Awesome.....Just won a UK Tour Package last night, which is my first ever online package win ever.

I could never win a package on Pokerstars or any other site due to all those poker tools that player are using these days.

So it looks like I'm going to Brighton this March, am I right that there's a Day 1a and Day 1b and the final is day 2, in these tournaments ?

If so can I choose if I want to play Day 1a or Day 1b ?

Do us quailfiers get a hoodie ?

Thanks for any replies

Karl

Am I right in understanding that UK Tour Qualifiers attending would be entered into a "Last qualifer standing" who would win a Unibet Open package ?

Also who ever wins a UK Tour leg will also win a Unibet Open package too ?

If so, then that is very good value added to these Uk Tour legs 😃

Are these up for grabs this year ?

Yes there is normally a lost longer for online qualifiers and a package for winning the event, usually when it gets to the final table David asks all the online qualifiers if the winner is an online qualifier are they happy with the last longer package goes to 2nd place of the last longer, If everyone agrees then if there is an online qualifier as the winner then the next last longer would get a package rather than the winner getting 2.

You can exchange UO tickets again all is unicorns and rainbows in Unibet land.

@testuser1  Are you gonna post all the information about the UK stop in Brighton in  here ?

Do we have a limit date to set our choice for the package (i'm not sure to go to brighton, until when can i chose ?)

Do you have hotel info for the brighton stop for accomodation ?

Is there gonna be special community events ?  Live coverage ?

I have so many questions still ...(first package ever, i'm stressed :) )

Thanks for your answers :)

Sorry for the late responses

We'll refresh the info on the site page next week but ideally if you can let us know at least a week before the next event that you'd like to move the package to later in the year then that'd be great.

Do you have hotel info for the brighton stop for accomodation ?

I should have this next week, at which point we will send an email out to all qualifiers listing some options.

Is there gonna be special community events ?  Live coverage ?

There'll be a live blog and social media updates (we finally have the Social Media for Poker position filled as of 3 days ago). I'm also working on a live stream for the UK Tour events but that's not finalised yet.

I'll be more active in the community again now so if any more questions come to mind please feel free to fire away :)

Thanks for the dates. Are these set in stone so it's safe for us to book flights trains and hotels? Or should we wait until nearer to the time?  This is particularly relevant for the Glasgow leg as I believe that flights will be cheaper in advance especially as it's a bank holiday weekend.

I'm sure there will be a festival running during a week at Brighton and a side event on the Sunday but I'm awaiting more details from the casino.

The dates for the Glasgow leg have moved to 2nd - 4th June to avoid a clash with the UO that in May. The first leg dates are set in stone and won't change and there ate no plans to change dates of any other legs - the only time we will is if a UO clashes (we had to do this with the December 2016 Manchester leg). I'm trying to get info on all UO dates for 2017 now so for now I would only go ahead and book trains for the Brighton and Glasgow legs.

Will update in here as soon as I have more info. The site page should be updated in the next few days and all current qualifiers will receive an email with more info for Brighton next week.

The site page is finally up to date and now has dates for each event in 2017:

https://www.unibet.co.uk/promotions/poker-promotions/uk-poker-tour

We're also going to be working with Main Event Travel who will be helping to put together some hotel options for players at the events. If you'd like some help from them to find good hotel deals for the UK Tour stops then just shoot them an email: events@maineventtravel.com. We're also going to be keeping the 'online qualifier last longer' promo this year - longest lasting online qualifier at each event wins a €2k Unibet Open package :)

Just a curious question from me....

I love to know on average how many quailifers play in UK tour tournaments and how many direct buyins also play these tournaments ?

If I can get an average number of qualifiers playing then i can guess the chances of winning a Unibet Open package....lol

Never been to a UK tour tournament so I don't know how big or small are the numbers that end up playing, can anyone enlighten me to facts & numbers

Thanks

We had two stops in Brighton in 2016 due to the fact we couldn't get a stop in London and one of them was the most successful (in terms of numbers) so decided to stick with that formula.

We normally have around 50 online qualifiers in each event, with roughly 30 actually attending (if a player qualifies online, doesn't move their package to a future event and doesn't turn up then their buyin still goes into the prizepool but obviously they can't win the last longer). Overall we normally have between 200 and 220 buyins altogether (I think the biggest prizepool we generated was £48,000).
