could get my results that would be great.
  14. Perhaps this isn't the place for results requests anymore? I've posted in 2+2 thread, but if this is still active, can I get my sng results split by stake for month of October, please?
  15. If anything I was being conservative in the value an exploitable reg adds, but I'll review this a bit more at the end of the month. Anyone know best route for requesting results from unibet, I see the poker results request thread is perhaps not being monitored at the moment?
