Tennis fans, the time has come!

After such a long wait, we continue with the community tradition and we're ready to hit some balls! Always thrilling to find out what changes are in store for top players, who will be this year's sensation, who will fail right from the start and there is no better opportunity than to join us in this American adventure. US Open will continue Grand Slams frenzy in just a few days!

The 2020 US Open will be the 140th edition and the second Grand Slam event of the year. It will be held on outdoor hard courts at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Centre in New York City. This will be the first major tennis event since the start of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic in March.

For the 5th consecutive year, Unibet Community proudly presents a new tennis competition, hosted by a true tennis fan, @AndreiBN. The competition is split up into two parts:

  • The Daily Giveaway
  • Tournament Predictions

Daily giveaway:

Every day during the tournament @AndreiBN will set up a question where you'll need to pick one of the 4 available options,  in order to qualify for the chance to win the daily prize of €50 in Free Bets or Poker Bonus points.
We'll try to have questions with pretty close outcome when it comes to picking options, so even if you're not very familiar with tennis, you should still be able to pick the right outcome once in a while Smile

If you guess the correct answer, you'll be included in the daily raffle, together with the other members who got it right as well. The daily giveaway prize will be added to your accounts in 3-4 days after the raffle will be done!

The members with the most correct picks throughout the tournament will compete also for a spot on the podium, as follows :

  • 1st place: €100 in Free Bets or Poker Bonus points.
  • 2nd place: €60 in Free Bets or Poker Bonus points.
  • 3rd place: €40 in Free Bets or Poker Bonus points.

A very important thing to keep in mind: Only members posting their prediction in the daily competition 13 out of the 14 days will be eligible for the extra prizes.

Tournament predictions:

We've set up 10 questions about the tournament. Members who will have the highest number of correct pre-tournament predictions will also compete for a place on the podium, as follows :

  • 1st place: €100 in Free Bets or Poker Bonus points.
  • 2nd place: €60 in Free Bets or Poker Bonus points.
  • 3rd place: €40 in Free Bets or Poker Bonus points.

A very important thing to keep in mind: Only members posting their prediction in the daily competition 13 out of the 14 days will be eligible for the extra prizes.

But this is not all! Surprises keep coming, thanks to our lovely community guys ( @Jeppe-Unibet and @ReCorpH ) who went the extra mile and added some extra value to this community brand competition.

Jackpot added :

That's right! You heard it well. Besides all the great value so far, we added the option for a Jackpot to be won here. Not gonna lie, it's not gonna be an easy task, but that's why it's called a Jackpot Smile

In order to get your hands on extra €500, you must get ALL the pre tournament prediction right! So , this means if you are lucky and inspired enough, you can top up your balance with some great extra prize!

Freeroll excitement :

And we don't stop here. As we like to spicy things a little bit every time, we thought of combining sports with poker, so after the competition will be done, we will be hosting a poker freeroll tournament. It will not be a money wise crazy one, it will have a €100 prizepool, but it's more about the excitement and the joy of playing against fellow community members.

In order to be eligible for this free roll, you need to have, during the whole competition, a minimum of 4 CORRECT answers from the daily question. So, if you wanna take a spot in it, make sure to count well your answers and picked them wisely.

Will post more info about all this in the special thread for US Open 2020!

Here are the questions :

Simply post your predictions in this thread, and you're in it to win it. Only members participating in the daily competition 13 out of 14 days will be eligible for the special tournament prizes - e.g. if you get 9 of the questions right but only posted the daily giveaways 10 times, you won't be able to win the special prize.

Pre Tournament prediction rules

1. Every elimination will be counted in regards to when it happens - e.g. if 2 or more players have a match on the same day, the first to be eliminated is the one that first finishes the match and is out of the tournament. Not by rounds lost, etc.

2. In case of a retirement, Unibet's terms and conditions will apply. If a top 10 seeded player retires before or during a match, regardless if he is leading or not, it will be counted as elimination. If the top 10 seed player is in big trouble and almost loses the match, but his/her opponent retires before the game is finished, he/she will still be in the competition.

3. All members can change up to 1 prediction as a one-time thing. Any change must be posted before the deadline of the tournament predictions, and they must do it by tagging the host ( @AndreiBN ) and let him know about the change, otherwise, their pick will not be taken into consideration.

General competition's terms & conditions:

1. Please try and make an effort and just not copy/paste other member(s) predictions. Although we can't prevent anyone picking their favourites, we reserve the right to disqualify obvious copy/paste pre tournament predictions.

2. Only members participating in the daily competition at least 13 out of 14 days will be eligible for the special tournament prizes

3. Members can change they daily prediction only 1 time in a day. And they must do it by tagging the host ( @AndreiBN  ) and let him know about the change, otherwise their pick will be voided.

4. Members who change their daily prediction without notifying the host more then once , or members who spam their daily pick will be excluded from the daily raffle, even if their pick was correct. It this will continue, members will be excluded for good from the competition and forfeit any potential prize.

5. Prizes will be paid out in Free Bets and/or poker bonus points. Bonus points can not have over 50% of the prize value ( this apply to the pre tournament predictions + Jackpot + overall daily picks and daily prize ).

8. Wagering requirements are explained in some tutorial videos you can find in the community.

9. Your pre tournament predictions must be submitted in this thread before the 30th of August at 22:00 CEST.

10. General Unibet terms and Conditions apply

11. We reserve the right to amend or withdraw this promotion at any time.

To Swedish and Belgian players, please be mindful when joining this promotion, due to new regulation we won't be able to add you the prizes.

Hope you are all ready for a couple of weeks of exciting tennis , after all this time. And even though spectators will not be allowed , i'm confident the quality of the game will measure a Grand Slam status. We are living strange times now , so this might be one of the hardest tournament when it comes to predicting the outcome , but let's just wait and see what the future brings.

The daily prize it's a very juicy one , as it will be €50 and that's not all.I will try my best and make the raffle right after we have the outcome of the daily question, but bare in mind that there will be days when this will not be possible asap, due to IRL stuff, so please be patience and understanding also in regards to when the prizes will be credited to your Unibet accounts.
As there might be delays in the original schedule,i will follow the official posted schedule and the deadline for every question will be around 30 minutes before a match starts(or it's suppose to start).

Kindly note into following the rules,as there will not be any exception made. And it's not necessarily to get the daily answers right, but it's really important to participate every day(or at least 13 out of 14).

The first round of the US Open will kick off Monday 31th of August 2020,and i will make sure to post the first question right after the registration for the pre tournament predictions will be closed ( Sunday 30th of August @ 22:00 CEST).Wish you guys all the best of luck and if you have any questions reguarding this competition, feel free to ask or send me a PM.
