llrrss
What do you guys think about this one? I’m obviously very suspicious after villain’s call on the turn, and when the board pairs on the river, all the sets beat me as well. I still decided to jam in order to extract value from weaker flushes. The risk is of course that a weaker flush will fold here - villain actually tanked a while before calling with the K high. If I check, the following could happen: It goes check-check against a hand I beat, value lost.It goes check - bet, which I have to call here right? In the clarity of hindsight, I suppose a bet around $10 would have been better, perhaps even less, just to make sure hands I beat have to call and to minimise losses against hands that beat me? Silver1
Which other hands in your range at river do you play the same way? Is the jam a bluff or for value? When the river pairs the board, do you have any sets in your range that turn into a house?
