Secondly - welcome to Day 2 (the final day) of the Unibet UK Tour Manchester leg here at the 235 casino.

55 players have made it through all in the hope of winning the top prize of over £12,000 and title of UK Tour champion!

Unibet poker ambassadors and Unibet e-sport ambassadors have both made it through to today, and will be looking to push on and make an impact early in the day. Espen 'UhlenPoker' Jorstad has the biggest stack of the Unibet team, with 250,000 in chips.

Play is about to start, with the blinds at 1200/2400 with a 200 ante, and as always be sure to get involved by liking and replying to the blog!

Bad start for Rauno

unibet-uk-poker-tour-2017---manchester-day-1a-048_24058122827_o.thumb.jpg.a85870cc5f1fdf420ceb22747d1fe7e0.jpgUnibet poker ambassador Rauno Tahvonen has made a rough start here on Day 2, after he was on the wrong end of a 200,000 chip pot.

After a raise in the HJ, Rauno 3-bet in the CO to 13,000 and the HJ called.

The flop came:  A♠️ 4♠️ 8♦️

The HJ checks, and Rauno makes it 8,500, to which the HJ then raises to 22,500, and Rauno calls.

Turn: J♦️

HJ continues his aggresion by betting 35,500 and Rauno counts out the chips and calls.

River: J♠️ Board: A♠️ 4♠️ 8♦️ J♦️ J♠️

The HJ now snap shoves in his last 66,500 and Rauno goes into the tank and after a couple of minutes deciding, the clock gets called on him by another player at the table, and by the time the TD Doug got into the final ten seconds, Rauno reluctantly folded.

So not the best of starts for the Estonian, but what sorts of hands are we putting him on that think that long on the river and then fold? What hands do we think the HJ has? Let me know be replying to the thread.

NMPfan with a solid start

unibet-uk-poker-tour-2017---manchester-day-1a-045_25051283328_o.thumb.jpg.260d723a18adb40e35acf6d792b3a8ce.jpgWe are into the third level and close to the first break here in Manchester, so I thought I'd give a rough update of where the Unibet players had got to so far.

Unibet community player Adrian @FeelsBadMan Nica has made the best start after getting up to over 270,000.

We lost Unibet e-sport ambassador Craig 'onscreen' Shannon earlier on in the day but as of yet he is the only Unibet related player to bust. The rest are still in the field, here are their chip counts:

Adrian Nica @FeelsBadMan - 270,000

Espen Jorstad - 230,000

Vinod Jadav @pirahn - 100,000

Ian Simpson - 85,000

Dara O'Kearney - 58,500

Fabian 'Kioshima' Fiey - 56,500

Fredrik Bergmann - 55,000

Rauno Tahvonen - 40,000

Blinds are currently 2000/4000/500, and will be going up to 3000/6000/500 after the next break which is around 30 minutes away.

We lose Bergie...and Iany!

unibet-uk-poker-tour-2017---manchester-day-1a-028_38922618261_o.thumb.jpg.ddd62e3c7fa72c95fcf8e5a82d4b6572.jpgSo, just after my post about the Unibet players stll being in there, we immediately lose two ambassadors!

Both Fredrik Bergmann and Ian Simpson have busted here on Day 2 of the UK Tour stop in Manchester, and just like that we're down to 36 players and 16 away from the money.

Bergie whittle down after losing a couple of pots to short stacks, and eventually found a spot with 33 against J9 suited, only to be sent packing by a flopped flush.

Meanwhile Ian had also whittled down to around 6bbs after a few pots hadn't gone his way, and eventually got his money in extremely good with 77 against 66, but a 2 outer on the flop saw Ian on his way too.

Rauno busts too!

25068763488_5f482887e8_o.thumb.jpg.0862b1db2c63f09c9a685ac68e474d0e.jpgWe lose another Unibet poker ambassador here in Manchester.

After losing that huge pot earlier in the day (see earlier post), Rauno struggled to get things going the way they did on Day 1B. He saw a spot in the SB after a button open to 9,500. Rauno shove with Q♣️ 8♣️ and only 60,000 (15bbs) behind.

The button - Tomas Kotlovsky quickly called with A♠️ J♦️, and after a board of: K♦️ 7♣️ 6♥️ 2♥️ T♥️ was dealt, Rauno was out.

Well done to Tomas, who wins himself an online €100 ticket after winning the bouny on Rauno's head.

Players are now on break for 20 minutes, when they return the blinds will be 3000/6000/500.

Day 1B chip leader is out!

38943792681_b3a0ef4d39_o.thumb.jpg.6992d2dd2860d8ab597de01b3dbd8d06.jpgWe are losing players left right and centre here in Manchester, one of whom was the chip leader at the end of Day 1B!

