loyalty shop

As a 2+2 reader I have heard that Unibet's loyalty shop may arrive later this year. If this  gossip comes true what would you put in your basket? A cash bonus, poker tournament tickets, gift cards (stream, amazon) cool poker stuffs like decks or tables, hoodies or something else?

Feel free to add any suggestions!

My personal favourites are a loyalty program in which you can accumulate your points all from Unibet products(sportsbetting, bingo, casino, horses etc) and a poker ticket smasher option where you can exchance you tickets with one or two clicks. And maybe the horse seeker opportunity in which you can "sponsor" another players for an MTT. You could set in the tour your horses name and the percentage of the future winnings you want back. If horse clicks on the Ok button the system will reduce the sum from your account and if horse finished in the money system also splits the winning. So fraud would be excluded.

I think the shop is only going to be related to poker things and I'm sure Andrew has mentioned in the past that merchandise is probably not going to happen because of shipping costs/taxes etc.

Have you read my blog HERE... It's long isn't it :)

Yes, I think too that the shop will focus on poker only but I hope Unibet can make the same thing like the bwin shop in which you were able to earn loyalty points via casino/sportsbetting next to poker too. But if you and shop really will focus on poker a poker bonus gift card (a flexible playthrough bonus  means you can use it to all type of games but you should met the clearing criteria to get the money from it) would be nice. I don't know how taxes/shipping cost wroks, I only wrote what I saw in other loyalty shops from the luxury car to the gift vouchers.

There are other sites (like Pokerstars) where you have a shop with points that you've to earn by playing. You can buy tickets for tournaments, but also stuff like pokertabels and chips. But the shipping taxes you've to pay yourself.

Another possibility is a loyalty meter like Napoleon Games has. Here you get points by betting, casino, ... . But you can't buy gift with it, you get a (5-10-50-...)euro bonus at different levels. And at every level you get for example 150%; 200%; 300 % of a regular bonus that everyone receives. So instead of a normal bonus of 10 euro like everyone else, you get 15; 20; 30 euro depending on your loyalty meter.

Unibet poker has the system with the challenge points for poker, i think this is a nice system. You can't choose your reward and it resets every 3? months, but i think this is already a bonus. Maybe they can change the system so you can choose your reward.

There is a loyalty shop planned,  has discussed it a lot before.

That and a hand replayer are a couple of things Unibet have really wanted to add but are long term projects.

You can exchange UO tickets again all is unicorns and rainbows in Unibet land.

I'm not sure how I missed this one from two weeks ago, but:

The plan at the moment is to have the bonus shop for Sep/Oct. We're calling it bonus shop v1. We will often award bonus points in promos & Challenges rather than tickets. The points can then be spent in the shop, and the only items in the shop will be tickets/bonuses.

Then we have bonus shop v2, which will come a few months later. This version will work the same, but we'll cut the payouts from the loyalty scheme by about 33%. We will then spend this money rewarding the biggest losers by giving them bonus money, quite a lot of bonus money in some cases.

The aim is to reward players who are doing worse lately, because they're most likely to leave soon. It's also consistent with the idea that I really want to encourage the players who are happy to deposit €50 each month and view poker as entertainment. Sometimes they win, but sometimes they don't, and I want to keep them around.

The current plan is also for us to be part of the global Unibet bonus system later on in the year. I'd love to be able to offer sports bets etc in the bonus shop, but the precise capabilities aren't pinned down yet.

Physical goods are currently too hard to offer. The problem is that shipping is incredibly expensive to some countries, and indeed impossible in some cases. For example, we've tried shipping iPads to Russia before, only to find them disappearing once they reach customs. The way around that is to have local warehouses in each country, and to have different items in different countries shops. That's the kind of thing I'd like to do for the bonus shop v3.

Bonus money and Challenge points are different things - Challenge points will continue to reset each quarter, but bonus money will stay in your account.  We'll probably have to give it 3 month inactivity expiry or similar though.  If you don't login for a quarter, the points are reset.  Otherwise we run into financial liability problems.

Andrew,did I get you right?

So you will make us earn points in the monthly challenges and those points we can use in the shop?

If its so,its a great idea, much better if everyone can choose what he likes to buy with those points.

Great guys,good job!

Many promos and some parts of Challenges will pay out bonus money.  You can use that money to buy tickets in the bonus shop.

It could be great if we win these points in the first steps of challenge because sometimes rewards don't fit in with players habits, for example, it is a bit annoying to win 1€ ticket when you don't usually play these buy-in. If we can accumulate points to get bigger tickets, it seems really nice.

I'd prefer to award the first few €1 tickets as tickets to specific game types because we have causal data that say when people try different game types they're more likely to stay longer.

After the first few I think we should mix it a bit, but generally award bonus money.

Bobbleheads of a few of the more popular avatars would be nice. Would definitely spend points on those.

I debate
Should I smile like everything's good and pretend that life is great
Or should I let the world see the real me and not hide this pain
I tried to be like the rest of y'all, sorry I just can't
I'ma probably die this way

I'd like to have some simple physical items (paper masks of avatars would be relatively simple and fun too) but we'd need to segment by country, which the system currently can't do.  It would be impractical for us to store everything in the UK and ship to Peru or whatever.
