Title says it all. If you can't use your spins due to restrictions or any other reason (hopefully) you can request them to be converted here. I'm sure @JeppeL won't mind :)

It's not the Queen of Flips spins that get converted, it's the slot machine spins you get for completing part two of the Monthly missions.

The free spins are very good value though as there are no wagering requirements on the win, so anything you get from them go straight to your account as cash :)

After discussing it thoroughly, we've decided not to offer the conversion possibilty. The spins are great value without any turnover requirement and very easy to use, so it would seem nonsensical from our point of view to offer this all things considered. I hope it's not too big of a problem and that you all get some good wins(free money) on the spins :)

Same here self excluded, The spins used be changed to bonus points for players self excluded before the month of the mission so we didnt lose out because self excluded.

If you're self excluded, didn't you already get the 250 points in the mission instead of spins?

This issue was part of the talks we had about it and we feel, that we have to stick to our guns on this and keep the promotion as is. I understand it's not the greatest if you're self-excluded, but I guess it's a positive that the number of Free Spins given in the promotion is fairly small.

erm.. but isn't what youre doing is actually "not sticking to your guns" if you change the way of handling free spins without any previous announcement??! I mean, up to you to change your way of dealing with this any time obviously. And yes, we're talking nickles here. But last time there were spins on the missions you'd only convert spins into points if players were already excluded before that month. So if someone changed his casino-status just to be able to have spins converted for the next time, it's kinda messed up :/

It's really unfortunate that the option to change spins for points for self-excluded players has been removed.

I fully understand that Casino is a much higher revenue stream for Unibet and they want/need to cross promote but I don't see how pushing players that have made a responsible gaming decision to potentially put themselves at risk in order to maximise their monthly rewards is a good decision over doing the conversion for what appears to be less than 10 people just now. Now I know we're only talking about a few €'s financially but there is also the time it takes to complete the mission (possibly up to 3 days) and the fact that you may have to play games or formats you're going to lose money at in order to receive a reward you cannot use.

Going forward, is there an option to screen players before the beginning of the month that are self excluded and tailor rewards for them to not include spins? My understanding of one of the last software updates was that they could allow for personalised missions but I don't know if this extends to the reward.

I should probably explain a bit more as you mainly have me to thank for this but I don't feel we're being unfair here. When we first started giving free spins as a mission reward we agreed that all players who were already self-excluded at the start of that month could exchange their spins as that seemed only fair (in that first month, a particular step gave only free spins and no poker reward).

After that we made sure that any mission step giving away free spins also gave a poker reward - the free spins are an extra on top of the poker reward and if you don't wish to play casino then you can just ignore them. If we say that everyone who is self-exlcuded can exchange the spins and receive the poker reward then everyone just self-exlcudes. Of course anyone who doesn't wish to play casino should self-exlcude, but we can't just add extra value to a mission step for no good reason.

I've said a number of times that the reasoning behind this isn't because we are facing pressure to xsell players to casino, far from it. We have added this because we would like to be able to have access to the casino playerbase in order to xsell to poker and we can't take without some give. @MoreTBC There also isn't a quick solution for screening players at the beginning of the month when it comes to these missions, the targeted missions are a separate thing.

We want to grow the poker site, and we'd be helped massively in that endeavour by bringing more casino players to the site. This is part of that effort.

Would it possible to convert the spins into a €1 free bet/€1 bingo thingy then? I know it's not specifically the casino part of the website but it still get's us there :) I fully understand the need to give the casino a little in order to get access to that customer base, I think it's fine and I understand the reason behind giving spins as a reward. As far as I'm aware everyone in the thread isn't here from a "Screw spins, I don't want them" standpoint, it's a "I want to use them but I can't, is there an alternative?" standpoint. I would use the spins if I could but I can't because I made a RG decision months ago. I'd be very surprised if people are actively self-excluding now in the hope of getting an extra 100BP based on the activity in this thread but I fully agree it's not something Unibet want going forward.