Nathan Slater had over 250,000 coming into today's play but finds himself busto, seven places away from the money. A lot of people will probably be surprised that he could bust such a huge stack so quickly, but the deeper a tournament gets the more swingy it can become.

Other bustouts include Unibet community player Vinod Jadav or @pirahn as he's better know here, meaning he won't be able to add a cash here to his Unibet Open Bucharest cash.

In other news, Dara O'Kearney has doubled up to just uner 200,000 after the standard pre-flop cooler of AA vs KK worked in his favour.

@FeelsBadMan is also leading a comeback charge after doubling up to around 120,000.

The tournament average right now is 225,000 as we enter the final three tables.

We're in the money!

unibet-uk-poker-tour-2017---manchester-day-1a-050_27148633249_o.thumb.jpg.67d7d6857fb45c158386a2d1181f7760.jpgWe are down to 20 players here in Manchester which means that all the remaining players have locked up at least £450.

On three seperate occasions, Unibet poker ambassador Espen 'UhlenPoker' Jorstad had someone all-in and at risk, and in one of them he doubled up Walter Black who won an ambassador bounty yesterday. Eventually though on the third time of asking, Espen's hand won, meaning the bubble had burst.

Well done to Espen Jorstad, Dara O'Kearney, Fabian 'Kioshima' Fiey and Adrian Nica (@FeelsBadMan) who have all secured the min cash.

Two left in qualifier last longer

With 12 players remaining here in Manchester, two of them qualified online and as a result, they are battling it out to last the longest and earn a package to the next Unibet Open in London in late February.

Adrian @FeelsBadMan Nica and Bartlohiej Grabowski, Day 1A chip leader and chip leader coming into Day 2 will want the other player to bust (in the nicest possible way) as soon as possible so they can win that package! Good luck to you both!

We lose Uhlen Poker!unibet-uk-poker-tour-2017---manchester-day-1a-050_27148633249_o.thumb.jpg.44b15c769d6c3cc68f00b11196ff0631.jpgEspen Jorstad has busted the UK Tour Manchester leg in 11th place.

He got his chips in with AJ against the AK of Michael Gilbert, and after the board came A 3 4 T Q, Espen was on his way to the payout window. He collects £680 for his 11th place finish. GG Espen!

That makes Dara O'Kearney the longest lasting Unibet poker ambassador, so well done to him, and also good luck to e-sporter Fabian Fiey, and @FeelsBadMan who are still in.

Final table!

24097269677_4285bd1be0_o.thumb.jpg.79084067419ad47dbaac4bffeb3706b5.jpgWe are down to nine players here in Manchester after Unibet e-sport ambassador Fabian 'Kioshima' Fiey was knocked out in 10th place.

Fabian takes home £910 for his finish and will be bitterly disappointed he didn't make the final table. However he should be extremely proud for coming this far.

Nine players remain with their eyes on the top prize of £12,300, and those players along with their chip counts will follow:

Michael Gilbert - 1,311,000

Katarina Khytushko - 1,159,000

Michal Mozdzierz - 872,000

Jorge Reyes - 576,000

Bartlohiej Grabowski - 485,000

Adrian Nica @FeelsBadMan - 469,000

Chris Roberts - 342,000

Dara O'Kearney - 245,000

Andrew Johannsenn - 170,000

Blinds are currently 12,000/24,000/3,000. Good luck everyone!

Early FT drama

The final table has not been going long, and already there has been a change in stacks.

Michal Mozdzierz passed over 500,000 chips to Jorge Reyes after his KK was no match for the 22 of Reyes that turned a wheel.

And not long after, the short stack Andrew Johannsenn doubled up through the only female player on the final table Katarina Khytushko, after his KQ beat the 66 of Katarina on a K T 9 7 4 board.

Reyes now has over 1,000,000, and Andrew has around 350,000, meanwhile Michal is down to just over 300,000 and Katarina has dipped just below the million mark.

We have our first casualty here on the final table, and it is Unibet poker ambassador Dara O'Kearney that has bitten the dust.

In a blind on blind confrontation, Adrian @FeelsBadMan Nica shoved Q4 into the short stacked Dara, who quickly called with AJ.

Dara was ahead all the way to the river, when a Q hit, meaning @FeelsBadMan pushed on to over 700,000, and Dara unfortunately finished in 9th. He does take home £910 for his efforts and still played very well to get this far.

GG Doke!

Two knockouts have just taken place in on the final table in back to back hands.

Firstly, short stack Andrew Johannsenn got his remaining chips in with AQ, only for the big stack Michael Gilbert to have AK and hold to take his stack to over 1,500,000.

And then, Michal Mozdzierz busted to Bartlohiej Grabowski in a standard flip which saw Bart's AK hit against the JJ of Michal.

Payouts:

Michal Mozdzierz - £1,580

Andrew Johannsenn - £1,120

Well played guys.
