Lappin folds the Djangos24889251898_c1e8d1d222_o.thumb.jpg.e60b051b233c32cad2b9ba891ec61969.jpgUnibet poker ambassador David Lappin would have been hoping for a better start here in Manchester after having to fold K:Spades: Kx post flop in the first level.

After the LJ made a 6x raise to 300 and the CO called, Lappin 3-bet his pocket kings from the button to 1200, and the LJ responded with a 4-bet to 3700, to which Lappin called, in position.

The flop comes A:Spades: T:Spades: 6x. LJ c-bets for 2600, and Lappin calls, as his K:Spades: provides a decent blocker at this point to go along with his pair of kings. The turn came 8x and the LJ then barrelled for 7800, to which David reluctantly folded.

So David has taken a slight hit early on here in Manchester, but it's nothing that can't be repaired as we are only just entering the second level.

Uhlen loses battle of the blinds

Espen 'Uhlen' Jorstad has just lost a significant pot blind on blind, after it was limped to him in the BB at 50/100, to which he made it 350 and the SB called.

The flop came: T♦️ 8♦️ 8♥️

Playing in flow, the SB checked to Espen who c-bet for 225, and the BB called.

Turn: K♦️

Espen then bet again after another check from the SB, this time 700. However, the SB didn't call, he raised to 2100, to which Espen called.

The river came a 3♥️ and the SB continued his aggresion from the turn with a 4000 bet on the river. Espen thought about it and eventually called, only for the SB to show his 8♠️ 6♠️ for flopped trips. Espen quickly mucked.

What do you think of this hand? What sorts of hands do you put Espen on when he calls the river? Comment on the thread with your thoughts.

Floor to table eight!

Craziness ensued on table eight moments ago after a ruling was made by a floor official which meant a player had his stack in the middle utg for around 80bbs!

Neil Maher was playing with his stack and not paying attention to the play in the hand when his stack was seen to be over the line - which certainly made it look like a shove. After two other players folded, Anthony Barnes in MP raised to 300, as by this point Neil had brought his stack back behind the line and continued to play with it.

Confusion arose between the players and eventually the floor was called.

After a brief explanation from the dealer and the players at the table agreeing the what had happened by Neil utg was a genuine mistake and that he didnt mean to put 80bbs in utg, the floor official had to rule it as an all-in as the players chips were over the line when he had cards in front of him. Even though the players at the table were simpathetic of Neil's mistake, they also agreed this was what should happen.

So Neil's chips are ruled to be in the middle, and Anthony Barnes quickly reshoved, to which the rest of the table folded.

So, on their backs was called...and what do they have? The same hand! A♥️ 6♥️ vs A♠️ 6♠️

The board ran blank and both players were happy to chop pot, as were the rest of the table. A nice end to an otherwise crazy five minutes!

Iany on his second bullet36800364985_b6538c75f1_o.thumb.jpg.767691fbdb1febe5e3ff2a5ea469c8f1.jpgUnibet poker ambassador Ian Simpson has busted and re-entered here in Manchester after a bluff gone wrong.

Catching up with him after his re-entry and table move, it's apparent he made a bluff attempt with, in his words, "all the blockers" but still got called.

Unlucky Ian, hopefully your second bullet can go a little bit better.

Whitehouse looking for another final table

Andrew Whitehouse or @MetalWolf as he's known in the Unibet community is also playing here tonight at the 235 casino Manchester.

With the blinds at 100/200 he has just under starting stack at 24,000, which is 120bbs.

He will be hoping he can run deep like he did at the Unibet UK Tour in Nottingham, in which he final tabled and finished in 8th place for a nice cash of £1,000.

He is one of a few community players that will be playing over both Day 1A and Day 1B here in Manchester.

Bergie takes down a nice pot

Unibet e-sport ambassador and e-sports Battle Royale Bucharest winner Fredrik Bergmann has chipped up nicely as we approach the mid-way stage of Day 1A here in Manchester.

After a CO raise to 800, Fredrik flatted the SB with J♣️ Tx. The BB then 3-bet to 2200, to which the CO and Fredrik in the SB both called.

The flop came T♣️ 4♣️ 3♣️ and Fredrik checked to the pre flop aggressor in the BB who c-bet for 7,000. The CO folded and Bergie then shoved all in, and the BB snap folded.

So after a slow start to the day, Fredrik now has around 31,000 in chips which is just below the tournament average.
