Possible Tour locations ?

Recommended Posts

I'm fairly new to this community and so far I like the feel of it.

Am just wondering if the Unibet Poker Tours would or ever go to Dublin ?

Was going to go there for EPT side events couple years ago,  but hotel completely messed up my booking and I had a complete meltdown over it, and never went...lol

I have only heard good things about it, and am looking to go there in the future.

Are there any other locations that others fancy going to, with UK Tour or Open Tour ?

Thanks

A quick google says there was a UO Dublin in 2011 so they have definitely been before. Sounds like a good stop to go to though :)

I think all the tour stuff will get announced in January although Andrew did say on 2+2 he was supposed to get the info "before Christmas"

Have you read my blog HERE... It's long isn't it :)

TBF Andrew didnt say which christmas @MoreTBC 🤣

Think we are lookin at London/Copenhagen/Bucharest/Malta/Carribean for Opens.

UK tour Brighton/Nottingham/Manchester/Glasgow if they do same as this year.

You can exchange UO tickets again all is unicorns and rainbows in Unibet land.

I like some of these stops mentioned London/Copenhagen/Bucharest/Malta/Carribean for Opens.

Malta and far away Carribean is a bit harder for me to get to.......medical stops me from flying.

If I want to go to WSOP Vegas, I have to go by boat...lol

If I fly there I'd be dead on arrival...lol

Looking forward to see where the announced stops will be for 2017.

@Storm76I can't fly more then 2 hours due to my legs, I'm more inclined to have DVT and it can be fatal.

So with the % not in my favor I tend to refuse to fly, and go by boat, train, coach, bit of a grind but at least I know that I get there alive...lol

Ahh Dublin, my first Unibet Open :) Whole thing was done here http://www.citywesthotel.com/ it was pretty nice experience.

Now as the year comes to an end I follow my year-end tradition of constantly checking Unibet Open website/facebook/twitter for news about stops in the next year.

Unibet follows its own tradition of delaying and delaying this information ;). I was trying to find some external information about possible tournaments, sometimes there can be something on pages of casinos etc. (I think one of past Copenhagen events I found this way).

I found this news from DK page from September:

http://www.pokerlistings.dk/store-chancer-for-unibet-open-i-kobenhavn-ogsa-i-2017-55189

Anyone can translate better than Google? ;) Seems Copenhagen might be a stop again in 2017.. which I don't like personally. Second relevant clue would be that the tournament outside Europe in 2017 might be in Asia? What are you thoughts on this? Anyone has any inside information ? :). What would that be, Macau? I was hoping for Carribean return or something similar  to be honest..

@GotWhatItTakes I think there is almost no chance for that since the Unibet Deepstack is going to be there. It would be strange to do 2 tourneys at the same place.

So maybe thats why they liked all the stuff there ;)

Wow, I didn´t know about a Unibet Deepstack event.

That´s great, do you have any information about the event, like where you can qualify online etc.?

The DSO qualifiers are unibet.fr think thats the only route via online sats.

Haha, no problem @VikingsAF😃

If its not ok to drink today it never is 🤣

My suggestions for UO 2017: London (well that is easy :geek: ), St. Martin, Copenhagen, Bucharest. I hope there will be 5 though.

Would be great if there will be a stop in Canada or the USA, but I guess thats not realistic :waterfall:

NO MORE HALF-MEASURES.

London is indeed obvious :p Copenhagen seems to be aswell if we may believe the website of the casino. Bucharest could be, because of the new partnership, but maybe they want to add something new (or something that's already longer ago), because if it would be those 3 then only the final would be different :o

Edit. USA seems to be difficult with all the regulations they have there I think :s and for Canada, that could be possible, but I doubt aswell since Unibet their main market is in Europe :s

Well, don´t give up yet. Maybe they will do something spectacular at the end of the year when it is cold in Europe but it is not in other beautiful parts of the world. :)

Don't get my hopes up for UO Chernobyl...

We're gonna win on so many levels! We're gonna win, win, win. You're gonna get so tired of winning, you're gonna say: "Mr. President please, we don't wanna win anymore, it's too much!" And I'm gonna say: "I'm sorry, we're gonna keep winning because we're gonna make America great again!"
