New community poker league?

Stubbe-Unibet

Recommended Posts

It's been a while since the last community league ended, and I'd like to hear your thoughts on the next edition.

Few of my personal ones:

3 different tiers: €1, €5, €10

Each tier got it's own night: €1=Tuesday, €5=Wednesday, €10=Thursday

Two tournaments run on these nights at 19:30CET and 20:00CET.

League runs for about 6 weeks (Christmas theme?)

Any thoughts on stream, leaderboard, format, fun new stuff etc.?

I prefer less days. All tiers could run on the same day twice/week

If "Two tournaments run on these nights at 19:30CET and 20:00CET" better run them as close as timely possible, not 30 minutes apart

Format: Turbo with longer late reg

Move starting time to 20:05. No-one likes to cut their break short :)

Tuesday is bad as it is rest day for UOS players. Maybe not so important for micro stakes guys, but wanted to bring it forward. Maybe it doesn't matter, players who would play those 1€ events can answer to that.

Would love to have at least those 5€ and 10€ events streamed, but can you have streamers to do streams on all 3 days for whole 6 weeks period?

And I vote for quick formats, 1,5 hours or max 2 hours of running time for each event. Might separate them a bit more, maybe have 1st starting 19:15 and second 20:05. Pre-determined but changing format.

And for sure get 1-day leagues as well for Saturdays, even once in a month. 6-8 events with 5€ buy-ins, streamed on Unibet channels with added prizes.

+1 for that. I'm missing DaVitsche StreamLeagues - they were so much fun and with great added prizes.

Although I think 1 or 2 buy-in would be better in order more players to have a chance to play them.

1,2,5 Euro in my opinion should be better. I don't think there will be many players want to play 10 euro, but maybe i'm wrong.  Two tournaments during one hour is to much. Maybe better to separate them for at least two hours time period?

Appreciate the feedback!
In terms of leaderboard, I'm thinking we can simply base it on the tournament payout, so top 17% or so would get points, and you can actually see in the client how many you'll get - €1 would equal 1 point. But perhaps this is too volatile with the payout structure being very top-heavy?
There'd be a GTD on all tournaments, to avoid big swings in the points from one week to the other.

I would prefer 2 days a week instead of 3 or even 1 day/week, the buyins levels should be fine unless there will be occasional tournaments like 10+rebuy+addon which might not attract that many community members.

The main part that i would prefer would be different tournament formats every week, sometimes freezeout, sometimes full ko, sometimes part ko, sometimes bit slower sometimes bit faster blind levels, sometimes even blind levels like we had in the halloween tournaments :) loved those btw!  etc.

"From a Fun Perspective I think all MTTs should be PKO and 75% of them being NHLE an the other 25% being PLO"

I like this idea from @FreedoM

Also, I would prefer 1€, 5€ and 25€ (5€ and 10€ feel quite similar and I would prefer 25€ over 10€). Maybe I am one of the only ones who has this preference. 1€, 5€, 10€ is still ok.

I could play some, stream would be nice.

Sunday would be also good day to play.

Could uo tikiets also be buy in option for some tourny? If they can, how about tourny series starting with 32 or 64 players, buy in 1€ or 2€ uo and half of players always wins tikiet for next one, so 4€, 10€, 25€...  until last tourny there is heads up between two players for 250€ tikiet?

Santa's favourite

Just like Santa only has presents for the well-behaved, he also has an extra surprise for his personal favorite. Be the first to win both tournaments on the same day and get a €1,100 UO Online ticket!

Santas elves got bounties!

Santa's elves (Unibet employees) will join the tournaments from time to time, and when they do, they'll send a gift to the player elminating them from the tournament. In the unlikely event that an elf should win a tournament, the next one will have triple the GTD!
