Greatest poker/casino/betting memory: For me, two stick out more so than many others. First one is finishing 2nd in my first ever real live poker tournament, with a field of about 100 players. The second one was my first ever bet on a tip from my father, Ajax to win 3-0 vs Panathinaikos in the 95/96 CL semifinal.
Pets: My dog, Kobe.
Hobbies: Mainly most things basketball – coaching, watching, playing, and reading about it. Hanging out with Kobe. Playing poker.
About me: My favorite thing has always been sports, I’ve enjoyed playing basketball, golf and American football, all on a competition level while growing up.
Background: I used to play poker for a living while coaching basketball on most evenings. About two summers ago I decided to move to sunny Malta, where I now live with my lovely girlfriend and have been working for Unibet about a year and a half :smileyhappy:

A couple of years ago, I played on an electronic roulette in Barcelona, where the ball was spinning automatically with no dealer and each player had a screen to place their bets. My intention was to bet €1 on red 3 but I accidently ended up betting €12 on the outcome and I had no idea how to undo in Spanish.. What happened – The ball hit red 3! “Luck is no coincidence” :smileywink:
Pets: Had a Rhodesian Ridgeback as a kid and I'm looking forward to have a family dog in the future.
Hobbies: Doing all kinds of sport activities as long as it includes a ball, PS4 and teaching Stubbe how to play darts once in a while.
About me: I used to work in all kinds of places, from cooking to telemarketing and it was quite a coincidence that I started at Unibet back in 2014 - didn’t actually know what I wanted to do at that time but I’ve always had an interest in sports and betting. Playing as a customer, I needed help from customer service to get a bet settled but instead of opening the live chat, I clicked on the wrong button and got to the application site. I saw a way to start working for a company that suited well to my hobbies and here we are! :smileyhappy:
Stubbe - Community Manager, April 2016 - July 2017.
Languages: English, German, Danish and a bit of Swedish and Norwegian.
Music: Anything but heavy metal. Primarily listening to hip hop, house and dubstep, and if I have to select a group/band, it'll have to be the Danish hip hop group Suspekt.
Movies: Inception, Shutter Island, Interstellar and really any movie with a bit of violence.
Television: GoT, Breaking Bad, Shameless (the US version), Banshee, Modern Family, Walking Dead.... watching a lot of series :smileyhappy:
Sports: Football, free diving, handball and darts.
Favorite team(s): There's only one team: Die Königsblauen/Schalke 04.
Favorite bet type(s): Anytime Goalscorer, Over/Under and Asian Handicaps.
Favorite casino game(s): I'm not playing a lot of casino, but I recently won more than € 200 on Gonzos Quest, when I was testing out a competitors casino, so I'll have to go with that one.
Greatest poker/casino/betting memory: Quite a few moments come to mind, but there's one moment where it all came together; when Schalke won 2-5 against Inter in the Champions League quarter-finals 2011. Schalke was 7,55 (131/20) to win, and I had a decent amount on them. Schalke got off to the worst possible start, when Stankovic scored from the middle after just 25 seconds, but with 3 goals in the second half, they managed a historic victory and later on a place in the semi-finals against United.
Pets: Grew up on a farm, so I've had a lot of pets. Coolest one definitely being a tame jackdaw bird, which would come, when you called for it. Today I don't have any pets, but I'd like a dog sometime soon.
Hobbies: Diving, writing (poetry and political articles), gaming (Fifa on PS4 and CS Source and Battlefield on PC), entrepreneurship and beating Marco in darts and Jeppe in poker.
Background: I started playing football when I was 5, and I've been into sports for as long as I can remember. The day I turned 18, I opened an account with several bookmakers, Unibet obviously being one of them, and I've been playing ever since. For some time I had my own blog with Bundesliga picks, and I was a Bundesliga expert at the largest Danish betting community as well. When I was done with upper secondary school, I wanted to move abroad, and a move to the land of bookmakers, Malta, made perfect sense. I moved to Malta to work in Customer Support for Unibet, and 8-9 months later I moved on to work with data and service improvements in the same department. I've also worked as a Customer Experience Analyst in London - also for Unibet - and now I'm the Customer Community Manager. Before joining Unibet, I was self-employed, primarily working with project management.
